Appearance: Kitchi has long dark hair streaked here and there with grey due to both age and repressed stress from over his years. It hangs down to about mid-thigh in a long tightly woven braid with two bone clips on the end to hold it in place. He sports short bangs that both frame his face and hang down slightly in his new moon-black eyes, giving them a shadowed appearance. He has a naturally tanned skin tone, as most of his siblings do, and a strong broad shouldered physique. Any scars be bears are likely new due to his ability to heal quickly most of the time. There was one incident where he wasn't able to which left a spiderweb-like crack looking scar across the small of his back. He doesn't speak of it often.
His attire has stayed both simple and unique over his life. He sports a simple pair of buckskin leggings and breechcloth both of which are beaded and painted with tribal designs. When at home he doesn't wear a shirt but in more public places he's taken to wearing a dull dark red zip-up hoodie that's probably seen better days. (It was a gift). For footwear he dons beaded and quilled moccasins.
Around his waist is a wide belt with many pouches and trinkets hanging off it all around. He had two bigger square pouches on either side and smaller ones here and there. This is for holding items of various materials for if he ever got in a pinch and needed it. Though the bag on his left hip hold snacks for occasionally he will get so engrossed in a task that he won't get up even to eat. So as a precaution he keeps snacks with him at all times. On the back of his belt are loops that at one point held weapons but now only one holds a small hatchet or sometimes tomahawk for everyday tasks instead.

Personality: while he appears outwardly to be cold, emotionless, and uncaring one has only to break past that barrier to find the warm hearted, devoted, and loyal man underneath. Kitchi keeps his emotions under wraps most of the time and around certain company, one too many incidents in life has taught him to do so. But with the right company he will let his inner self shine through and be known. If you know him well then a simple glance or subtle corner of the mouth smile is all you'll need to know that he cares.
Kitchi keeps to himself often though not out of reclusiveness, he rather likes having others around as he gets lonely sometimes, but rather due to his workload. Which sometimes can overwhelm him. Living in a rundown shack of a house that constantly needs fixing doesn't leave much room for needed social interaction. But he gets around this occasionally by calling others to check up on them.
Always willing to lend a shoulder to cry on Kitchi is very protective of his siblings, especially those who are closest to him, and will swim across oceans and cross deserts to help them if they are in need. Don't be fooled, however, he is neither gullible nor naïve and doesn't take well to being tricked in the matter (or any matter if that's the case). And woe to anyone who has done so if he finds out he's been lied to. For his wrath is a force to be reckoned with. Not even a solid brick wall could stand in his way.

Skills: Kitchi and Ahanu share one trait in the fact that they are both unmatched in their ability to create homemade Maple Syrup. Though whereas Ahanu is better at birch bark crafts Kitchi is better at making the unique bells sewn into their tribe's ceremonial clothing (made from bones, taking out the marrow inside to create the bells).
Kitchi is highly skilled in creating weapons, be it for hunting or for war. Though he doesn't do so as often anymore save arrow and knife making.
He is fairly decent at sewing, having learned to do so due to living on his own for long periods of time. Though admittedly his sewing of clothes and sewing of wounds appear the same...

Other: though his tribe as a whole (along with his neighbor Innu) currently suffers from mercury poisoning he has never been driven from his traditional native lands and remains there today. Along with having his traditional culture and language still in tact.
Kitchi has little in the way of magic, unable to do more than a few simple things. However, there is one thing that sets him apart: he can become whatever material he touches on will. Using this he can also heal himself rather well by simply absorbing the same material again to 'fill in the gaps' whenever he gets hurt. Though he isn't able to do this all the time as he needs enough of the material to properly do so.
He has lived in the same shack of a house for several years now and doesn't seem keen on moving anytime soon. It's so broken down that it is constantly in need of some kind of repair. This has made Kitchi very good at fixing things by unusual means, however necessary to get the job done.
