As the class ended Sid walked up to Gerald who was walking to lunch.

"Okay Gerald what is up with Arnold?" Sid asked. "Don't worry man I'll explain durning lunch." Gerald said as he and Sid walked into the cafeteria to get their lunch.

After a few minutes later Phoebe and Helga were eating with Gerald as Gerald was about to eat his lunch he saw that his girl and Helga staring at him.

"What?" He asked raising a eye brow. "We'll talk hair boy what's wrong with football head?" Helga asked.

"Well." Gerald sighed "he's asleep as you know that when I looked at his face he has a black eye, a bandaged around his chest with dry blood." Phoebe gasped "and the weirdest thing of all that his stone isn't in his chest anymore."

"What that's impossible we all saw that it went inside!" Helga said. "Well it's not in there anymore Pataki!" Gerald said glaring as Phoebe put a hand on his arm to calm him down.

"Look after school I'm going over there to see if he's awake if you two want you can come with." Gerald said as he stood up and walked away from them worried his girlfriend.

Later that day the trio was walking to Arnold's boarding house as they were walking Gerald remembered that his friend vanished in front of him and his friends.

Flashback.

Everybody was standing near the battle after they sang the son that Gerald wrote as they were standing there watching.

Then there was a blue light making everybody covered their eyes once they open them Arnold and La Sambra was gone.

End flashback.

"Gerald?" Phoebe touched his arm snapping him out of his memory. "Yeah babe?"

"We're here." Gerald looked up and noticed they were near Arnold's boarding house as Helga knocked the door they waited.

As Paokie opened the door she saw that it was her grandson's friends. "Ah Eleanor!" Poakie smiled at the blonde teenager in front of her.

"Hi is he awake?" Helga asked hopefully Poakie who let them in as she made them followed to the kitchen they gasped as they saw Arnold sitting by the table without no shirt he's wearing a bandage around his chest with dry blood still.

"Hey guys." Arnold said weakly his friends cheered as they all rushed towards him and hugged him but not to tightly. Arnold smiled and hugged them back "'man I missed you." He whispered.

"Where have you been man?!" Gerald said as they let go and sat down next to him. "I don't remember all I remember was waking up here but I defeated La Sambra." Arnold said making his friends smiled widely.

"Arnold my man it's good to have you back." Gerald said as they did their hand shake. "It's good to be back-." Arnold grunted in pain as he held his chest with his hand making everybody worried.

"Come on you need to changed those bandages." Poakie said to her grandson as Gerald helped his friend walked up the stairs.

A few minutes later Gerald finished helping Arnold with the bandages as he threw away the old dry blood bandages in the trash can "there you go man." He said as he sat in Arnold's chair by his desk.

"Thanks." Arnold said. "No problem my man." Gerald smiled at his friend who smiled back Arnold looked up at his glass ceiling to look at the sky which had a couple of clouds floating by.

"So how long I was gone?" Arnold asked. "They didn't tell you?" Gerald said confused making his best friend shook his head "Arnold you've been gone for six months man." Gerald said making Arnold green eyes winded in shock.

"Wow I was gone that long?" Arnold asked sitting up wincing. "Yep, everybody misses you man." Gerald smiled "even Helga."

Arnold eyes landed on his best friend with blush on his face making Gerald chuckled "Gerald!"

"Okay! Okay!" Gerald laughed out loud making Arnold scowled at him even know he's smiling.

"So when will I go back to school?" Arnold asked. "School man your still hurt I don't think it's a good idea-."

"Gerald I don't like to sit in bed all day it'll drive me crazy!" Arnold said as he sat up.

Gerald rubbed his chin he smiled "I'll see if your family would let you go to school."

"Thanks Gerald." Arnold smiled as he did their hand shake.

"No problem well I better go I'll see you tomorrow it's Saturday so we can hang out man I'll do what you want." Gerald said making Arnold nodded.

"See you man." Gerald said as he walked out of Arnold's room Gerald smiled excitedly his best friend is back he started dancing and cheering making Arnold chuckled.

As Arnold sat back down on his bed he sighed frowning as he picked up his stone necklace as it glowed lightly in his hands.
