Chapter four."Ivan myst"

Asterias pov
It was starting to get dark, pink, red and purple painted the sky. As i began walking home from the coffee shop, nausea engulfed me. "Help, please." Screamed a high pitched voice, which was laced with hopelessness. "Dont worry, help is on the way." I pushed the thought into her head.

I quickly pulled my hood up and manipulated the shadows to conceal my face. I turned the cornor, comeing face to face with...batman. Nah just joking. I saw two men and a woman. Coming closer i noticed the two men i knew, partly. "BOB, GERALD GET AWAY FROM THE NICE LADY!" I screamed.

Frightened, they jumped at my voice. "What you going to do little girl?" Bob shouted laughing. Huh, im starting to get the sence of dejavu. "Cant you remember the last time you asked me that?" I laughed, tapping my chin. They began groaning, when i manipulated the shadows to grab the gun from Gerald. "Surprise bitch, you arnt getting left this time." I laughed a sadistic laugh. "Look lady, we dont want no harm." Gerald tryed reasoning. "Tell that to the police." I then grabbed them teleported to the police station, with my face still concealed, and quickly told the poice what happened. I then returned back to the lady.

"Hello, dont worry darling, i wont hurt you." I smiled. The shadows also concealed her face. "Show me your face if thats true." She demanded."promise not to tell anyone." I stuck out my pinki. I know childish. "Fine." Her little finger curled around myn. "You are aware if you tell anyone now i get to break both of your little fingers." I grinned. "Sure." She grinned back. Coming forwards, i let go and revealed my face. A gasp that was almost inaudible came from the lady. "Asteria?" "Jannet?"

No, this is bad. Very bad. "Astra, you have...powers. God i should have saw this coming." She said breathless. "What do you mean you 'should have saw this coming'?" I ask gingerly. "Well a secret for a secret i guess but we need to go somewere private." She whispered. "Say no more." I smiled, grabbing her hand and teleporting to my bedroom. Im glad full i quickly cleaned today.

"So what did you mean?" I asked curiously. "I can see the future. Well partly, I kind of have witch like powers. I can brew potions for all sorts. I can also see parts of the future but i shouldnt tell anyone because it can change. I have to be secretive about it." Jannet smiled awkwardly. "Oh well..." i trailed off speachless. "I know its alot to take in but is it okaii if i sit with you lucas and lily. I know she has powers." She sheepishly smiled. "Of course but we need to tell lily what you know." I smiled glad i have a new friend. "I best get going, ill walk home now but before i go i need to tell you somthing." She dragged on for dramatic affect, i think.  I nodded and she continued. "Follow your heart, it will lead you through the right path, also be careful, some people may want to harm you and you will put your trust in two people you would never think, you would." With that she strutted out of the front door.

"So let me get this right, you know we both have powers? Yet your not freaking out?" Lily asked Jannet suspiciously. "She hasnt got to the good part yet." Iaughed.

"YOU WHAT?" Squealed lily.  "You what what?" Lucas asked sitting down at our table. Everyone in the cafeteria is staring at us like we are aliens. Well in a way we are. "Nothing, we just found out Asteria likes someone." Jannet tryed covering up. "Who do you like and how comes she knows but i dont?" Lucas gave us the puppy eyes. Damn the angel. "Xander. She likes Xander." Lily blurted out."what no i dont." I burted even quicker. "Then who do you like?" He pressed on. "Nope Lily was right Xander. Its Xander." I akwardly laughed trying to cover up our mistake. "Erm okaii, in unrelated knews did you hear about that villain?" Lucas' eyes gleamed with an emotion which i couldnt figure out. "The one with the stupid name? No what happened?" I asked knowing who he ment. I hope he doesnt know about our meeting yesterday. "He stole from a bank, late last night, how cliche."He laughed. "Thought he would have done something more adventurous, i meen come on a bank? He could have set something on fire or vandalised a monument building. Hes a bit boring isnt he?" I laughed hard. "Yeah i guess so, but he is still a villain Astra. We best hope he doesnt do them things becasue i think the heros would be pretty pissed off. I wonder if there was a way to know who he was and what the future held." Lily gave Jannet a pointed look. " iv never heared of a super who could see the future." Lucas stated. "Iv never heard of a super who could change his appearance but hey theres the villain." I smiled sarcasm slipping off my tongue. It came out alot colder then I exspected. None the less he gave me a sweet smile and said 'i guess so'.

There was a knock on my window. Walking to the window with my eyes closed because you know im lazy i opened it. "Lily what do you want its like half three in the morning." I whined. "It's actually two in morning and whos lily?" Asked a male obnoxious voice. Groaning i asked "Invisible mystery what are you doing here?" "I came to see my favourite girl. Plus you didn't answer my question." He laughed obviously amused. I opened my eyes. "She is my cat." I smiled sarcasticlly.

"I heard cat. Was you calling me. Is that pussy, kayle here. I will claw her up." Screamed saedy running in frantically. "Thats not Kayle. Is he your boyfriend. Im going to tell mum." She purred. "I will go to the market tommrow and get what ever fish you want, if you don't say anything to mum and no he isnt my boyfriend he is..." i trailed off, not knowing our relationship status. Was i his friend? Or was i just a mear acquaintance? "Friend im one of her friends." He smiled, i stuck out his hand. Purring she softly curleed around it brushing against him. "Take off your mask if you really are a friend, or else i will tell mum and i dont care what ever fish you get me." A cheshire cat like smile plastered her face. I turned to him hesitantly.

He gingerly removed his shiny black mask, revealing a beautiful green eyed boy. He looked around my age and had glossy black hair in a quif. "Hi, im...erm..." he trailed off. "Ivan Myst." I blurted out. I turned to him to analyse his features. Sharp, high cheak bones and a chiselled jaw. Yummy. Amusement crossed his face. He was enjoying this.

"Hes purr-fect. Dont let this one go." She kind of winked and strutted out. "Well that was wierd." I sighed. I still have no clue who he was. "I changed my appearance by the way and Ivan Myst?" He laughed. "The only name i could come up with. Plus it went with the initials on your suit. Also i wouldnt know iv never saw you actual face." I laughed "will i ever?" I added onto the end. "Proberly not, although you may or may not know me but i know you, Asteria stone." He smiled, then he jumped out my window.
