Appearance: She has dark brown hair that is heavily turning gray and has a slight curl to it. She normally keeps it up in a bun of sorts but when down it reaches just past her shoulder blades. Her once darkly tanned skin has lightened over the years due to staying inside more, though it is still rather tan. She has a lean physique and her height is unknown as she is confined to a wheelchair and has been paralyzed for a very long time. Her eyes are a dark turquoise color with flecks of white and always have a gentle look about them.
Xochiyotl normally wears simple dark brown pants and a flowery see-through pink blouse with long flowing sleeves under which she has a white silk tank top. She never wears shoes and usually keeps a handmade blanket laid over her legs and feet (given to her by Cadmael). The only type of jewelry she wears are necklaces; she constantly wears a jade pendant on a string (that keeps breaking) depicting a jaguar mother and cub sleeping together.
She has quite a few scars though most are hidden beneath her clothes. The most prominent, though never seen, is a small yet large scar that looks to be from a puncture wound on her lower back.

Personality: Kind and gentle yet stern and commanding she is willing to show compassion to just about anyone she meets though she will not tolerate rudeness or foolishness, nor horse play if there is work to be done. Xochiyotl is ever patient and can wait days or even years for others to open up about something; she never presses too hard if the topic is one others don't wish to talk about. The only exception to this is if she knows that talking would help.
Mirthful and full of love she has a mother's instinct and apparent sixth sense, don't think for a moment you can stick your hand in the cookie jar before supper even if her back is turned. She adores children and is always willing to give advice where needed or wanted, or simply just a shoulder to cry on. She will rarely ever turn away someone in need.
Xochiyotl is fair and hardly ever takes sides in an argument (unless it's her own) and takes the time to listen to each side of the story before making her final judgement. She is also not hesitant to give her opinion whether wanted or agreed with or not.
She prefers to keep the past in the past and only bring up the lessons learned from it, she will never judge a person for how they were before and likes to only see how they are now (there are very few exceptions to this). As she says "you can always create a new future, but you can't change or bring back the past."

Other: Xochiyotl began life as a warrior though after she became paralyzed that was no longer an option for her. She was forced, though not exactly against her will, to stay with the healers and thus over time began to pick up a bit about that and found another way to help others. Rather than going into battle she was able to direct people in how to help heal the wounded when the actual healers weren't available. Though she never did become a healer herself and only has limited knowledge (even if that knowledge is far greater than the average person it does not compare to a professional).
While she does not have any magic to speak of she does have a certain commanding authority, though what from not many know or remember. Nor are those that do willing to say. This authority is enough to make even those like loyal Sachihiro go against Xoc if so told....
