Why He Came to Camp International: he was curious about the island and, though he'd never in a thousand years admit it, he missed Nathan....

Appearance: Ben has dark messy brick-red hair that he usually keeps dyed a dull black, it hangs in his face much to his annoyance though he never does anything about it. He has a pale skin tone and a lean build, he appears to be obviously very non-athletic though don't be fooled he can pack a mean punch if he so wishes. Ben has deep violet-indigo eyes with dark circles underneath from lack of sleep and constantly wears a black leather choker that he never takes off for any reason. It hides a jagged horizontal scar made several years ago.
He hates wearing bright things and always sticks to dark colors. His favorite shirt is a dark purple T-shirt with a black skull and crossbones printed across the front. He wears black skinny jeans held up by a chain belt and black combat boots. He can always be seen wearing his trademark dark grey hoodie that's tattered and worn and frayed at the edges, he hardly ever takes it off even during the summer.
Ben has a birthmark on the side of his left calf about the size of three quarters laid in a triangle that appears to heavily resemble a bird.

Personality: Snarky, introverted, and headstrong Ben is very stubborn and wary of every new face he meets, even some of those he knows as well. He is strong-willed and is easily capable of getting most any job given to him done in relatively good time. Being the type that can't sit still for very long he is always finding things to do and often forgoes sleep to do it. He hardly ever makes friends but to those he does he is very loyal. However, if his trust is broken it can never be earned back.
Ben is somewhat skittish around those of higher authority or greater fighting prowess which stems from the way he was initially raised. Bough he is always ready for a fight and isn't afraid to take in any challenge presented to him, something that often gets him into trouble.
With a nonchalant attitude and a daggering glare to boot Ben has no regard for politeness and is all too willing to give you facts and opinion (which is rarely ever good). He insults and curses enough to make a sailor blush and has absolutely no qualms about hitting a woman if need be.
Though behind his tough exterior he hides a lonely and broken heart. Ben is always second guessing himself and has very little self-confidence or self-worth. In his mind he is nothing and a bothersome nuisance to everyone. Yet still he craves attention and love. He may act like all those insults and punches mean nothing to him but piece by piece it chips away at him. He is reluctant to go to anyone for help and would rather simply hide in a closet than have a heart to heart. Though for the right person he will open up eventually.
His biggest wish in life is to know that he is wanted and cared for and that he won't just be shoved aside like some doll at the first chance someone gets.

Allies: few. Namely Nathan, Parker, Enigma, and anyone that proves they can be trustworthy.

Enemies: anyone he deems so or he feels has offended his family.

Skills: he is gifted at knife throwing and disappearing (literally). He can play the electric guitar though hardly ever does around others. He's also pretty good at magic tricks (though not actual magic).

Other: He is a forced insomniac, wanting to distance himself from his 1p (who sleeps a lot and is considered lazy). And since Léon is thought of as lazy Ben will force himself to do whatever tasks he can find that he is physically capable of doing and will not stop or rest until it is all done. Most times he has to be forced to stop (and once had to be tied to a bed and forced to rest).
He has only three magic abilities: rendering himself or a limited amount of others invisible for a certain length of time, intangibility (that he has very little control over), and a limited telekinetic ability (really he can only levitate things to a degree). He isn't very good at using this magic though and is thought to be incapable of any other magic and doesn't really care to test the theory....
He has a love for dogs and whenever the opportunity presents itself he will take one in, whether it's a pedigree or a stray matters not to him.
