Chapter seventeen: "Someone get a ambulance ready."

"Where are you." I huffed out. "Finally!" I jumped with joy as I had found my old white skates.

I packed them into my bag, with my scarf, gloves and Apollo hoodie. It is cold inside the icerink, which is ironic really because it is called Sunnys. I would know because i used to go there twice a week for over 7 years. If i had the time i would start again.

With a huff i grabbed my matte black starbucks cup, which I had filled with coffee, and took one last look at my outfit. People are going to look at me weirdly because i have winter clothes on. Oh well.

I teleported to behind of Sunnys. As I walked around i heard whispering.

"You cant keep doing this to her."

"Says you, you cant either."

"Your both messing with her head."

"You cant say anything all three of yous are."

As i turned the corner, they went quiet. There stood the boys. I wonder who they was talking about. "Hiyah." I smiled and waved like a penguin.

"Why was you behind of Sunnys?" Lucas looked suspiciously at me.

"Erm...ummm." I couldnt come up with an answer.

"She was checking where the exits was incase she has to make a quick exit." Jannet came to my rescue.

"Why would she need to make a 'quick exit'?" Tyler inquired.

"In case Jace is here obviously. He allways gos here." Lily then threw me a smirk.

"You have got to be kidding me." I completely forgot about that. That was another reason why I dont go ice skating anymore. "Lets just get on with it." I sarcastically smiled.

Once inside I took out my ice skates and put them on. They are still squishy inside and fluffy. The are so comfortable. I then take out my gloves, and scarf and put them on after I put on Apollos hoodie.

"Astra! How are you?" Shannon, my old coach and the owner of the icerink aske me.

"Good Thankyou. How is everyone?" I smiled.

"they are okaii. They are still a little bummed out that you left. You know the girls havent won yet since you left." She smiled weakly.

"We might have to change that soon." I smiled and winked at her. With a laugh she passed everyone some skates.

"Its been nice seeing you, no get out on there and show everyone up." Shannon smirked.

We got out on the ice, Lily and Jannet kept hold of the side. Lily gave me a single nod and I just raced off. I skates and skates until i felt the stress dissolve off of me. 

I giggled as i came to a stop infront of Lily and Jannet. "Hello." I laughed.

"You know, you still got it." Lily smiled."erm dont turn around." She warned me. When people tell me what to do i want to do the opposite even more. So i turned around to see Jace. I felt like my heart had stopped and my blood has runned cold.

"Shit." I muttered.

"Whats up?" Xander asked.

"Jace is over there." Apollo pointed. He hasnt chamged a bit. His chocolate brown eyes and light brown hair. He had seemed to grown more in muscle though. He had crinkles near his eyes as he laughed. He seemed to catch my eye though.

Making his way over I started to panic. Why am I panicking, when I literally fight Villains and is a super hero? I will never know but at this moment of time I grabbed the first person infront of me. Xander.

I snuggled my head into the crook of his head. "Has he gone yet." I whispered. He seemed to shiver.

"No." He whispered back. His hands found there way around my waist and pulled me against his body even more.

"Apollo, Tyler how are you guys. Lily lookimg gorgeous as ever." Jaces obnoxiousnessly said.

"Suck a boal of dicks Jace!" Lily shouted angrily.

"We are good, thankyou. Now what do you want?" Apollo asked agitatedly.

"Nothing. Just came to see how my bestfriends are. Havent saw you since...Well since I went out with that pretty blonde girl, Astra." You could hear the smile on his face.

"Her name is Asteria to you. Only her friends call her Astra." Xander stated.

"Apollo why is your girlfriend clinging onto this nob head here." Jace laughed. Xander had tightened his grip on me.

"Thats not his girlfriend." Tyler laughed.

"Oh come on, dont lie to me. We both know Apollo doesn't just give anybody his hoodie, especially the one with his name on it." Jace laughed.

Xander stiffened. "Xander its okaii. I promise." I whispered into his neck and he eased up. I unwrapped my self from Xander and stared into Jaces chocolate brown eyes.

"Im not his girlfriend. That shows how much you know about your 'bestfriend. Doesn't it?" I laughed. "Plus if anyone here is a dick head...its you." I smirked. "Now me and my friends are here to skate. So if you dont mind..." I threw a sarcastic snile Jaces way and Grabbed Xanders hand to pull him along.

"If you can do the routine that you couldnt do last year. Then i will leave yous to it." He smiled.

"Your on." I skated to shannon to get everone off of the ice.

Once they was off, I could hear Jace snickering to himself. Ill show him.

I started off simple. I skated and lent forward on one leg with the other on a 90 degree angle. I then grabbed my foot and pulled it up while skating. I kept a smile on my face because you have to but mostly because im enjoying it. I then pulled it up and started spinning. Slow and then faster, until everything blurred.

I then did a double spin once I had gained enough speed. As i was spinning, i began to feel upset that I stopped doing this because of a stupid reason. I promised my self i will do this again soon.

I then skidded across the ice comeing to a stop.

"This is the part she could never do. Someone get a ambulance ready." Jace began to laugh. I blocked him out and concentrated on doing it right.

Run backwards.
Glide backwards.
Backflip.
Land.

Thats all i need to do. I started skating backwards.

"She is actually going to try and do it." Jace gasped.

I then glided backwards. I took a deep breath in and swung my arms back along with my body. I landed on one leg but wobbled a little bit.

I then glided across the ice, throwing my arms around me and finished.

Claps. Everyone was clapping. Some people was whistling. Jace looked mortified. Xander stuck up his thumb, Lucas was shouting something, Apollo and Tyler was jumping up and down and Lily and Jannet Ice skated to me.

"And that everyone is Sunny's best ice skater... Asteria Stone!" Shannon announced on the speaker.

I laughed and turned to my two bestfriends. "I thought you couldn't skate." I smiled.

"We cant but seeing you here, do that we didnt think we just did it." Jannet exclaimed. Laughing we skated up to the boys.

"Eat bat shit, bum sniffer!" Tyler pointed at Jace, jumping up and down.

"That was amazing!" Xander shouted, picking me up by my waist and spun."You was so good. Im so proud of you!" He smiled, his deep blue eyes caught mine.

"Thankyou." I smiled. He put me down and Jace appeared in front of me.

"Look, im sorry for everything. Im sorry for being a douch and cheating on you. Im sorry but please come back to the team. We need you. I know your not going to join for me but at least join for the team. They need you." He weakly smiled.

"I dont know. I've kind of got a lot going on at the moment but Im sure i can come to the competitions and compete a few time." I grinned.

"Thankyou." He smiled.

"Im not doing it for you. Im doing it for Shannon and the team." With that I walked off to my friends.
