You pulled out... a white bear plushie on a key-chain. You giggled softly as you connected the polar bear with the shy Canadian that you knew. He was the most adorable person that you knew, and you loved him for that. You just were too shy to show him that you had feelings that were more than just "liking" him as a friend. You scanned the crowd because it was useless to call out the item, since almost none of the other nations even knew Canada existed. You quickly spotted Matthew and walked over to him.

"I got your item, Mattie." You said, smiling slightly. You held out the key-chain and put it in his hand.

The shy Canadian blushed slightly. "So... you're being stuck in the closet with me, eh?" he said quietly. You nodded a bit and grabbed his hand, gently pulling his into the closet with you. You watched as Alfred closed the door behind you two.

"So... uhh... i guess you're stuck with yourself for 7 minutes, (Y/N)" The american said. You sighed. It was no use to try and correct him, you thought. You brought the Canadian to the back of the closet and showed him the secret compartment that you've found when Alfred accidentally locked you in the closet when you were smaller because he forgot you were in the closet. You two were playing hide and seek. You have been hiding stuff in the compartment for about 4 years now, and it was like opening a treasure chest. You hid your maple syrup in there also, and you wanted to share some of it with Matthew. As soon as the maple syrup got taken out of the compartment, you opened it and handed it to the Canadian. You could practically see his eyes sparkle as he took a small sip out of the bottle. You giggles softly at his reaction.

He is so adorable, you thought. You blushed slightly, and considered telling him about your feelings. You leaned forward, intending on whispering it to him. Instead, you felt his lips pressing against yours. You blushed profusely and started to pull back, but you felt thin hands grab your shoulders and pull you towards him again. You squeaked slightly, and felt his tongue lick your lip, asking for entrance. You granted him access, and his tongue explored every nook in your mouth that he could reach. You slightly licked his tongue and felt his face heat up. Curious, you reached a hand up and tugged on his curl making him gasp slightly and pull back. He was panting softly.

"S-sorry, (Y/N)" Matthew said.

"It's o-okay, Mattie." You replied, blushing. "I... a-actually kinda enjoyed it..."

You suddenly heard the door open and you saw Alfred standing in the door frame. "You enjoyed what?" He said.

"N-nothing." You said, scowling at him slightly. You put the stuff back in the drawer and hid it again. Matthew grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the closet, and over to the kitchen where he hugged you tightly.

"(Y-Y/N)?" He murmured in your ear.

"Yes, Mattie?"

"Will you be my g-girlfriend?" He said shyly. You nodded and he kissed your cheek, smiling a bit. The rest of the night, you two were inseparable.
