(BTW: italiacs means that Four is talking in his head)

I open my eyes and sit up. My breathing was heavy and I was sweating. What dream did I have? I shake my head and pull off my blanket. I sit on the edge of my bed and put my head in my hands. I get up and pace around the room. I look at Lighting and Silver who are my best friends in the world, but they are a lion and a dragon. They were still asleep and I didn't want to wake them up. I carefully open my door and close it behind me. I walk into the bathroom and turn on the shower. I take off my clothing and look in the mirror. I am Four Matthews. I am the son of Donna and Lance Matthews. I don't know where my parents were, but I dedicated my whole life to finding them.

I have a new family even if my parents are gone. They are my foster dad, Sensei, Angel, P, Lightning, and Silver. My foster dad took care of my in my parent's place. His name is Lucifer Cullen. Sensei used to work right under the Guardian King, but he never says what job he had. Angel, P, and I are famous throughout the world, but Angel and P use their real names and I remain a secret to the world only known as Truth. I look in the mirror and I see my three necklaces resting on my chest. One was a pendant with weird symbols on it and that was the one that my parents gave to me before they left. The other one is a black dragon biting its tail in order to make a circle. This could be a ring, but I already have on on my right middle finger and it's white. The last one is music note because Angel, Sensei, and P bought me this on my birthday.

On my hand I have my three rings and one of them I already told about. The one on my middle finger was the one that my father gave to me. It was a gold ring, but it had weird symbols on it. It was unreadable by me and I can speak any language. Then the third ring is a diamond ring from which my foster dad gave to me. Everything that anyone gave me was special to me. I look in the mirror and it has already fogged up. I get into the shower and wet my hair. My hair was blonde, but it was brighter than any blonde. It was like liquid gold or like other people would say. My eyes were two different colors. The left one was as blue as the sky and it was calming. The right one was as red as crimson blood and it was unnerving.

Anyone could say that I was weird, but people didn't see me as that way. Instead I would make people just follow me. I hold my head under the water and look up to the ceiling. It was white without any stains. It was pure unlike me. Sometimes I didn't know who I was or what I stood for. I turn off the water and get out. I dry myself off with the towel and wrap it around my torso. I walk carefully into my room and Lightning and Silver are still sleeping. I carefully get dressed in only my boxers and ripped jeans. I get my katana, Dawnbreaker, which was given to me by my mom when she left me behind. I tie it on my belt hole and it falls to my side. I sigh and walk out of the room.

I get my watch from the case in the kitchen and put it on. Today was November 2, 2741. My last day here at Sensei's place. My training as a Guardian here was almost over. I was sad, but I already knew that someday I would be back. Tomorrow was Monday and today was Sunday. Tomorrow was school. I open the fridge and try to see what to make. I pull out a big steak that was meant for Lightning or Silver, but I was hungry so I want to cook it. I slide open the glass door and go to the grill. I turn it on and start to cook the meat. People said that I was a good cook, but I really didn't think that. I graduated from the hardest cooking high school in the world, Tōtsuki Culinary Academy. I finish cooking the meat and go inside and start to eat.

"Good Morning, Four." I turn my head in the direction of the voice and I see Sensei. He had blue hair and yellow eyes. He was young, I think Sensei was in his late 20s. "Good morning Sensei. What will my lesson be today?" Sensei smiles sadly as he doesn't want me to go. I smiled at him and finished my plate of steak. "Don't worry Sensei, I can take care of myself!" I try to cheer him up and it works. Sensei chuckles and looks at me. "Follow me." He walks outside and I follow him outside. It was snow everywhere, but I wasn't cold at all. I wasn't even wearing a shirt. Sensei didn't seem cold at all either.

We walk up the mountains and yes we live in the Himalayas. But we were all used to it. It wasn't hard living up here since there was a village down south from here. Everyone knew our names, but they always kept us a secret. "Four, do you know who made our worlds? Heaven, Hell, and Earth." I would say God, but Sensei already told me many times that, the bible was a lie. "No Sensei I do not. I would rather learn than lie." Sensei nods and smiles sadly. "Long ago, before God, Satan, and Mother Nature. There were two people. Their names were Cornelius and Damon. Damon was Darkness and Cornelius was Light. They both knew each other, but they soon had a big fight between their worlds. Cornelius ended up killing himself to free Damon from any terror, but from Cornelius's last words, he told Damon of a prophecy." A prophecy. Why would it have to be a prophecy?

Sensei continues his story. "It was about a boy that would be born, but this boy would be the creator of darkness and light, but also work in harmony. He would be born for evil, but he would learn how to care for the world at young age. Cornelius was about to tell the boy's name, but he died. Damon was sad, but created the Guardians under Cornelius letter he had found in Cornelius's room." What did this story have to do with the world? "You see Four. Cornelius created everything that we stood on. And from Cornelius's footsteps, he created a nation. But then decades later, the world's biggest bet was made." Why is a bet important now?! I look up and we are still walking higher up the mountain.

"The bet was between God, Satan, Mother Nature, and a human. This human knew about the three rulers not getting along together. This human also knew the secrets of the world, knowing that they were created to work together. So the human made a bet with God, Satan, and Mother Nature. They would each have a child and they would all grow up with each other under the human's care. They would not know that they had powers of the three rulers, but they would be sealed away. So they each had a child. Satan had a son. God had a son. Mother Nature had a daughter. But something was off. God's and Mother Nature's children were just fine, but Satan's child was different. Instead of just the home of having the power of Hell, the child was born with the power of pure Darkness and the power of pure Light. The child should have been dead, but he survived and lived on." We stop in front of pure ice with no snow over it. Sensei looks at me and smiles.

"Sensei, was that human Damon?" I see his smile falter, but then recovers quickly. Sesei shakes his head at me. "No Gakusei*. I don't know for it was a long time ago. But then moving forward, the human took care of the children until they were 16 years old. By the time that they turned 16 they could each hate each other or treat each other as siblings. When they turned 16, the human had won the bet and he had to grant one wish. The human still hasn't decided on what wish he had wanted to gran, but I can tell you Four, that he still hasn't made his wish. But Four the place I am about to show you is one of importance and sanctity. It is a very sacred place for Cornelius. Our house used to be Cornelius's and Damon's home. This is the place that Cornelius was buried by Damon." I nod and Sensei waves his hand over the ice. The ice melts and reveals a beautiful meadow.

I blink and walk in. It was beautiful. There was a tree and animals. A bunny comes up to me and I kneel down. I let the bunny come to me and ever so slowly the bunny creeps it's way to me. It puts its head under my hand and I gently pet it. Its fur was soft and fluffy. "You are a good bunny aren't you. This place is like a haven for prey huh?" The nose twitches and I pick it up. I put the bunny on my head and it stays there. I stand up and it jumps from my head into my arms. I walk further into the meadow and see 8 statues. They were dragon heads and perfectly made. "Okay my friend, you must go back to your family now. I take out a carrot from my pocket, I don't know why I had a carrot in my pocket, and give it to the bunny. The bunny licks me on my hand and runs away.

I turn to face the statues. It was in a perfect circle, and I stood in the middle. Then their eyes turn different colors. Red, Purple, White, light Blue, green, gray, black, and yellow. They were alive. "Who disturbs our slumber?" I straighten my back and look at the red dragon who just spoke. "My name is Four Matthews. Son of Donna and Lance Matthews." I hear murmuring across the dragon statues, but it was ever so silent. "Four." I look to the one with light blue eyes. "In order to leave, you must show us something that we have never seen before in our lives." I look around the dragons, but what could I do that was something that they have never seen before. Dragons are still real, but the all hide away from Humans. I know something that will knock them off, but then I look into the white dragon's eyes and I see one word. It said: Truth. They wanted the truth and I was going to give it to them.

I take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Then I start to sing this:

By the time I am done, I am out of breath and look at the dragon statues. I could see the kindness in their eyes. I straighten my back and look at the proudly. The one with red eyes starts talking. "Four we shall all introduce ourselves to you. I am Askook the elder fire dragon. King of Fire and the dragon race" That name seems familiar. The one with light blue eyes starts to talk. "I am Rthyin the elder air dragon. Queen of the skies." The one with yellow eyes speaks. "I am Verath the elder electric dragon. King of Electricity." The purple eyes speaks. "I am Slytha the elder snake dragon. Queen of Poison." The one with white eyes speaks next. "I am Taenth the elder light dragon. King of Light." The one with gray eyes speaks up. "I am Bessonth the elder metal dragon. King of Metal." The one with green eyes starts to speak. "I am Jevrath the elder chaos dragon. Queen of Chaos." The last one speaks up. "I am Stiria the elder darkness dragon. King of Darkness." I shake my head as a clouded memory comes to life.

I see a red dragon, blue dragon, yellow dragon, green dragon, black dragon, white dragon, purple dragon, and gray dragon. I look at them and I remember. "Hello my family. It is great to see you all again." They all cheer and they knew all along that I was going to surprise them. "Four we haven't seen you in a while. We have all missed you so much. We have something to give you which no one has ever gotten until now." I look at everyone and I see the love that they all have for me. I see their mouths open and different color liquids flow out. The liquids form together and rushes towards me. It crawls up my leg as it scares me of what it is going to do. My world turns black as I go numb. It felt like I was about to explode, but I felt as if I had to keep it in. I hold it in and the pain goes away.

I open my eyes and I'm in my room. My body felt sore as I was sitting up on my bed. I look at my bed stand and I see a black and white scarf. I pick it up and I hold it in my hands. It was soft, but strong. I see my name on the end of it written out in gold. I wrap it around my neck and I feel the warmth of the dragons. I see a note also and I open it. It says:

Four I want you to meet me in the Meditation room

Sensei wanted to meet me in the mediation room. I walk out of my room and I look at Lightning and Silver's bed. They weren't there. I wonder where they were. I walk out of my room and walk down the hallway. Sensei said that this house belonged to both Damon and Carnelius. Sensei said that Damon was still alive and looking for that boy that would choose to save the world. If I was that boy, I think I'll save the world, but what I believe as weird is that even if the world is mean it me, I'll still save it. I slide open the door to the meditation room and come in. "Sorry for the intrusion." I enter and take off my shoes. Sensei is looking towards the altar which is meant for the three rulers, Satan, God, and Mother Nature. I sit on my knees and wait.

"Four, you have grown than that immature child that you were all those 5 years ago. I am so proud of you." Sensei turns around and smiles. I straighten my back and smile. I remember that I was a really bad trouble maker. "But now you must leave me to find your own path in the world, but I will always be by your side even if I am far away to help you." I smile and bow my head.

Sensei was always with me and I could always depend on him. "Thank You so much for putting up with me all the time." I look back up at him. Sensei was facing me and smiling. He touches my head and I feel a warmth go throughout my whole body. "I have some things to give you before you leave. This is what your mother left for you." He hands me a sword and to be more detailed, it was a katana. I open is and the blade shone in the light. It was the color of diamonds. On the side, there was a name inscribed. It said: Spirit. I smile and sheathe the blade. I lay it carefully next to me.

Sensei takes out another thing. It was a satchel and it was pure black leather. I take it and open it. I couldn't see anything inside. I put my hand inside expecting my hand hit the bottom, but it doesn't. I look at Sensei with an amazed look. "It is called the bag of the bottomless hole. It can only listen to the master that it chooses. And I believe, I put your watch in there. Can you get it out?" I look at Sensei and he has a dangerous look in his eye. I smile and put my hand inside of the bag. My Rolex Watch is inside of here. Please give it to me! Then I feel something cold on my hand. I pull out my hand and my Rolex watch is there. I sigh and put it back on. "Interesting. Now that bag will only give you the things you put inside of it and you have to ask for it in your mind." I put it next to my mom's katana.

I smile and look at Sensei and give him my dangerous look. Sensei chuckles and pulls out another thing. It was a tattered black cloak, but it had a jewel on the pin where it make the hood. "This is what you shall be wearing until you turn into a second year at Avalon Academy. Do not take it off unless you are at home or no one is around. Promise me that Four." I nod and Sensei looks like he had a weight taken off on his shoulders. I put the cloak on and I feel nothing different. "It is called the cloak of the hidden. It hides the wearer's face and until you take it off." Sensei hands me a mirror and I take it. I look into it and I can't see my face. I take off my hood and my face becomes visible again. "Cool." Sensei smiles and stands up. I stand up with him and Sensei bows to me. "You may have surpassed me, but there is still more to learn from this world." I smile and Sensei looks up at me. "No, Sensei. If it wasn't for you, I would have hated the world." Sensei smiles and I pick up my stuff. I leave the room and go into my own room.

I sigh and open the door. Then I am tackled to the ground by Lightning and Silver. I laugh and they both lick my face. I get up and Lightning and Silver sit on the floor. I smile and pet them both. So Four what are we going to do now? Silver was talking in my head. We are going to pack up because you know we are leaving for Paradise, Ohio. We are going to learn at Avalon Academy. Silver climbs onto my bed as I pull out my suitcase. I place it on the bed and Lightning jumps onto my bed. I shall become stronger to fight by your side! I look at Lightning and he sits up looking proudly. I shake my head and chuckle. I pet him on the head. You are already strong enough to fight by my side. You too, Silver. I pack up all my clothes and I tie Spirit at my side where my jean belt loop is. I close it and zip it up. You guys should go and say goodbye to Angel, P, and Sensei. They run off out the door and I close it behind them. Then I lock the door.

I kneel and take out a floor board. I pull out a big wooden chest. Memories from back then. I open my drawer and take out the wooden bottom. I pull out the key and rest the board back again. I stick the key inside and inhale sharply. I turn the key and slowly open it. I sigh and look at all the stuff that I used to have. I take out a black and white scarf and on the side imprinted in gold is my name. I stuff it into my satchel and pick up something else. I take out a pen and it grows into a staff. I smile and make it grow back into a pen. I stuff it inside of my pocket. I take out my hidden blade and put it on my arm. It had poison darts inside and regular darts that could kill anyone. I take out another thing and it's sunglasses. I put them on and they process everything around the room. I smile sadly. My dad loved to invent and this was one of his inventions. Then I take a mini shield. I put it on my arm, over the hidden blade. I then take out a big torn up leather book. It had papers sticking out of it. It was a potion book for the people who were beyond advanced in potion making. I put it into my satchel. I take out a white belt. It was made out of leather and it would triple my strength. I laugh and put it on. I should only turn it on when I need to. The I take out the last thing. I take out a pin and I fill it with happy thoughts. I stand up and the pin grows into a golden spear with the sharpest metal and decorated with the rarest jewels.

I make it back into a pin and then I pin it to my shirt. Then I hear a honk outside. I open the blinds and I see my foster dad in the front seat of a bright red Ferrari. I smile and unlocky my door. I put the wooden box back and stuff the key into my drawer. I put on my hood and put on the satchel. Then I put the suitcase on the ground. I open my door and leave. I go through the front door and put on my shoes. I walk into the snow and under my cloak, I wasn't wearing a shirt. I walk to the car and Dad pops open the trunk. I put my suitcase inside and close it. I walk to the passenger door and I see Lightning and Silver are already in the car waiting for me. You sly animals. I smile and Silver looks at me. Actually a dragon and a lion. I smile and I look at the house. Angel and P are waiting for me. Angel had light brown hair and green eyes. P had dirty blonde hair, but all blue eyes. I smile and walk towards them.

"Hey guys. I guess I'll see you later." I chuckle and P and Angel smile. "Don't worry Four, we'll be there and we will be first years with you when we turn sixteen." Angel hugs me and then lets go. I look at P and he smiles. "Wherever you are..." I smile and sing with his terrible voice. "Whatever you need, I will be right here waiting for you." We laugh and hug. The P punches me in the shoulder. "Don't forget us." I shake my head. "No, don't forget me." I smile and I see Sensei walk up to me. He is a bit smaller than me, but he can manage. "Take care Four. I shall come from time to time. There shall be people you will met. But the main three teachers at Avalon, you may show your face to them. Even the principal." I nod and leave them. I walk back to the car. I wave from the passenger window and they wave back. I smile and look at dad. "Ready kiddo?" Dad's rough voice echos through my ear. I laugh then I nod. Then he drives off and in the rearview mirror the house disappears slowly. I was gone and off to my new journey.
