I've looked around the dark basement. I mean it could've been worse... At least I see something. I stepped away from the torch and looked between alleys waiting for movement or something. Instead I heard something running around. I slowly backed away, concentrating on the torch as my point zero. As I glanced back at the torch I saw a figure preparring to attack me from behind. I quickly pulled out my sword moving it in front of me.

The figure moved in to attack but I already had my sword aimed at them and instead of slamming into me to tackle me down the figure got stabbed on the blade. If it wasn't for this blade only damaging spirit energy I'd get covered in blood as ghost-like blade faded through her body at the chest height.

The figure took a few steps back before falling over. I didn't want them to actually get hurt so I quickly grabbed the falling person and lift them up. I glanced at the torch and happily sigh somewhat saying a preyer for it being behind me. Soon I came into the light and saw who was the attacker.

As time is slowly passing by I decided to do something, I've gotta still get artifacts. Now since I've got myself a place to sleep and some more money I have to look around for clues as to where to start looking. I should look around the town... Maybe someone here will know more about it. I should also check what's this place culture is like, I would prefer to not do anything that may be counted as doing wrong to this place's laws...
