Just imagine Ludwig being depressed on the anniversary of WWII, both start and end and any important operations, and Gilbert teaching him to be proud of WWII.

Telling him not to be ashamed of the Nazis and Hitler and the fascism and all, but to be proud of how great a military power his country was, and the loyalty of the soldiers to their country, and the German people who helped victims out of concentration camps and such.

As in to remind him that if those things are ever to be required for a good cause, they can easily occur.

He teaches him to look on the bright side of it, because even the Second World War, with all how horrid it was, had something to look back on and be proud of.

You may not agree with me, and such a thing on Instagram would have gotten me instantly viciously attacked, but, you know...
