Chapter 3
*How the shaman looks like*
"I don't see him! How about you?!" Berwald yelled at the blizzard. His voice was almost drowned out by the sound of the screaming wind.
"Nothing! ...Wait! Look over there!" Lukas yelled back as he pointed forward assuming the others could at least see him through the falling snow.
They all turned toward to where Lukas had pointed. A man appeared from the abyss as he shielded his eyes from the snow with his left arm. They all ran toward him...well at least, tried to. The snow was inches deep. Tino clumsily fell as he tried to jump over the pile of snow he was trapped in.
"Mathias! Where were you!? We were all worried sick! What happened to your face?!" Tino exclaimed as he gazed at the cuts on Mathias's forehead.
"It's nothing. I'll tell you later." He looked at Lukas and Berwald, "Why didn't you tell me?" Lukas and Berwald questioningly look looked at Mathias as they looked at each other every five seconds.
"Tell you what?" They both replied in unison. Mathias gave them both a cold stare as Tino wiped the snow off his clothes.
"Don't play dumb with me! I know everything." His voice started to get louder as his face grew angrier, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! DID YOU THINK I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE PAIN?! DID YOU THINK I WOULD NEVER FIND OUT?! DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD IT IS KNOWING YOUR BEST FRIENDS ARE HIDING A SECRET FROM YOU?!"
Tino slowly walked towards him, his voice was almost a whisper "Mathias, just calm dow-"
Mathias turned to him, his nostrils flaring, and pushed him to the floor, "YOU CALM DOWN! I HATE YOU!" Tino looked up at him with wide, watery eyes. Lukas and Berwald ran in front of Mathias as Berwald shouted at Mathias to calm down.
Tino slowly got up, his legs shaking and looked up at Mathias. "It's okay Den...I know when I'm not wanted." Tino sniffed while tears ran down his cheeks
"Tino...I didn't mean t-" Mathias was cut off when Tino ran the opposite direction crying, his arm on his face. No one had ever violently touched him. Ever. He was a young kid, like Lukas. All he was trying to do was help.
"Tino!" Mathias shouted, "Come back! I didn't mean it! Really!" The three started running after him.

»Tino's P.O.V.«
I ran away as fast as I could, crying. He pushed me. I knew I was just dead weight to them. I started going into a forest of long trees. My throat was burning as I felt hot tears running down my face.
I need to leave. I need to never see them again. They are better better off without me. They...they hate me. I turned around. They were gone. I decided to continue running...my heart is aching and my chest hurts where Mathias had pushed me.
Loud yells of grief escaped my mouth.
"I can help you, child." I heard a soft, sweet, voice say. I stopped in my tracks.
"Hello?" I looked around, "Is anyone there?"
"I can help you get away from them. They won't hate you anymore." A woman's voice said. Every word she said ended with and echo, her voice was so soft and gentle.
"Who are you? I-I don't mean any trouble...I was just passing through." I half-yelled toward the direction of the voice. I turned around. It was a lady. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a robe, almost like the greeks. She had a golden bracelet on each of her arms along with a golden necklace. Her robe was white, and towards the end of it, it turned blue. Her smile somehow made me feel safe.
"It's okay. I won't harm you. You said that your friends hate you and that you want to get away from them for fear of causing them trouble, correct?" She asked warmly. How did her voice echo at the end of each word?
I sniffed, "Yeah?" She got closer to me. She was almost as tall as Mathias, or Berwald.
"You poor, poor child. Here." She handed me a piece of food. It smelled nice. I ate it and it tasted very sweet. Like the deserts Lukas use to make. She smiled when I ate it.
"Come, quickly." She ordered as she fast walked through the trees. I nodded, then started to follow her.
We passed many trees. Some which seemed familiar to me. Of course, they were just pine trees, but something was off.

-Eastern Germania-
"So let me get zis straight. If vee help you attack Scandinavia, you vill leave us alone?" A Germanian state asked while lighting a lantern. The other states looked at the silver-haired man, waiting for his response. The man sighed as he slowly got up from his chair. He got closer to the Germanian that asked him the question. Too close. The state almost peed his military pants. Instead of everyone thinking the man would try something violent, he smiled.
"Why, yes. Jou help me get zose Nordics, and my men vill leave jou alone. Of course...this is only if you succeed." The man replied as he put his right hand on the shaking states shoulder.

>Tino's P.O.V.<
"Where are we?" I asked as I stepped over a mud puddle. The lady stopped walking and turned to me. What? Her face showed sadness as a tear ran down her face. She opened her mouth to speak, then closed it as she looked at the ground.
"Tino...there is something...I've been keeping something from you." She admitted sadly as she looked away. I gave her a stare as I walked closer to her. I was about to say 'What do you mean?', but before I could speak, I felt a hand go on my mouth as my voice was being muffled. Something that I guessed was a leather back went over my head as I heard two voices laugh. It wasn't a cheerful laugh, no. It sounded like a...pirate laugh. Something hit me on the head and I started to black out.
The last sentences I heard were "Hahaha! Well done Grace! I should've known Ancient Greece would do the job!" and "Leave me alone. I've done your dirty work. Now leave me alone."
"Oh I will, hahaha. Right after I get the others."
