Have you ever felt so addicted to something that you know is going to be the ruin of you? Like drugs or alcohol or maybe a person. The feeling of a moth drawn to the flame. Icarus flying too close to the sun. You should never give in to the pull. You should fight it, fight it all your might. You know how people are. Foolish, emotional, inefficient junk! That's what people turn to when they give in to the attraction. I believed I'm not the moth that jumps into the fire, as I jumped into it. I believed I'm not Icarus flying too close to the sun, as I flew right into it. Even as I got burnt, I believed I'm a metal, that goes through fire, melts and emerges stronger and more beautiful. Ah, foolish mortal heart! What did I know of the difference in melting in fire and burning in the same. I was no metal. I was just a silly, silly moth, who just couldn't be strong enough. I was so fascinated by my wings, I had to go touch the sun.
