Chapter eight: "Anyone up for a road trip?"

Astras pov

"So your Astrid?" Jill asked confusion crossed her eyes. She then began to swat my arm. "Why didnt you tell me?!"

"Well...I couldnt have everyone knowing who the famous Astrid is, could I?" I offered her a small smile. From across the room, Lucas gaze caught mine. We held the gaze until he broke it, turning to Sara who is now talking.

"Oh no. We wouldnt want that would we?" Sara sneered, sarcasm dripping from her words. "I thought you was a 'former hero'?"

"I am, I couldnt leave Jill to die. You was all preoccupied. Jill needed my help." I stated as a matter of fact. "Dont expect me to show up everytime. Im on my own mission." I sneered.

"What is this oh so important 'mission' of yours?" Jannet asked sceptically.

"All in due time Mystic." I smiled cheerily. "Which reminds me. Anyone up for a road trip?" I grinned like the cheshire cat.

"Me and Rae will, Faith proberly will, ill ask her and Um i dont know about yous or Sam and Kai." Jannet smiled.

"Kai is a hard pass, id kill her. She is lucky she hasnt been at school. Ill ask Sam and what about it, you guys up for it?" I grinned at my 'friends'.

Murmurs of "Sure" went around. "Im not with her." Sara sneered at me.

"Suit your self." My face held no emotion, neither did my voice.

"Can I, seems as I know who you are. I might be able to help." Jill offered a small smile.

"What help could you possibly offer?" Sara sneered at her, a wicked grin placed its self on her face.

"Oh honey don't underestimate me." Jill smiled warmly. She then clicked her fingers and Sara stood like a statue. Jill sauntered over to her, grabbed her finger and placed it up her nose. She then spoke. "Oh Sara, Sara, Sara. If only you knew." She laughed. She then took a photo of Sara.

We all stood there wide eyed. The reason for that was because well we all had our masks on... including Sara. "Um-erm Jill, how did you know who Stormy is if she is wearing her mask." I asked in disbelief. Sara started moving, looking startled. She removed her finger from her nose and looked horrified.

"I can see through fabrics and materials when i want to. I know who you all are." She flashed us an innocent grin.

"So does that mean...if you really wanted to, you could see me naked." Lucas chuckled.

"Sure but Astras for you. I would just get the juicy news from her on that again... If i wanted to know." She smirked pointing to you know what.

"Wait...Again?"

"Wait yous-"

"Never!"

"Why dont i know?"

"I knew, Sara maybe if you wasnt a bitch to her, she would have told you." Jannet smirked.

"So yous..." Xander trailed off. Lucas and I shared a long look, then nodded in sync. A blush made its way to my face and i turned away.

"Do you understand now why I got so angry? No one believed us, other then Jannet and Grim." I looked away again, my eyes hardened.

Sara nodded, looking ashamed, guilt flashed across her eyes. "Im sorry, i never knew." She bowed her head and then looked me in the eyes. "What was the note about then?"

"Remember the Disneyland mishap?" She nodded.

"How can i forget, its not often you get a call like that." She laughed slightly at the memory.

"Whats the 'Disneyland mishap'?" Lucas looked comfused.

"Well..." i trailed off, staring at Xander, he nodded to me to start.

"Xander and Astra got arrested." Jill blurted out laughing. Shes proberly laughing because believe it or not we called Jill before Sara but she couldnt bail us out.

"Do I want to know why?" Lucas voice held authority.

"You need to know why. You need to know Im no cheat." I sighed then started a short version of the story. "Basically, I convinced a slightly-very drunk Xander to break into Disneyland with me." I laughed, my eyes creased and my body shook. "One of the best nights ever, it was so fun. You and Charley was out of town, we went to a party and saw each other. Nothing happened, i can promise on George's life." I pushed out, pleading.

Lucas sighed, his eyes seemed to be glazed over. "I should have trusted yoh. I should have believed you. I fücked up. Im sorry." A single tear traced down and trailed along his jaw.

I moved closer to him and wiped it from his jaw. "Shush Lucas, you will irritate your eyes. Take out your contacts, iv got your spare glasses here." My heart clenched together, seeing this beautiful man upset. He nodded amd rusjed to the bathroom.

"Wait." Jill said looking amused. "Lucas wears glasses?" She smirked at me and then whispered my way, sightly still loud. "Damn, he was hot before but him in glasses, all nerdy. Thats a new kind of hot." She winked at me and put her thumb up. 

Smiling, I grabbed his glasses once he returned from the bathroom, stumbling about. "Your all staying tonight. Mum and Dads away for the weekend for a super convention and Jannet call Grim, Sam and Faith, tell them to come." I smiled and clasped my hands together.

"What about Kai?" Lucas furrowed his brows together.

"Two words. Fuck her. Im not having her at my house and with you." My jealous side came out, i clenched my fists.

"Jealous?" Jill whispered to me. I gave her a single nod and a smile tugged at my lips.

"I love him Jill. Love him." I sighed heavily. "Come on we need to go over the road trip." I smiled at my friends
