Class 1A (Part One)

Later that day, the woman did as she said, she led me to the building I would be staying in. A large brown building that she said had five floors on it. The outside was lined with white pillars and large brown doors that led into a big common area where everyone could talk and hang out, so large and open, with windows looking into a garden at the center.

"This will be where you stay from now on," She said to me, "Based on some of the things you told All Might back at the hospital, the teachers pulled together to get you some things you may like." She stopped and turned to me with a wink and a distracted smile. "The rest of your naughty little classmates will be here tomorrow." I was shaking at her words... more people... people I didn't know... but...

"COME ON!"

"GET AWAY FROM HER!"

I knew those two, and the boy with green hair... I could trust them at least... Bakugou and... the two whose names I didn't know at all. Were they... okay?

"I know what you're thinking," She said, "You're shaking so you must be scared to meet the other students, right?" I nodded as she stopped short on the side of big iron doors. "Well don't worry about that. The staff here is fully aware of what happened, and we're also aware that aside from the Pros, there were students in this class who were trying to save Bakugou that night."

"R-Really?" I asked, "Wasn't that dangerous?" I already know it was... and crazy as well...

"Yes, it was," She told me, "But Mr. Aizawa will make sure to deal with them accordingly. This being said we put your room next to one of the people who were there and another trustworthy student in your class, both females." I nodded again, feeling my hand along the cool metal doors as they slid open like magic. "Recovery Girl requested, and we told the students on your floor, if your door is open, leave it open. Only you are allowed to close it." She smiled at me, kind and forgiving.

"T-Thank you..." I whispered, a slight tremble lingering in my voice.

She left me in my room once she showed me around the rest of the building, inside was a desk and bed and boxes of things that the teachers got me. There was a hole in my room where new clothes hung from the top bar and shoes sat down at the bottom of the floor. Everything in different colors and varieties.

Inside the boxes were puzzles and books with blank pages. I remember them from when I was little things I could draw on, make a picture with my own hands. There was one large blank sheet for me to draw whatever I wanted on it, a perfect spot for it on the wall. I knew what I wanted to draw too.

"So this is home now?" I thought, "A small room with things that are all my own, a door that I can choose when it's opened and closed, and windows to the outside the world that I could open and close on my own as well." I would be lying if I said I didn't really like it.

That first night alone was restless for me, though I left the large floor-to-ceiling windows open and my own door as well, I had constant nightmares as if I was alone again. Something I haven't had in such a time, I thought that they were gone, but no... not even close. I wanted to wear something that the teachers had gotten me, and luckily, there was something that I liked. A big black shirt that was two sizes too big for my body and a hood that sat upon my head. There were black shoes in the hole and soft black pants that clung to my legs. This... this I liked.

Several hours later, I could see them all from the stretch of my room that sat outside. I counted twenty of them... Principal explained they were all my age, each training to be a hero. As I watched them I could see each of the people who were there that night, the boys with the green and red hair, Bakugou dragging off a boy with yellow hair. Quick yellow flashes of light followed behind with sudden painful screams that made me flinch and hide away from the windows. I slipped them shut and stepped back, playing with the end of my hair as it hung out of the hood.

I took a few breaths and stared at my new room which was painted white, with minimal things inside of it, a desk to do my work, a bed which I stuffed the puzzle boxes under, the windows which I kept open always, and the bathroom that I always kept shut. I would be able to meet the class today... I was a student here now... I would go to school and learn... but somehow... this newfound freedom that I had didn't settle my nerves at all, and it didn't make it worse.

I pushed past the door slowly and stepped down the hall, slowly taking the stairs since I did not like the elevator. I wouldn't run out and greet everyone right away, I didn't plan to do that. The woman showed me a place yesterday where I could hide and watch the class until I was comfortable stepping out and seeing them. One thing I was certain about though, I would be thanking Bakugou when I saw him, no matter what or who was around. He protected me and tried to keep me safe.

There was a single corner near the stairs that showed me the whole big room on the bottom. I peeked around it and watched everyone gathered around. Each person with a different hairstyle, and clothing that I've never seen before. Something different than everything I've had in my hole in my room. Some so bright it hurt my eyes, others with things that I liked just the same.

"These are your dorm assignments," Mr. Aizawa said and handed each student a piece of paper, "The belongings you've sent ahead have already been placed in your new rooms. So spend the day unpacking and getting settled. I'll tell you more about your next few lessons tomorrow."

"Yes, Sir," Everyone said, the sound of their voices together made me flinch back.

"I have a question, ribbit," A small girl said, her hair was long and green and she had these big eyes too. Aizawa nodded. "Who's that girl hiding around the corner?" I hid completely and stopped poking my head out once she pointed me out.

"Ah, I nearly forgot," Aizawa said, "Tsu, you and Yaoyorozu had received additional information about an extra girl on your floor. That being said the rest of you should have received a letter saying that UA was adding one more student to your class."

"A new student?" Someone asked, a girl from the sounds of it.

"Yes," Mr. Aziawa said, "She's been through quite a lot so don't push her or pry for questions too much, and you'll treat her with respect. This being said, Tsu, Yaoyorozu, I'd like to speak to you two privately regarding some specific rules the teachers and I have put in place."

"Yes, Sir," Two voices said, two girls. I kept my fist closed tight around the bottom of my shirt, my eyes shut as my hair hung in front of my face. I was so scared... beyond that even... how could I do this? What was I thinking? I'm not ready for this, for this many people!

"Hey," Someone said and I jumped back, letting out a startled scream and falling to the ground, "Whoa, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." His voice was calm and quiet, I know he really didn't mean to scare me. He had... green hair. "Are you okay?" He reached out to me and I covered myself with my arms, my body trembling as I jerked my head so I wasn't looking at him. My hood pulling off my head as I cowered on the floor. "Hey, I know you... You're that girl who was with Kacchan at Kamino Ward. I'm sorry we couldn't save you too." I looked back at him slowly through my arms.

"K-Kacchan?" I asked quietly as he took a step back from me, knowing I was still scared.

"Ah, well that's just what I call him," He answered, "His actual name is Bakugou." I nodded and stood up, keeping my head down and my hands on the bottom of my shirt. "I'm Izuku Midoryia."

"M-Midor... yia..." I said slowly and under my breath, trying hard to say it correctly, "Midoryia." He nodded and showed me a big and kind smile, that, much to my surprise, matched All Might's.

"It's good to see you're doing okay now. I was honestly really worried when you fell." I took a peek past him and looked around the corner again. My eyes spotted Bakugou in the distance with the redhead. He seemed... angry about something. Midoryia catching on and turning with me. "Do you wanna see Kacchan?" I nodded, keeping my head down as he chuckled a bit. "I can bring you to his room if you want." He waved a piece of paper in the air.

"Hey, Midoryia!" Someone said as they came and threw one arm around his shoulders, even he looked surprised. Yet, no shock to myself, I flinched back and took another step backward, I could tell from the way he looked it was the guy Bakugou dragged back earlier who had the yellow lights shooting from him. "Oh, you must be the new girl!" The new blonde guy stepped forward in a single motion and took my hands in his. "I'm Denki Kaminari!" I couldn't stop shaking now, my whole body, my head running wild, my heart pounding loudly. I didn't know what to do... I wasn't ready for any of this.

"Uh-Kaminari I don't think she likes being touched," Midoryia said as Mr. Aizawa stepped around the corner. His eyes glaring at this Kaminari boy with no emotion at all, not even a small bit of anger. Kaminari pulled back straight away, knowing this sight was dangerous.

"Kaminari I'm going to say this once and only once..." Aizawa said and leaned forward, anger seeping into his voice, "Do not touch her. And make sure Mineta knows that rule too." Kaminari ran, faster than I did after seeing the sunrise for the first time.

"If there's a big problem get Yaoyorozu or Tsu, they're on the same floor as you and can help. If you need a teacher they'll get Iida and he'll rush to get me or All Might," Aizawa said to me, ignoring Midoryia completely. I nodded, and Mr. Aziawa left all on his own, leaving Midoryia and me in silence for a minute or so. I've found, that much like All Might, Midoryia ended the silence himself instead of waiting for others. "I'll introduce you to Iida and the others if you want after you see Kacchan if you like. Everyone here is really nice." I nodded... a question still lingering in the back of my mind.

"Whose... Mineta?" I asked, barely lifting my head to this new boy I had seen twice. This new boy who was so worried about me... and still doesn't even know my name.
