Jiper

I don't usually write Jiper fanfic, but this was fun and nice. There a cute couple and let's all just pretend the The Burning Maze never happened. Okay? Anyway I only own the plot and hope you enjoy!

"Hey, Pipes," Jason said. The two were simply hanging out in the Zeus Cabin, out of sight of the creepy statue, of course.

Both Piper and Jason had been relaxing, simply enjoying each other's presence as they snuggled on the bed.

"Hm?" she responded.

"Did you want to do anything for Valentine's Day?" Jason asked.

Piper shifted from her position on Jason's chest to look him in the eye, "I haven't actually thought about that. Kind of ironic, huh?"

Jason chuckled as they both sat up against the head of the bed, Piper leaning against her boyfriend, them fitting together like puzzle pieces.

"But if there was one thing you wanted to do, what would it be?"

Piper sat there, thinking for a minute. Her kaleidoscope eyes sparkled and Jason thought she looked absolutely beautiful with her choppy hair in a messy bun on top of her head, strands and baby hairs sticking everywhere. She wore a baggy sweater, jean short, and simple socks, yet she still managed to look better than any goddess out there.

"I still don't know. I want you to pick," Piper smiled slyly.

"I have a perfect idea," Jason replied leaning in closer.

"And what would that be, Sparky?" Piper laughed, scooting towards her boyfriend.

"It's a surprise," he smirked.

Piper laughed and playfully punched him in the arm. "Well it better be good, or else my mom will kill you. Then I'll have to kill her, get your soul back from the Underworld, and then kill you again."

Jason pecked her cheek, fidgeting with the small box in his pocket, "I think she'll approve."

~~~~~ Time Skip ~~~~~
The next day was amazing. It was all planned out, simple, but still romantic beyond anything. And Piper appreciated that, she really didn't want any big gesture, just a day with the boy she loved, and him loving her back.
First, they went to the beach, where Piper taught Jason how to surf, though, he never really got the hang of it. She was truly touched, knowing the ocean was probably the last place he wanted to be, but he'd planned it out anyway. And Percy was there, so everything was fine.
After that, they went to visit Piper's dad, where they talked and caught up. Jason had a private talk with her dad, which she had a sneaking suspicion about what they were discussing, but was quickly forgotten.
Then, they went to a museum that specified in Cherokee and Native American culture, which Piper had almost cried about. It pulled at her heart strings that Jason cared so much about her, that he would go through the trouble of finding something like this just to learn more about Piper and her family. She had actually been talking about going to a museum like that for a while, and the fact that he'd taken it to heart made her want to kiss him right there and then.
Finally, they went to a fancy restaurant where Piper ordered a salad, and some tomato soup, and Jason had gotten a steak and a side of steamed vegetables. The food was delicious, and Jason insisted on paying for everything, including the desert they'd shared, which was a banana split.
So, to put it shortly, Piper's day had been amazing. As they walked out of the restaurant, Piper leaned against her boyfriend as they walked through the busy streets of Manhattan.
"Thanks, Sparky. Everything you did today was perfect. Aphrodite would be proud," Piper laughed softly, tugging her jacket against the cool winter air.
"Anything for you, Beauty Queen," He said, kissing her forehead.
They walked in silence the rest of the way to Half-Blood Hill, until Jason stopped, holding onto Piper's wrist once they had reached the top of the hill, where Thalia's tree stood.
"Pipes, I love you," He said, looking slightly nervous, but cool altogether.
"I love you too, Jason," Piper smiled, holding his hand.
Suddenly, he let go of her, and got down on one knee, and all of the suspicions from her dad's house came crashing back down on Piper. She felt tears form in her eyes and an undeniable smile make it's way onto her face.
"Piper McLean, you have beauty in you that I've never seen in anyone else. You are so unique, special, and so, so beautiful, on the inside as well as the outside. You're kind, caring, funny, and brave. You are everything I aspire to be, you are my role model. You stand out in a crowd, and turn heads whenever you walk into a room, and I feel so lucky, and so gifted to call you mine. I am blessed, and I wouldn't change a thing that's happened if it meant I wouldn't end up with you."
Piper had tears streaming down her face, and knew her eyes were red and puffy. Jason held a small box in his hands.
"The way we have met may not have been normal, but then again, what about any demigod is?" Piper laughed through her crying. Jason continued. "Even with a lost memory, I knew I loved you. You don't need makeup or dresses to look pretty, because the moment when you wake up, I see a goddess. So after five years of loving you to no end, will you marry me?"
Piper could barely form words, she just tackled Jason, kissing him on the spot, and he lifted the both of them up into the air. It was magical and perfect.
She smiled against the kiss, then nuzzling her face into Jason's neck.
Once they were back on the ground, Jason showed her the ring, it was a brilliant gold, and when in the right light, it reflected a rainbow. It held three small diamonds on the top, each glistening just as bright as Piper's eyes.
He put it on her finger, and once again, Piper sobbed tears of pure joy, "Yes."
