The Axis Trio were roommates during their World Academy years. And when they weren't on campus, they all lived together (they also lived with Roderich, Gilbert, and Elizabeta too, whom got jobs teaching at World Academy). They liked being with each other, gave them excuses to snuggle the crap out of each other every night.
