Steves POV

I just witnessed Herobrine destroying the ender dragon. It was amazing, and terrifying at the same time.

It bewilders me how he knows when I'm in danger. It's odd.
He's a monster, and yet he's saved my life. I'm happy, and yet, I feel...like something's off.

"You alright?"
I stare at him, then answer the question.
"Y-yes, I'm fine...thank you."
"No worries, I'll always protect you."
I hold out the sword to give it back to him.
"Oh no, you keep it. You seem to like it."
I smile.
"Thank you."

I followed him towards this strange object. I looked over the edge to see it was now an active portal, and on top, was a large egg.
"Shouldn't we destroy the egg of the dragon too?"
Herobrine chuckles, which is odd behavior.
"Oh no, young dragons are no threat. I wouldn't worry about that, besides, it's not like anybody will ever come here again."

I squint my eyes. He is certainly up to something, but I'll let it be for now.
Herobrine pulls me into the portal, which brings us right back to the portal I found.
"By the way, how did you get down here, Steve?"
I look at him, curious.
"I...I fell. After exploring, I found this...activated."
His eyes widen a bit, then narrow.

"Careful Steven. Curiosity isn't safe...Now come."
He holds out a hand. When I grab it, we teleport back to my house. He's acting strange, and saying weird things. Maybe, I should keep an eye open.

The next thing I know, he's gone. I don't fret, but just walk inside and out my new diamond sword inside a chest.

Tomorrow, I will stay far away from the jungle.
