Maria skipped ahead of Nico while he gave her a tour of the camp. Well...tried to give her a tour of the camp. Maria kept getting distracted, and asking him if Hades had blue fire hair?

"What's that?" Maria asked.

"That's the Aphrodite cabin." Nico sighed. The perfume smell was overwhelming. Apparently Maria agreed.

"It smells funny." she said, wrinkling her nose. Looking at the other cabins, she said, "I like that one!" She was pointing at the Hades cabin.

Nico stifled a laugh. That was unexpected. The tiny annoying nightmare child liked the dark gloomy hades cabin. Wow. He had totally expected that.

"That's my cabin. Why do you like it?"

Maria skipped towards it. "It's dramamatic." she exclaimed, throwing her arms out dramatically.

"You mean dramatic."

"That's what I said." Maria was now trying to climb on top of the skull fixture in front of the cabin. She dropped down and studied the cabin. "It looks sad." That, Nico could agree on. He had been meaning to redecorate the cabin for a while now. What had he been thinking when he designed it?

"I know how to make it happy!" Maria exclaimed. She marched into the cabin, and Nico quickly followed her. She thrust out her arms and the cabin filled with rainbows. Nico blinked. Maria scrunched up her face, and the rainbows began to rearrange themselves. Into unicorns. Rainbow unicorns. Nico sighed. That was definitely not how he was planning on redecorating the cabin. Sure, he wanted it to be more cheerful, but rainbow unicorns? Really? He turned to Maria about to ask her to take them away, but she looked so proud.

"Do you like them? I've been practicing!" she said. Nico's heart melted. Even he was not mean enough to tell her to take them away.

"They're.....awesome!" he said, forcing a smile. Maria beamed.

"Can we play Mythomagic now?"

"Um...we haven't finished the tour-"

"MYTHOMAGIC!" Maria yelled, pulling Nico out of the cabin. She was really strong for a six-year-old.

She pulled Nico towards the Iris cabin. When they were passing the Apollo cabin, Nico heard a familiar voice.

"Nico? Where are you going?" asked Will. Nico turned. Maria, apparently temporarily distracted by a new person, ran up to Will.

"I'm Maria Garcia! My mom is Iris, who are you? Do you want to play Mythomagic?" Will looked like he was trying not to laugh.

"I am Will Solace, I am Nico's boyfriend, my dad is Apollo. I don't know if I can play Mythomagic right now. They need me in the infirmary. Someone's arms got chopped off." Maria giggled.

"Are you going to marry Nico?" Nico and Will turned bright red.

"I'm just going to...go.....chopped arms....bye!" Will said and ran off. Nico glared at Maria. She smiled innocently at him.

"Mythomagic time!" she yelled, and ran towards the Iris cabin, pulling Nico along. He sighed.

Finally after three hours of Mythomagic (which was actually kind of fun, although Maria won), and questions like;

What cards do you have? Can you do this? Do you love Will? Why are you so quiet? Why don't you have blue fire hair? Can I have a jacket like that? (what was it with the blue fire hair?) Nico could finally go relax. He trudged back to his cabin, exhausted, and collapsed onto his vampire bed, the rainbow unicorns still all around the room. He fell asleep quickly but was awakened by Hazel.

"Nico, why are there rainbow unicorns all around the room?" Hazel asked. She had grass in her hair and dirt on her clothes.

"Long story.....tiny nightmare.......couldn't say no.......mythomagic..."Nico mumbled. Hazel raised her eyebrows.

"What time is it?" Nico asked.

"5 o'clock. In the evening. It's not even dinner time yet. Also, Chiron said we have to sit with our "little buddies" at dinner because he has an important announcement." Nico stared at her in disbelief. He had fallen asleep before lunch, Maria was so tiring. And now, he had to sit with her at dinner? He groaned and got out of bed, still fully clothed. This was going to be the longest dinner of his life.
