“What are ye doin’ lass?” He puffed out more smoke from his cigarette as she stared out the window.

“I’m just looking Allistor.” The (h/c) girl smiled slightly as she inhaled the smoke. She was used to it.

“Lookin’ at what _____?” Allistor asked, locking his green eyes to the back of her head.

_____ turned around and her sparkling (e/c) eyes met Allistor’s.

Anyone in the car could say it was love at first sight. Too bad no one was in the car at the time…

“The sun.” She blushed and returned her gaze to the ball of light up above much to Allistor’s dismay.

The Scotsman frowned. “What’s so interestin’ ‘bout the sun lass?”

“It’s so…bright.” _____ smiled at the last part. The girl was always fascinated with the day, while Allistor loved the night.

That was one of the reasons their relationship was so interesting.

Inside he was nervous and shaking. Every time the redhead saw your (s/c) face, his heart would flutter and his stomach would start to feel weak.

He decided to take you to the park where you two first met.

And there she was, gazing up at the sun like always. Soon she would know that she is his sunshine only sunshine.

He walked up to her form and tapped her on the shoulder. “_-_____?” He gulped. It was now or never.

She turned around, (h/c) locks blowing behind her, and faced him. “Yeah Allie~!” She asked with a giggle.

Oh how he hated that nickname, but when it passed her sweet lips, he loved it.

“I…I…” He stuttered out.

“What’s gotten you speechless Allistor? Did you walk in on Arthur in the bathroom again?” _____ asked, humor in her voice.

“N-NO!” He waved his hands in front of his face then realized what he was actually doing. “Lass. I need to tell you something…” He shuffled his feet in the snow.

“All right~!” _____ smiled, eyes lit up with excitement.

“I want…I need…” Here he goes…

“You can tell me Allistor, we’re friends~!” She smiled again and tilted her head to the side, more of her hair falling into her face.

Friends.

Just friends.

“You promise forever and a day…?” He was starting to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.

“Friends forever…” Allistor gave a weak smile and mumbled.

“I have to go Allie~! Bye bye~!” She lifted her head and placed a kiss on Allistor’s cheek bone and disappeared into the snowy streets.

Allistor placed his head in his hands. He was just rejected. Bad. 

Crunch. Crunch. He turned round and saw a blonde standing there.

“Arthur?” He called.

The blonde ran forward, he was face-to-face with the taller Scott.

“Bloody hell Allistor. I’m so sorry.” He said, looking him in the eyes.

“It’s fine.” Allistor smirked. “I’ll just have to try again…”

“_____! Lass!” He called out to the (h/c) girl crying on the park bench.

“A-Allie?” She lifted her head out of her hands.

“Lass! What ‘appened?” Allistor asked, embracing you in the cold.

“He did it Allie! That jerk left me here! H-he broke up with m-me!” She sobbed hader into the redhead.

“I’m so sorry lass! It’s all right, he wasn’t nice anyways.” He cooed in her air. Warm breath in her ear, making _____ shiver.

“Th-thanks Allistor.” She shivered into him.

“No problem mo ghràdh (My love).” He hugged her tighter, keeping the girl warm.

She smiled. “Allistor?”

“Yes lass?”

“I’m glad you’re my friend.”

“Me too…” He returned her smile and the two of them sat on that park bench that winter.

_____ and Allistor were walking in that one park. Their park. _____ wouldn’t look at Allistor or even smile as much as she did.

Allstor’s eyes lit up. After all this time. After him helping her with homework and boy troubles…She finally loved him back.

“R-really?”

“I’m sorry…” She mumbled, letting another tear fall.

“Why? I’ve loved ye since forever.”

Her face softened. “And a day?”

“And a day lass…”

Never to wake up again.

“Day…” Allistor sobbed into her lifeless body.

He didn’t care if he was in the middle of the street, he needed to be with her for her last moments.

If only he saw that car coming.
