Luke plopped onto his bed, exhausted. In the morning, he'd had basketball practice. Then, after half a day's worth of draining classes, he lost fifteen minutes of his lunch break to soccer practice. Then, after even more long and tiring classes, he had baseball practice all the way until 6 p.m.. The whole day, he barely had any time to catch his breath. He sank into his bed, too tired to hear the sound of his bedroom door opening as in walked his boyfriend, Ethan Nakamura.

At the sight of his worn out significant other, Ethan chuckled. "Long day?" he asked, visibly amused.

Luke groaned in response, causing Ethan to chuckle again.

He went over to Luke's bed, sitting down on it and making sure he was comfortable before running a hand through his boyfriend's hair soothingly over and over again.

Luke yawned softly, Ethan's hands running through his hair lulling him to sleep as he gave in to his tiredness and drifted off to dreamland.

"Rest well," Ethan said warmly, leaning in to speak into Luke's ear as a smile grew on the sleeping boy's face.
