Karin and Lisa sat in their favourite booth a few hours later at the diner. Karin reeled with curiosity and nearly suppressed excitement. Her mind was turning over with a million questions that she wanted to throw at Lisa all at once but all she said was.

"Soooo?"

"I took the pills."

"No not the pills, how was it?," Karin queried as she stared at her with excited eyes.

She tried not to smile. She had called Karin this morning and shared with her that Erin had forgotten to use a condom, and she would like her to accompany her to the drug store to pick up some morning after pills. She had told her not to worry about it and promise to do so.

As promised she had followed her and then they had hurried to school where separate classes have them making plans to meet at the diner, now here they were with Karin bursting at the seams with curiosity and excitement.

"Just so you know I will never in this lifetime ever regret giving my virginity to Erin," she confided softly. "He made the experience worthwhile, and far beyond my imaging." she said, then giggled self consciously before adding. "I was the one who lost all control, I practically raped the poor fellow."

"O my word," Karin giggled as she stared at her friends' flushed cheeks and reminiscing smile.

She was about to say something when a presence by their table caused her to look up. Poised with her notepad and pencil was Sophia the waitress who came to take their order. She was about to ask for the order but she paused and for a minute stared intently at Lisa.

"Something is different about you."

Lisa tried her best not to blush as she stared back at Sophia. "Maybe it's my contacts I got a new colour."

It really wasn't a lie, but it was however not the reason.

"Hhhmmm, I never knew of contacts causing someone to glow the way you're glowing," she persisted, her eyes taking over Lisa's face then going to Karin who stared blankly at her. Sophia was beginning to get too intent and it caused Lisa to glance about the diner nervously.

Karin saw that Lisa was getting uncomfortable under the older woman's scrutiny, so she quickly placed an order of two lattes causing the waitress to scribble on her notepad and lose focus on Lisa, but knowing her Sophia was not one to drop anything that got in her radar. She was like a bloodhound.

"We're having them to go," she added deciding it's best to leave before someone else place together the fact that Lisa had sex, it was radiating off her like a beacon.

"Is it obvious?" she asked as she looked intently at Karin with questioning eyes.

Karin nodded her head and gave her a broad smile which caused her face to turn a darker shade of red. Karin watched as she took up her bag and took out her compact to stare at her reflection.

"O Karin I do look different," she gasped.

Before Karin could reply Lisa felt as if she was being watched and found herself looking towards the entrance of the diner. Eyes as cold as ice glared at her.

She felt her body shivered under the blatant hatred that she saw directed at her from the dark eyes that bore daggers into her. If ever her name suited her it was now because she was as cold as mist.

"Here dolls," Sophia said, returning with their shakes to go and drawing her attention from the girl who seemed as frigid as the arctic, and when she looked back to the door Misty was gone.

Lisa felt blatant fear and wondered if she had made the right choice of letting Karin post pictures of her and Erin cuddled up after sex in the whatsapp group she had made her create for the very reason of rubbing it in Misty's face that Erin was hers only.

She was not very sure that the game she had leveled up to teach Misty a lesson was now the right thing. She might have taken this too far.

"Lisa are you Ok?" Karin asked, she realized the change in her friend.

"It's nothing," she said with a dismissive smile as she shrugged off the feeling of apprehension. "Let's go, I am going to head over to the Elders' home, I need to spend some time with gran before I meet up with Erin. He texted saying he has a surprise for me," she revealed with a giggle and a blush that turned her smooth cheeks a more pretty shade of red than it already was.

"I just bet he does," Karin teased and they both giggled.

They left the diner shakes in hand as Karin came up with some outrageous ideas as to what Erin's surprise might be.

When they were in the parking lot Lisa glanced around anxiously causing Karin to automatically do the same, when her searching eyes found nothing she raised a questioning brow at Lisa.

"It's nothing," she said, "just looking around."

Shrugging her shoulders Karin walked to her mum's cars. She got the chance to use it because her mum was starting the night shift tomorrow so she got the day off thus giving her the opportunity to not have to take Lisa out if her way to drop her home.

"Tell nan I say hi, and do full joy your little surprise," Karin said as they hugged and got in their separate vehicles.

This time it was Misty who watched from the shadows, before she got in her jeep and followed Lisa out of the parking lot she sent another message and smiled deviously.

It was time for Lisa to pay for taking Erin away from her.
