"-En I woke up on the hallway floor and my head was pounding. There were people in my room who were investigating and said that I had to find someone to share a room with so I don't tamper with evidence." I explained what happened to the girls. Mina and Hagakure nodded in understanding, while Uraraka and Tsuyu stayed silent.

  "Who are you going to stay with?" Hagakure asked.

  "Probably Mina." I shrugged and looked at her. "Would that be okay?"

  "Yep! I don't mind." She gave me a smile as we walked inside of the dormitory.

  "Thanks Mina." I put my arm on her shoulder.

  "What about Bakugou?" Tsuyu chimed in. "Why aren't you going to sleep in his room?"

  "Because some things happened and I don't want it to be awkward." I rubbed my neck with my other hand. "He knows that I like him, but he doesn't return the feelings, so that would make up for awkward nights that I want to avoid."

  "So you still like him?" Hagakure asked.

  I looked at the floor as I sat onto the couch and I couldn't help the smile from appearing on my face. "Yeah, I do."

  "Put on your suit and let's go!" Mina's hand hit the closet door multiple times. "I don't want to be late Kiri!"

  "I'm almost dome Mina!" I put on my jacket on and walked out. "Ta daaa." I spun around and striked a few poses for Mina, Kaminari, and Sero. The dance started in a few minutes and we all decided to go together as friends; well, Mina and I did. Kaminari and Sero are wach other's dates. I never saw that coming.

  Mina whistled at me. "Go Kiri!"

  I smiled. "Let's go guys!" I was the last one to get ready because Mina was hogging the bathroom and I accidentally left my suit in there, so I couldn't change right away.

  We all filed out of the room and into the elavator.

  "Do you think that there will be food?" Kaminari asked.

  "Probably." Sero shrugged. "But I don't care about that. I want to dance!"

  "Then go ahead Star Child. Make Mama Mina proud." Mina put her arm around Sero's neck while we chuckled.

  "Do you guys know where it is?" I asked. "I wasn't there that day in class when it was talked about."

  "Oh yeah, you weren't." Mina took her hand off of Sero and looked through her phone. "It's in the training building thing that Cementoss build a few years ago."

  "Nice!" I said as we left the elavator. "So that means that it's going to be all decked out and stuff."

  "Duh." Mina rolled her eyes and I held the door open for all of us.

  Once we walked inside, it felt like it wasn't the same building anymore. There were fairy lights attached to the ceiling, as well as cheap decorations. Kaminari spotted the food table, which had a bunch of cupcakes and brownies and a few of other things. He grabbed Sero's hand and they rushed over.

  "Look at those Lovebirds go." I said while wiping away a fake tear.

  "They grow up so fast." We looked at each other and bursted into a fit of laughter.

  I looked around the room as I heard Mina speak. "It seems like everyone is here, from Class 3-B too!"

  "I know right!" I continued to look around. "Uh, do you see Bakugou anywhere?"

  She bumped into me with a smile. "Turn around." She whispered into my ear.

  I turned around and I saw Bakugou was standing there. He looked like he was about to tap onto my shoulder, and there was a surprised, but his outfit was stunning. He was wearing a suit just like mine, but with an orange tie. He looked.... stunning.

  "Uhh, hi." I straightened myself out physically (because I couldn't do it mentally) and gave him a smile. "I didn't know that you would show up!"

  "Why wouldn't I show up?"

  "I-uhh- I don't know?" I shrugged then sighed. "So were you going to tell me something?"

  "Huh?" His face has confusion written all over.

  "It looked like you were going to say something when I turned around. Your hand was uo like.you were going to tap on my shoulder and your mouth was open." I pointed out.

  "Curse those Analysis classes we had to take last year." He muttered and I laughed.

  "I'm going to the dessert table. Bye guys!" Mina waved bye and left us. No, come back! I need your support! I wanted to haul her back over, but it was too late. I just waved bye to her then looked back at Bakugou. Suddenly, a slow song came on.

  "Hey can I-" We both spoke at the same time. I snickered about it, but he didn't.

  "You go first." I said.

  "No, you go first. Mine was dumb anyways." He looked over at someone in the crowd.

  "Okay." I breathed in, then out. "I know you turned me down and all, but will you dance with me?" He looked back at me and I waved my arms through the air. "Just this once! I promise."

  He shrugged, but I could see a small hint of a smile. "Sure, let's go." He grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards the dance floor and away from the entrance.

  He put one of his hands onto my waist and the other on my shoulder. I copied him and we started to dance together. I could feel myself practically melting on the inside because this was something that I've wanted for a little while.

  "So, what was the thing that you were going to say?" I asked him.

  "Hm?"

  "We were talking at the same time and you didn't say what you were going to say." I pointed out.

  "Oh, I was going to say that I'm great and totally perfect." He said sarcastically, causing me to laugh. "No, I'm just kidding. I was going to ask you to dance actually."

  "What? You were?" I tilted my head.

  "Yeah, I was." He shrugged and spun me.

  "But why? I thought that you didn't like me."

  "It-It's hard to explain." He looked away.

  "We got all night." I gave him a smile and he sighed.

  "I can't say no to you." He shook his head and tried to compose himself. "What I said on Tuesday, I didn't mean- well, I did mean- but I just-"

  "Take your time Baku and slow down a little."

  He exhaled. "What I said on Tuesday wasn't really true. I do like you Kiri, but I can't be with you."

  That was an emotional rollercoaster for both of us. I tilted my head. "Why not?"

  "Because, although my parenrs adore you, I don't think that they'll support. Us, I mean." He explained.

  "Oh." I looked at the dance floor, before looking back at him. "We don't have to tell them."

  "What?"

  "We can just be together. They don't have to know." He stared at me for a while, saying nothing, just staring. "Uhh, Baku-" He leaned in and kissed me. My eyes grew wide and he quickly pulled away.

  "Uhm, sorry. I just, I- sorry." He removed his hands from me, but I grabbed his arm and pulled him back towards me to return the kiss. He ended up doing the same and I heard cheering from the dessert table. I pulled away and looked over to see Mina sitting on the table with Kaminari and Sero next to her.

  "You get your man Kiri! Woo!" She waved her arms and I chuckled.

  "Those idiots." Bakugou spat out, but judging by the smile on his face, I could tell that he didn't mean it.
