"Alright, it looks like we have everyone back together now" Serena said to the whole group

"Man what timing to do all this," Gary said while looking at all the ships

"So what's the plan?" Dawn asked

"Well, we need to stop the Pokemon from being taken. That requires us going out and destroying ships or the destroying to pipes they are using to suck up the Pokemon" Clement said while looking at his laptop

Somewhere across Kalos

"Master, are you okay being here?" a Pokemon asked his trainer telepathically

"Yeah I'm just fine, we are here to save the world again, not go for a stroll through memory lane"

"You sure? Your aura doesn't give off-"

"I said I was okay!" the man retorted

"Master.... I'm sorry..."

"Its okay Mewtwo, don't get too hard on yourself. After all this is cleared up, we can live normal lives again" the man said turning to his trusty partner

"What will your friends think of you? What about the girl? How will they react to the-"

"Just shush my friend. Time will tell. The most important thing right now is keeping an eye on them. We will reveal ourselves when the time is right" he interrupted his Pokemon

Mewtwo nodded in understanding, but he knew that his master was avoiding reliving his past. He shrugged off the thought and followed his partner across the streets

Back with Serena and the group

"Alright, we need to separate into groups. That is the most effective way we can stop these things" Clement suggested

"Wait what?!?" Dawn asked with worry

"We just can't split up! Remember what happened last time!?!" May yelled

Serena recalled those moments. She shut her eyes and let a few tears roll out of her eyes. She didn't know what to do and all of the sudden, she ran off. Pikachu and Greninja followed her quickly behind.

"Pika pi!!" Pikachu yelled at Serena

"Greninja!"

Serena just kept running until she couldn't no more. She started to fall, but Greninja caught her. Serena started to bawl.

"WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HIM!" she yelled hitting into Greninja's back. Pikachu jumped on his shoulder and tried to nuzzle to Serena to make her feel better.

"We miss him too" Gary said while walking up to her

"I just can't bear it too much anymore. It just feels like everyday the pain grows more and more" Serena said while trying to stop crying

Gary sighed and walked over to give her a hug, "I know the feeling. Come on, we need to do this, for him, he saved us to protect this world, now we need to do the same"

Serena smiled and had a sudden urge of confidence build up in her, "Yeah you're right, lets do this"

Somewhere a little ways away

"Master, she still believes in you" Mewtwo

The boy just stood there. Tears rolled down his face and onto his mask. "I know, I don't know how long I can take it anymore."

"Do you think you're ready?"

"Not at all, but that won't stop us from helping them"

"How are you gonna do that?"

"Come on, you know me, I figure out situations when I'm thrown into them. I don't plan things out. I just let them happen. Come on, I know what I'm doing"

Back with the group

"Serena!?!" Dawn yelled, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just lost it, that's all" Serena explained

"I'm sorry..." May apologized

"No you're fine. You did have a point though. That's why I thought we should stick together this time. Just for safety reasons"  Serena exclaimed

"Yeah I agree" Brock said

Everyone else nodded

"Alright, seems like everyone has agreed to that, lets get everything planned out" Serena said with determination in her voice

For the next few hours, the whole gang sat around making up plans. They decided to go in as a group, but each one of them had a specific place to check out before heading back to the group. Everyone agreed and got ready. They all made their way out of the building. Serena stayed for a couple of minutes before heading out. Gary took notice and went to talk to her.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, just thinking about him"

"You know, he's probably out guardian angel. So he's probably already up there with Arceus making sure we will be okay" Gary reassured her. Serena smiled and nodded. Then the 2 walked out to the streets

Time Skip

"Alright Staraptor! Give us a hand!" Serena yelled while releasing the bird Pokemon

"Raptor!" The bird Pokemon was waiting for her command.

"Look around the city and see if you can find any trouble" Serena commanded. The Pokemon nodded and started to fly away

The whole group started to route that they decided to take and look for trouble

Staraptor's POV

I was looking around the city, until something caught my eye. I looked down and saw 2 figures walking on top of a roof. With my curiosity, I started to fly down to the figures, but suddenly they disappeared on me. I was confused. Suddenly I heard cries from people, they weren't the cries of my people. I took off and saw some grunts terrorizing people. I immediately flew back to Serena

Back to 3rd Person POV

"Raptor!" the bird Pokemon said while flying back to Serena

"Pika pi? Pika pi!" Pikachu yelled, exclaiming to follow the Pokemon

With 2 figures

"Master, you think they are ready to fight Team Rocket by themselves?"

"I'm afraid not, that's why we are here my friend."

"Are we going to help them now?"

"We shall find out my friend, we shall find out..."

Back with Serena

The whole group sprinted as fast as they could to the scene. They finally managed to meet up with the crime. It was about 10 grunts harassing some civilians.

"Greninja! Water Shuriken!"

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!"

The grunts were hit by the attacks. Slowly, I couple of them smirked

"So, looks like the heroes want to play" one said

"Lets call in for some help" another said. Suddenly the whole group was surrounded. Everyone gulped and sent out there Pokemon to defend themselves. One by one the grunts took down the group. All that stand was Greninja Pikachu and Delphox, who were all worn out. Serena didn't give up, she tried to attack more and more. Pikachu could barely keep going. She knew that this was her limit. She shed a few tears, "I'm sorry Ash, I failed you..." she mumbled as the grunts started to head towards the group. Suddenly everything was interrupted by a loud command

"MEWTWO! AURA SPHERE! TYPHLOSION! ERUPTION!" a powerful voice said.

Serena turned her head to the voice. She then saw a boy in a hoodie running to the scene with a Mewtwo and a Typhlosion. As Serena watched the whole scene play out. She watched this boy take put everyone like they were nothing. She gasped in awe, along with everyone else. Even though she couldn't see his face too well, she made out the boy having a mask on. It made her curious. After the boy got through finishing off the grunts. Serena stepped up to ask the boy a question.

"Who are you?...." she trailed off

The boy turned around her and made direct contact. She noticed that he had auburn eyes. She continued to stare until he spoke up.

"Just call me Red...."
