Chapter 6
Last chapter...
Both the girls began to hear pounding footsteps, and from the sound of it, they belonged to more than one person.
"Enough!" Belarus shouted. "Big Brother! You let me in this room, or so help me I'll-"
"Belarus! Wait!"

Lithuania came racing down the hallway with another person (y/n) had never seen before.
"Please, little sister! Do not do this!" The person said.
"No! Big Brother will become one with me!" The person moved closer to Natalya. She seemed to be trembling.
"P-please, sister! Brother Russia does not want to become one with you!" her voice quivered.
(Y/N) was thoroughly confused.
"Big Sister, why do you want to become one with Mr. Russia?" the small girl asked.
Natalya growled. "Because he needs me! He needs me to protect him from all of those other countries!" She banged her fist on the door.
"Well...he seems like he can take care of himself. And the only person attacking him is you." (Y/N) said.
Natalya craned her head, her eyes practically blazing.
"What?" she said in a menacing tone. Clearly she was mad. But innocent little (y/n) didn't mean for that to happen. She was just stating what she saw. She didn't know that it would cause this.
"Big Brother!" Natalya shouted through the door. "Is this true?! Am I attacking you?" They both heard a yes through the doorway.
Natalya's face fell.
"Bu-but! I am here to protect you!" Silence.
Belarus suddenly became furious. "Why won't you accept my love?! Why won't you..." her voice lowered.
"Please, little sister. Let us go home. Maybe we can go visit Elizabeta or Lily."
Natalya was silent for a while; no one moved. (Y/N) just looked back and forth from Big Sister back to the lady back to Big Sister then to Lithuania then to Big Sister then to the door then back to Big Sister until her head was spinning.
"Alright," Natalya said slowly. "I will go with you, Ukraine. It is clear to me now that Big Brother will never love me as I love him." Belarus walked off and joined her sister. They made their way out of the hallway.
"Goodbye, Big Brother," (y/n) could barely hear come from Natalya's mouth.
Once they turned the corner, Ivan peeked his head out from the door.
"Is she gone?" he asked. Lithuania nodded. He made his way out from the room assessing the damage. There were scratch marks on the door, but not as deep as they usually were.
"Mr. Russia?" (y/n) asked tentatively. "Will Big Sister be okay?" He nodded.
"Yes. She will be alright. She is a very strong person. She will be back soon."
"Mr. Russia? Can I go with Big Sister Natalya please?" Ivan stumbled back in surprise almost knocking himself against the wall.
"Wha- (y/n)! Why?"
"(Y/N). Are you dure this is such a good idea." Lithuania added. The small girl nodded her head, determined.
"Yeah! She seems really upset right now. And you're her family, and she feels like she just lost it. She feels like she lost her family. I know what that feels like." Suddenly, Russia felt terrible. It wasn't that he didn't love Belarus; she was his sister after all. He loved his sister, and he cared for her. He just didn't love her in that way. And Natalya could be a little suffocating at times, always proclaiming her undying love for him and constantly proposing at times...odd times...all the time, every day.
But he didn't want to hurt her. Did he really make her feel like that? Like she was abandoned by her family. The only family she had, the people who loved her no matter what?
Ivan Braginsky ran his hand through his light hair and sighed.
"Alright, sunflower. You may go with Ukraine and Little Sister," he said sadly. "I think they both need the cheering up." A small pair of arms wrapped around him.
"Thank you, Mr. Russia. For everything." He smiled at her and wrapped her in a warm embrace.
"Go, sunflower. Little Sister needs you right now." She slowly took herself from him and took off running trying to catch up to the two.
"Bye Mr. Russia! I promise to come back soon!"
And he knew. She would come back. Eventually. Running back to his warm embrace, back to stay with him in his castle in the snow. She would be back.
Then why did it feel like he was saying goodbye for good?
