Piper's POV

I couldn't stop thinking of Leo. That's all that was on my mind Leo Leo Leo. So when Percy said let's go to the beach I mumbled ok and went to my cabin to start getting ready. That's when I heard my walky talky buzz. Each of the head counselors and their second in command had one and were able to communicate better this way. I clicked the answer button. "Yes" I said sick and tired of hearing the buzzing sound. Emily's voice came through the speaker. Both Emily and Jess were second in command because Percy couldn't choose.

"I made lunch for everyone. So don't worry about that we'll eat on the beach. Bring a picnic blanket if you have one."

A chorus of replies came through.

" Ok. See you in 5 minutes" I responded. I went to my closet searching through my cloths I finally found a lavender bikini and teal flip flops. I slipped the outfit on and grabbed my sunglasses and my beach bag. I threw sunblock, a magazine, and my goggles in my bag along with my towel. I put my hair in a side braid and headed out my cabin door to the beach. I had only gotten about 5 steps when I heard a familiar voice.

"Piper, wait up" Annabeth said as she caught up with me Hazel shortly following. I looked at the two of them Annabeth was in a gray bikini with flip flops and aviators her hair was up in a ponytail and she had a Yankees baseball cap on and her beach bag thrown over her shoulder. Hazel was a whole different story she had a dark purple one piece on with denim shorts and flip flops her hair was up in a ponytail and she was holding a bag.

"I don't understand how you guys can show so much skin and not feel totally violated." Hazel exclaimed. Annabeth and I laughed at her lack of modern day knowledge.

"Annabeth is your Yankees cap not working again or something?" I asked her.

"I have 2 caps one from my mom and one that's normal." she explained.

"Oh that makes sense." I said. By then we had reached the beach the boys and Percy's sisters were already there. Emily ran up to us.

"Drop your stuff somewhere and get in the water. The boys declared war against the girls!!!!" she exclaimed already running back to the water.

"Ok that's a new one" Annabeth said throwing her bag, flip flops, and sunglasses on the sand and running towards the water.

"Let's go" I said to Hazel dropping everything. I hadn't noticed it before but, Alexa wasn't there.

"Sorry i'm late. I couldn't decide what bathing suit to wear!" Alexa said running up to the beach and dropping everything and I mean everything she looked like she packed her whole cabin! She was carrying a huge tote, a beach chair, a beach umbrella, and her hat. She was wearing a baby blue bikini and flip flops with her hair loose and sunglasses.

" Alexa did you pack your whole cabin!!!" Emily yelled coming over to help her friend. She took the chair and umbrella and set them up.

"Emily don't even comment on my amount of beach things you know I burn easily and don't like to sit on the sand." Alexa said annoyed.

" Alright but come on we're having a girls against boys water fight and the boys are currently losing and I would like to keep it this way. So hurry up, hurry up, double time, move move move move!!!!" Emily shouted already knee deep in the water.
