Little kid Alfred hears little Mattie call Francis 'Papa' so he decides to start doing it. But he can't pronounce it so it comes out as 'Pop Pop'. Francis thinks it's adorable and doesn't correct him so Alfred continues with it until he's older when he just calls Francis 'Pops'.
