My name is Perseus Jackson.

I'm 22 years old and I have the ability to manipulate water.

I've been property of your government for almost a decade.

My existence is to find the limitations on a gifted. What else is my body capable of?- Tests and isolation and constant ice baths.

Or if I was hesitating or refused they would kill me with a bomb inserted in my neck.

I was 12 when I realized I could control water and accidentally drowned a woman who tied to help me.

S. E. C. R. E. T. S somehow found me and took me. They left me in an underground prison cell for a day of doing nothing but staring at the dark wall, my hands still shaking at the realization that I'm a murderer.

Eventually they turned on the lights and explained how my mother suddenly died from a heart attack and how I belonged to them now.

The world would never know. It couldn't. And no one would miss me.

I grew up in that cell for seven years, without any interaction with anyone else like me or my age.

They trained me how to fight and control my power. They taught me how to kill a man hundreds of ways with only my arm.

I am a warrior, alive only to die for the right purpose.
