I open my eyes and the sun is beaming down on my face. I sit up and look out the window. We were almost there and I see a sign up ahead. Welcome to Paradise, Ohio. I look at Dad and he doesn't seem tired at all. I smile and pull out my phone and earbuds. I put my earbuds in my ears and start the music and sing along to it.

I just nod my head to the other songs as the buildings start to come up. One of the most famous guardian cities. I sigh and watch different people pass by. They didn't have their weapons with them at all times. Dad pulls up to a big house which I believe is two stories high. I get out of the Ferrari and open the trunk. I take out my suitcases and follow dad into the house. It was completely furnished and decorated. I walk up the stairs. "Which one is my room?" I look at the two doors. "The first one to the right!" I open the door and put my suitcase on the bed. Lightning and Silver walk in and they jump on the bed. Nice place. I chuckle and open my suitcase. I put everything where it belongs and put my suitcase under my bed. I should decorate this place. I sigh and go downstairs. Dad was unpacking all the other stuff and I help him put the plates away in the kitchen.

As I am putting the glass cups away, there is a knock on the door. I put the rest of the cups on the table and pull on my hood. I open the door and see six people. Two boys and four girls. "Hello, you must be new in town." I smile and nod. "Yes, my name is Four Cullen." I see the boys look at the Ferrari. "I'm Karyn Talley. I'm in the potion field. I live next door." Sh holds out her hand and I shake it. She had black hair and brown eyes. "I'm Estelle Baldwin. I'm in the spear field. I live across the street." I shake her hand and she had blonde hair and green eyes. Then another girl with long black hair and black eyes. "I'm Nelda Tran. I'm in the bow field. I live on your left side." I nod and shake her hand. Another girl comes up to me. She had blue hair and blue eyes to match. "I'm Thelma Castro. I'm in the shield field. I live to the right of Estelle." I nod and shake her hand. "Nolan! Galen!" They look away from my car and come up to me. The guy named Nolan comes up to me and his hair was pink as salamander and his eyes were gray. "I'm Nolan Jenkins. I'm in the magic field. I live to the right of Estelle." I nod and shake his hand. Then the guy named Galen comes up to me. He had black hair and blue eyes. "I'm Galen Sullivan. I'm in the hammer field. I live next to Nolan." I shake his hand and they all look at me as they are expecting something. "I'm in the sword field." They all smile. I raise an eyebrow and chuckle. "Dad we have visitors!" Dad's head pops out and smiles at them. "Just a minute." I hear something clatter and crash. I wince at the sound and Dad comes around the corner. "Hello, I'm Lucifer Cullen. Nice to meet all of you. "I'm Four's dad." I smile and look back at the room where dad could have broken something. "I'll be right back." I leave the room and enter and I see nothing is broken. "Hmmm..." I look around the room and there is nothing broken. I come back and they are outside looking at the Ferrari. I smile and walk outside. "Hey Four why don't you go with them to the market. I'm sure that you could know the neighborhood." I sigh and nod. Sensei did say that friends are the most important thing when it comes to fighting and trust.

We are walking on the sidewalk and they were all talking about going to Avalon tomorrow. "Hey Four what about you?" I snap out of my thoughts and look at them. "I'm sorry what?" I look at them. "Are you going to Truth's concert tomorrow. You could come with us." I shake my head. "I don't go to his concerts." But the real thing was, I was Truth. The world's famous popstar and idol who was the first ever celebrity to be known all throughout the world. They all look at me sadly and I chuckle. "Don't worry. You are all going to see a big surprise." Dad and I talked about me and Truth being there at the same time, but one was going to be a shadow clone and the other was going to be the real me. "I really wish that you could come." I shrug and I hear a lot of noise. I look up and see the market.

Tents were set up everywhere and there were people selling all types of items. We walk around and there was a rap battle. They end up with the guy with the gold chains and the hat. "Who wants to go up next against Bling!!" I look up and smile. "You should do it Four. This guy wants to do it!" The spokesperson looks at me and I walk up there. I turn around and mouth You all are dead after this. But I knew they couldn't see me do it. The guy hands me a microphone and Bling looks at me. He laughs. "Aw... a bum." I am shocked at first, but then it turns into anger. "You have no right to call me a bum." The crowd oohs and Bling sneakers. "Hey old rat, let's get to it." The beat starts and he starts to rap first.

He turns around and looks at us then smiles when he sees me. "Hello everyone. You are all going to Avalon Academy correct. I hope Nolan and Four get me." He looks at me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Do you guys know each other?" Mr. Lyon nods and he looks at my jean pocket. "You still have it." I take out my pen and it turns into a staff and at the head was a golden lion head. They are all shocked and Mr. Lyons smiles and hugs me. "You are my student that I taught with your sensei 3 years ago." I laugh and he nods and leaves. I pull the staff back into a pen and put it into my pocket. I turn to face my friends, but they are looking at me weirdly. "What?" Estelle raises an eyebrow at me. "Do you know how to do magic even though you can wield a sword?" I nod. They were confused. "Mr. Lyons used to teach me magic for a year and I mastered it. It was pretty easy." I smile and we continue through the market. I buy lots of stuff like food for my father when I get back home. I buy my friends tickets for the party even though they insisted that they would pay for it, but I still did it. Then at 9:30 P.M. I leave them and go back home.

I open the door to my house and Dad is on the couch sleeping. I sigh and take off my cloak. I hand it on the door and pick up dad bridal style. He hugs me and I take him into his room, which was already decorated. I place him on the bed and tuck him in. I see a tear roll down his cheek and I look at him sadly. Whatever he was dreaming about it must be sad. I kiss him on the head and quietly leave the room. I go into the restroom and turn on the shower. I take off my clothes and I smile at the day that I had. I have new friends to start out my life at Avalon. I look at my scars and all I remember is getting hit by a car. I shake my head and get into the shower. I was another step closer to finding my parents. All I needed to do was graduate and go out into the world trying to find my parents. I finish taking a shower and wrap a towel around my torso. I walk out of the bathroom and into my room. Silver and Lightning were on their beds and they were fast asleep. How do they sleep all day? I shake my head and get into bed. Tomorrow was going to be fun. I think back to where we saw Allen Lyons. Wait he said that he wishes that Nolan and I were in his class, then that means that Allen is a teacher at Avalon. I chuckle and turn around to face the wall. Tomorrow was going to be interesting. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
