The week of training passed rather quickly for everyone but the Vongola's. Tsuna, Chrome and Reborn stayed in the hospital worried about Mukuro who still hadn't woken up. Reborn finally sent Tsuna back to the house allowing him to miss that week leading up to the Festival. Hayato and Takeshi didnt even go to UA that week. When they showed up at the classroom, Tsuna looking more tires than usual, everyone was worried about them. Before questions could be asked Aizawa shooed them to the locker rooms to get changed.

The boys were talking amongst themselves a few keeping to themselves till Kirishima noticed Tsuna's back.

"Whoa," Kirishima said drawing everyone's attention. The Vongola's ignored him and continued to talk in hushed voices.

"What is it shitty hair?" Bakugo snapped. Kirishima just silently pointed to Tsuna. Everyone that was paying attention looked over and fell silent in shock. They all saw the shoulder to hip X scar and other lacerations all over Tsuna's back. Izuku's eyes widened remembering what Tsuna had told him. The silence drew the threesome's attention. Tsuna turned around as he grabbed the PE uniform jacket. More scars littered his chest and abdomen.

"How the hell?" Bakugo questioned finally breaking the silence. Tsuna sighed and put the jacket on.

"I'm protective of my friends, due to that I probably seen more villains than any of you," Tsuna replied as he got his ring from Hayato.

"What happened?" Denki asked. Tsuna paused as he looked around at the class trying to decide what to tell them.

"What do you think happened?" Tsuna stated as he and his two friends headed for the door.

"Happened in a fight?" Kirishima said.

"The X did," Tsuna replied. Hayato and Takeshi looked at each other wondering why they were to guess.

"Torture?" Shouto inquired. Tsuna glanced over his shoulder at the fire and ice user.

"Correct, and more than once," Tsuna stated before he left the room followed closely by Hayato and Takeshi. The rest of the boys fell silent and finished getting ready before they headed to the Class 1-A waiting room. The three Vongola's were talking to the girls when the other boys entered the room.

"Geez, what happened to you all?" Uraraka asked. Izuku just shook his head intacating ocs not important. Uraraka was about to say something but Class 1-A was called out.

All the first years were called out starting with the hero course classes. Hayato and Takeshi scanned the crowd like they normally did, Tsuna ignored the cheering and the people around trying to focus on the events ahead. Once all the classes were introduced Midnight explained what the first round will be. Which was an obstacle course.

After all the first years got to the starting line the sound to start came and everyone was off. Shouto managed to freeze some of the participants but none of Class 1-A. Bakugou flew over the giant robots, Iida ran past them, Hayato blew them up, and Takeshi slowed them down having told Tsuna he wasnt going to use his swords. The rest of Class 1-A found their own way through. Present Mic and Aizawa were commenting on each one, yet they could not find Tsuna. Tsuna was hidden by mist flames at the end of the course waiting to hear someone was getting closer. He was monitoring his friends progress giving them pointers when they needed it.

Tsuna heard Mic talk about not seeing him to which he found very amusing.

"Hey Eraser amy idea where Tsunayoshi is?" Mic asked.

"Who knows, he could be finished already since he is the fastest in his class," Aizawa answered. The camera and the crowd looked at the finish line but saw no one. Tsuna felt each stare but made no move to show himself. Soon enough everyone turned their attention towards the ones still running the race. Izuku, Shouto and Bakugou were near the end of the course. Tsuna yawned a bit and lowered the illusion and walked out of the tunnel. Mic freaked out when he saw Tsuna casually standing against the wall. The crowd took a moment before they erupted into cheers. Tsuna ignored the cheers in favor of scanning the crowd since he could feel a familiar flame signature. Moments later he spotted a compass eyed red head and Tsuna's demeanor changed to one of happiness. He hadnt seen the red head in almost a year.

After a moment Izuku came out of the tunnel followed by Shouto and Bakugou. After those three Hayato and Takeshi came out of the tunnel having worked together to get through the mine field. From there others slowly exited the tunnel until the spots for the next round were full. Once that happened it was tine for Midnight to explain the rules of that round. The round was a team with four people the rider was not allowed to touch the ground. The four were to protect the points the rider has on a headband around their neck and forehead. Also everyone will be going after Tsuna since he had the most points. Hayato  and Takeshi immediately teamed up with Tsuna but they needed one more person.

While Tsuna, Hayato and Takeshi were coming up with a plan a girl with vines for hair came up to them asking to be part of their team. The three agreed and told her the plan. Soon enough all the teams were made and the riders chosen. The girl, Shiozaki, was the rider for the Vongola group. She looked scared but Tsuna talked her through the plan. At the start if the round both Tsuna and Hayato used their mist flames to hide the four of them. The crowd and Mic were shocked to see them disappear in thin air. The other teams looked for the group while stealing points of their own. Suddenly the four appeared out of nowhere next to a different group and steal their points they had collected before disappearing again.
