"Flavio, there's nothing in this shop but dresses!" you complained, looking around the shop you had regrettably let Flavio drag you into. "And they're not even normal person dresses! They're-"

Your friend and crush, Flavio (who had dashed off the moment he stepped over the threshold) now reappeared, waving a dress in your face. A hot pink, ruffly, sequinned dress.

"-ghastly," you finished, staring in horror at the dress. "Please, Flavio, tell me that you're not implying I should put that on."

"Of course-a I am!" he huffed. "You'd-a look much more-a stylish in this!"

"No!" you said firmly. "That's a freaking parade float. Do they have any pants in here?"

Flavio replaced the dress on its rack and put his hands on his hip, frowning at you.

"Come on-a, (Y/N)!" he sighed. "Where's your-a sense of fashion?"

"Back with my pants," you declared, grinning at his apparent indignation.

"How can such a ragazza bella not love-a beautiful clothes?" he asked irately. "You haven't-a bought anything-a stylish since last year!"

You opened your mouth, about to point out that said stylish thing had in fact been pants, but then the impact of all his words hit you. "Flavio, what did you say?" you asked quietly.

"That-a the last in-style thing you-a bought was last year?" he repeated. "I mean-a, seriously, (Y/N)-"

"No, before that," you interrupted.

Flavio quickly went red, and you smirked. Got him.

"You called me a ragazza bella, a beautiful girl, didn't you?" you asked sweetly.

There was a very long silence. "Fine-a," he mumbled at last. "You're beautiful, and I like-a you. Happy?"

"Very." You flung your arms around him and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. "Guess what? The feeling's mutual."

He blinked in momentary confusion, then smirked and pulled you into a second kiss, ignoring the wide-eyed stares from the store clerk at the counter.
