Hades' POV:

I'm sitting by the banks of the Styx river currently thinking about a recently escaped soul. I sigh and rub my face 'How is this soul so good at running away? It's like she trained to track down animals and chase after them for miles at a time...' I think to myself as I feel the Styx river pulse slightly.

"Huh?" I say as I kneel down next to the river and I notice its murky waters slowly becoming clearer.

Surprised at the sudden change in the river I keep watching it as it pulses with power and becomes clearer. I smile as I can check one thing off of my mile-long to-do list.

'Well, back to tracking down that escaped soul' I think to myself as I start walking down the newly empowered river.

Percy's POV:

I pull Styx into another hug before she puts her hand on my shoulder and I glow slightly for a moment. When the glow fades away I look at Styx.

"I gave you my blessing, you now can control the flow of my river, with my permission of course." Styx says and I smile

"Thanks, mom. But I should get going. I have a place where I think I can stay and hopefully live there." I say and Styx nods

"Alright, make sure you come and visit or have the river run by your place!" Styx says

"Sure, thing mom!" I say as I swim to the top of the river and climb out I look around and I start walking towards my destination

(Time skip a few hours/days)

I walk into a swamp and I smile when I notice the Hut that Damasen used to live in. I walk up to the hut and I notice a man standing inside of it. I pull out riptide and uncap it, I also activate the shield and I take a defensive stance.

"Who's there!?" I shout and the man turns around and my blood turns cold

Standing in Damasen's house was Tartarus himself. The primordial wore a black suit with what looked like souls in it, his eyes were completely black as he stared at me with an emotionless mask on his face.

"Well, if it isn't Perseus Jackson" Tartarus says with a slight tone of amusement "What brings you back to my domain?"

I look at Tartarus with complete confusion. 'Why isn't he trying to kill me? Why is there a growing smirk on his face! Why is he at Damasen's hut!!!' I thought to myself as I stayed quiet.

"I guess you're surprised that I'm here at my son's hut. Well, I come here from time to time to remind myself of when he stood against me to help you and that girl escape my domain. While he refused to fight in the war with his brothers he did make me proud at the way he fought alongside that drakon." Tartarus said and I lowered my shield slightly

"He was a good person with a good heart." I say and Tartarus nods

"I agree with you there. But there is another thing. The reason I'm here right now is so I can thank you. When you helped clean the Styx of its pollution, it helped clear my mind of everything." Tartarus said before waving his hand and a box appeared in his hands "This is a set of clothes I had created for you, as well as some more weapons. This is a gift of my thanks for helping clear up my maddening headache" He hands me the box before he waves his hand again and a small kitten appears in his hand.

The kitten jumps down onto the ground before running at me and jumping onto my shoulder. I realize with a start that the kitten is the same one from my first visit here.

"Yes, this is the kitten named 'Small Bob' if I'm not mistaken. Your Friends Bob and Damasen, are still reforming, but I'll make sure they still remember you Perseus. Consider this a 'welcome to my humble abode' gift" Tartarus says with a smile "And yes, I know of the Olympian's betrayal. So, you don't need to tell me that story. Until next time Perseus" Tartarus said as he flashed away

I walk into the Hut with Small Bob on my shoulder, I set the box down on a table before walking back outside. Once outside I close my eyes and let my senses expand until I find what I'm looking for, I focus on my mom's river and I pull it towards me. After a few minutes, I hear the rushing of water close by and when I open my eyes, I see the River Styx flowing past the Hut. I look at the river and I see Styx floating above it with a smile on her face. I pull Styx into another hug before I pull back and walk into the hut.

'I wonder why Tartarus decided to give me this stuff' I think to myself as I walk to the table with the box

I open the box hesitantly, half expecting it to contain pit scorpions. However, when I look inside I see a pair of black leather and stygian iron vambraces lying on top of neatly folded black clothes. I take the vambraces out and I put them to the side, then I take out the clothes and lay them on the table. I hear someone walk into the hut and I glace at them and I see Styx.

"Well, it looks like you got a new change of clothes Percy." Styx says as she looks at the clothes Tartarus dropped off

"Yeah, apparently, I helped him with his headache and he actually seems like a really nice guy" I said while looking at the vambraces

"Well, what are you waiting for? Get out of those dirty clothes and into your new ones! You may be stuck here in Tartarus but that doesn't mean you can't wear clean clothes!" Styx said in a motherly tone

"Fine mom..." I sigh and grab the clothes and I walk to a room and change

After a few minutes, I walk out and I see Tartarus talking with Styx. The moment they see me Tartarus turns to me and smiles.

"Ah, Percy, how do you like the robes?" Tartarus asks and I smile slightly

"They're comfortable and they fit me perfectly. But I was wondering what the vambraces were for..." I say and Tartarus' smile gets a little wider

"Well, I was wondering if you could do me a few favors. You see, as a primordial, I am bound by the ancient laws, so while this is my domain there are a few things that I am unable to take action in. One of those things is searching for escaped souls. Yes, I'm sure your confused, but hear me out. Recently, you mother here has overheard Hades complaining about an escaped soul." Tartarus says as I listen earnestly "Not long ago, I felt a few strong entities enter my domain, and I'm forbidden by the Ancient laws to interfere with what they are doing. You, on the other hand, are free of the Ancient laws."

I look at Tartarus for a moment before nodding slightly.

"That still doesn't explain why I need the vambraces..." I say as I walk over and pick the vambraces up

"The vambraces are so the monsters of my domain don't know who you are. Because once you bring riptide out, every monster will track you down and try and kill you" Tartarus explained and I nodded as I put them on "vambraces themselves are made out of a black leather and Stygian iron, whereas the hidden blades are made out of Celestial bronze, Imperial gold, Orthytic silver, Stygian iron alloy and they both have a steel core if you need to use them on mortals. They are indestructible due to the four godly metals reinforcing each other."

I test the hidden blades and I notice that they were as black as Stygian iron. I smile and I sheathe the blades before looking at Tartarus.

"Where do you want me to start looking?" I say and Tartarus and Styx both smile

'New life, here I am' I think to myself as they both explain to me what they know.

(Time Skip 300 Tartarus Years or 30 Earth Years)

Third Person (On Olympus)

The throne room was silent as an Iris message displayed two demigods, one male and the other female. They were currently drinking from the Phlegethon river, when they were surrounded by a group of empousai. Athena looked at the Iris message with fear in her eye as she watched the boy put the girl behind him. Ares looked at the Iris message with a proud look in his eye as he saw his son wanting to fight to his last breath.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Two Demigods that wish to find the doors of death to escape the pit to return to their precious little camp to try and save it?" an Empousai said as the boy took a defensive stance

"What are you talking about monster? Camp is the most defended place on the planet!" The boy says as the Empousai laughed

"You really think that, half-breed? Your camp will fall as will Olympus! Ever since your gods betrayed their hero, my mistress has been raising an army, and army that will crush the gods under foot" the Empousai said and most of the gods in the throne room gasped

Ares glared at Zeus who looked shocked that there was another war coming. Hestia glared at Poseidon who looked incredibly weak as if his domain was fighting him. After a moment of intense tension in the throne room Hera pointed at the iris message again and everyone turned to continue watching it.

"Olympus will prevail! Just like it always has!" The boy said as he tightened up his stance

"Then I guess you two will be the first blood spilt of the new war!" The empousai snarls as the rest slowly start creeping forward

The lead Empousai lunges at the boy and before he has a chance to deflect the attack a hooded figure drops from above and lands on the lunging monster turning it to a fine golden dust. The figure stands up and looks at the remaining empousai before holding its hands out to the side causing two pitch black hidden blades to extend from its vambraces.

"W-Who... A-A-Are you??" the girl asks as the boy keeps his stance

The figure, who's face is completely hidden by their hood, doesn't respond as he charges the remaining Empousai. The figure stabs one causing it to turn into dust before whirling around to deflect a swipe from another monster's claws. At that instant, the Iris message gets blurry before dissolving.

"What happened!!!?" Athena cried out as she gripped her throne

"I believe the Iris message just cut out while your daughter and Ares' son were being attacked by Empousai" Hermes said

"Yes, I get that but who was that hooded figure that just appeared out of nowhere??" Athena exclaims as Ares looks contemplative

Zeus clears his throat and gather's everyone's attention.

"I believe we have more important matters at hand. we need to prepare the camps for war... If what we heard is the truth, were going to have to fight tooth and nail to preserve Olympus!" Zeus says as Artemis glares at him

"And how do you expect us to win? You heard what that monster said! We are going to lose because you betrayed our hero!" Artemis said as Zeus glared at her

"We do not need him to survive, and if we do, we can just issue a quest to go and bring him out!" Zeus growled out

"Right, and because we haven't heard anything from him, we should just assume that he is still loyal to Olympus? He could be dead for all we know! Yes, he is immortal but being Immortal doesn't prevent one from being able to die!" Apollo snarled at Zeus causing the king of the gods to flinch slightly

"You just doomed Olympus Zeus. Congratulations" Hermes says sarcastically

Percy's POV:

After slicing through the group of Empousai, I look at the two demigods in front of me as my hidden blades retract back into their sheathes. As I look them over I notice small details, the boy has brown hair and brown eyes, he looks bulky and has an aura of anger around him, I instantly knew that he was a child of Ares. I then turn my attention to the girl, she had dirty blond hair with grey eyes, and an aura of knowledge surrounds her. I scowl under my hood as the boy looks at me warily and the girl tries to analyze me. After a minute of silence the girl steps out from behind the boy and glares at me.

"Who are you?" She asks and I deepen my scowl

"My name is unimportant, wisdom spawn." I say venomously "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a job to do." I start walking away when the girl runs in front of me and blocks my path

"My name is Tracy, and that is my boyfriend Ron. He's a son of..." I cut her off by holding up my hand

"He's a son of Ares, yes I figured that out already. Also, if you looking for the way out it's that way" I say while pointing down river.

Ron looks at me before sighing and putting away his weapon.

"Sir, who are you? And why are you in Tartarus?" Ron asks and I look at him

"Like I said, my name is unimportant, however the reason why I am in Tartarus is simple. I live here. I've lived here for the past 300 years." I say simply before walking away again

"Well, if you live here, do you think you could help us get out?" Tracy asks and I turn and glare at her

"And why would I do that? What have you done for me that would make me want to help you?" I say in an emotionless tone

Tracy looks at me with pleading eyes, that have no effect on me. I then turn to Ron and see him looking at Tracy with a look of sadness. I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Fine, but both of you must make me a couple of promises." I say and they both nod "First one, when you get out of here, you two must swear never to speak of who helped you. You may say that a hooded figure helped you, but that is all you know. Second, I heard there was a giant war not too long ago and I would like to know what happened. Can you get information on the seven of the prophecy as well as their friends? When you get the information, go to the underworld and drop the letter into the River Styx. And finally, when you get out of here... say hello to the stars for me."

When I finish talking they both look at me incredulously before Ron nods and takes a step forward.

"I swear on the River Styx to do the tasks that I have been asked to do" Ron says as thunder echoes throughout Tartarus

Tracy repeats the oath and I nod as I start walking down the Phlegethon with both demigods jogging to until they were on either side of me. After a few minutes I let out a loud taxi cab whistle which is quickly followed by a full grown saber tooth tiger. Ron pulls out his sword and faces Small Bob as I hold my arm out. Small Bob jumps and shrinks down into a small tabby cat as he lands on my arm before climbing onto my shoulder. Tracy looks at the small cat with confusion in her eyes. I inwardly chuckle before continuing to walk down river, Tracy and Ron following in stride.

"Why is there a Saber Tooth tiger that can shrink down to a tabby cat in Tartarus?" Tracy asks

"Why does Athena think she knows everything?" I counter which causes Ron to stifle a laugh

Tracy stares at me as we continue to walk. After a few minutes of an awkward silence Ron clears his throat, I look at him and see him looking at my outfit.

"Where did you get that outfit...?" Ron trails off indicating that he doesn't know what to call me

"Shadow, you can call me Shadow" I respond and Ron nods

"What's your real name Shadow?" Tracy asks and I turn and glare at her

"That is my name, Wisdom Spawn. And last time I checked I'm your only hope of getting out of her in once piece, so I suggest that you swallow your pride and instead of trying to figure things out immediately you wait and make sure you have more information." I say as we leave the banks of the Phlegethon

After we leave the river, Ron and Tracy fall back behind me and I hear them whispering quietly to each other. This goes on for a few hours until we reach an out of place shrine, I smile as I remember my first time visiting this shrine.

"What is this doing in Tartarus?" I hear Tracy asks as I walk up to where a pile of food is located

"We will rest here, so you two can regain some energy" I say as I motion them towards the food "Eat up, it might be a while before you can eat again" They both nod before walking up to the food and distributing it evenly among themselves

I sit down in a meditative position and stretch out my senses to make sure no monsters try to sneak up on us. I'm snapped out of my concentration when I hear Small Bob growl slightly, I open my eyes and I see Tracy and Ron sitting in front of me.

"Hey, Shadow... I would like to apologize for acting the way I did earlier. It's just... I didn't expect to see anyone else in this infernal pit of damnation..." Tracy said and I smile under my hood

"Apology accepted Tracy, now both of you eat up, we have a long journey ahead" I say and they push a bit of food towards me

"We can't have our guide going hungry... and besides, it's the least we can do" Ron says and I shake my head

"You don't need to worry about me, I have survived this long" I say and they nod and start eating

After they finish they stand up and look at me. I get up, stretch and pet small bob on the head.

"You two ready for the final leg of the journey? The doors of death, while no longer held down, are not too far away but when you get out, remember your oaths. Also, if you two need a ride back to where ever you came from, Let out a whistle like I did not too long ago, a friend of mine should come by and if he questions who you two are, tell him that his 'boss' will give him a dozen donuts if he helps you two." I say and both Ron and Tracy looks at me confused but soon shrug their shoulders

We start walking and we reach the doors of death without any complications. I walk to the doors and they open before I usher Ron and Tracy in.

"I guess this is where we part ways. Ron, Tracy, I wish you both the best of luck in the upcoming war" I say

"Why don't you come with us? You could help us win you would be seen as a hero!" Tracy says and I shake my head

"I wish to live my life in peace if you don't mind. But I will give you some information, the gods, while they may seem thankful the more you do the more they see you as a threat. If you two are offered immortality, stick by each other and take it. Goodbye." I say finally as I press the up button and the doors close

I keep my finger on the button as the doors shutter. After a few minutes, I take my finger off the button and the doors disappear, I smile knowing that the two demigods made it safely back to the over world. I turn around and look at Small Bob, who jumped off my shoulder and onto the ground while growing into his full-grown form. He starts sniffing the ground before looking at me.

"You found something? Is it the soul were looking for?" I ask and Small Bob nods slightly "Well then lead the way!"

Small Bob races into the distance with me right behind him. After a few minutes at a full sprint with my enhanced speed, Small Bob stopped at the edge of a cliff. I kneeled and tightened the laces on my boots as I caught my breath. After I tightened my boots I looked over the edge and I saw two titans standing over a girl wearing ripped sliver clothing. I look at Small Bob who shrinks down and jumps onto my shoulder after I pull my bow off my back. I draw the string back silently and an arrow appears, I then take the arrow out and I listen in on the conversation the two titans are having.

"You led us on quite the chase bitch, but now that we've finally caught you. We're going to go through a list to see what you've lost over your life." A titan with a fiery spear, which I recognized as Hyperion, said

"Then, we will see what you still have so we can take that from you" The other Titan that I recognized as Krios from my first trip to Tartarus, said

"I have lost everything! What more can I lose?" the girl said hysterically

"Well, let's see. You lost your family, Friends, sisters in arms, you lost your bow, your quiver, and even your life" Hyperion listed off before he smiled evilly

"You still have your clothes, and your virginity..." Krios finished before he let out a small evil laugh "And those are the two things we will take from you"

I tuned out of the conversation as I notched the arrow and I pulled the string back and aimed at Krios. I let the arrow fly and before it even hits Krios, I jump off the cliff as Small Bob holds onto my shoulder as I put my bow back on my back. I land on Hyperion and I unsheathe one of my hidden blades and I drive it straight into Hyperion's throat. Hyperion looks at me in complete and utter shock as he turns to dust. I hear a scream of rage and I look towards Krios and I see Small Bob in his full-grown form fending off the titan. I quickly sheathe my hidden blades before I pull out my pen and uncap it causing Riptide to extend to its full glory. I hear a gasp of disbelief and I see Krios' eyes widen as he lays eyes on Riptide.

"Where did you find that sword? Its previous owner died when he dropped into the Styx river!" Krios said as Small Bob landed a swipe on the titan's leg

"Well then, I guess I'm not the only one who can wield this sword" I say as I walk over to Krios and place my boot on his chest "I want to make sure you know a few things, titan. If you EVER think about trying this stunt again, I'll make sure you find no sanctuary as I Hunt you down every time you reform. I'll continue to hunt you until you lose the will to live and fade from existence." I spit venomously

"You think I'm scared of your threats? I am a Titan! I am stronger than the gods!" Krios says as he tries to push me off to no avail

"There is one thing you should know about me Krios." I say while I dig my boot into the Titan's torso "I am Judge Jury and Executioner, I don't make threats, I make promises"

Krios opens his mouth to say something but I swing Riptide across his neck completely severing it. Krios' head rolls for a moment before it and his body turns to dust. I can Riptide and I turn and look at the girl who was staring at me in shock. I look the girl over and my eyes widen.

'There's no way... There's no way this is real...' I think to myself as the girl stands up and glares at me

"Where did you get that sword?!" She snarls and I smile

"The original owner gave it to me before she gave her life to save her mistress." I say as I take my hood off and the girl gasps in shock

"P-Percy?" she asks as if she has seen a ghost I smile and respond

"Hey Zoë"

Ron's POV:

When the doors of death open Tracy and I walk out and realize that we are in the middle of a hotel. We quickly make our way outside and I realize we were located in New York. I look at Tracy and she looks back at me.

"We should go to Olympus and report to the council..." Tracy says and I nod

"Right, but I wonder what the Olympian's will say..." I respond and Tracy gains a contemplative look in her eye as we start walking towards the Empire State Building

After a while of walking in silence, we reach the Empire state building and I walk up to the man at the desk. I look around before leaning on the desk and looking at him.

"Keys to the 600th floor please" I say and the guy looks at me

"There is no 600th floor kid, go prank some other person" He says as I pull out my sword and put it under his chin

"I am NOT In the mood right now, my girlfriend and I just got out of Tartarus and I would like to see the Olympians." I growl and the guy reaches under his desk and pulls out a keycard which I take as I pull my sword from his throat and sheathe it

I walk to the elevator with Tracy and we go up to Olympus. When the doors opened, Tracy and I walked towards the throne room.

"Hey Tracy, you do know that we can't explain everything since we made that oath, right?" I say and Tracy nods

"That's what I'm afraid of. Zeus is known for getting angry when he isn't told everything, but even he must know that the Styx River is stronger than it was 30 years ago..." Tracy responds as we reach the throne room doors "Well... Here goes nothing..."

We push the throne room doors open and see the Olympians completely quiet. We walk to the middle of the throne room and we both bow before the gods.

"My lords and ladies, we've come baring news... There is to be another war, and the leader of the enemy forces plans on completely destroying Olympus..." I say

"Rise young heroes. The council and I have a few questions we would like to ask you." I heard Zeus say and Tracy and I both stand up.

"Of course, my Lord. We will answer your questions to the best of our abilities." Tracy says and Zeus smiles slightly

"Our first question is: do you know who the person who saved you was? If so, would you tell us their name?" Athena asks and I shake my head

"We never got a name. for all we know it was just a hooded figure that just happened to be in the right place at the right time" I say and I notice Poseidon perk up ever so slightly

'The years haven't been kind to him, I wonder what caused him to be like this... because from what I was told, he looked like a young man in his thirties...' I think to myself

"Did this person happen to take off his hood? And if he did, where his eyes sea green? Did he have Raven black hair?" Poseidon asks weakly and I shake my head "Did he have a three-foot-long Celestial Bronze sword that was concealed as a ballpoint pen?" again I shake my head and Poseidon looks devastated 

"Why do you ask?" Tracy asks and Zeus clears his voice

"It does not matter, Poseidon, you're better off without him" Zeus tried to reason with Poseidon

"Do I look better off? DO I ZEUS? The sea has been fighting me the past thirty years! I have grown weaker as the Sea starts to rage unrestrained as it fights me for control. And this all happened because you convinced me he was too powerful!" Poseidon snarled and for a second his image flashed from a man looking older than time to a man with a powerful posture and immense power.

"I suppose your right Poseidon... I shouldn't have forced you to disown him... but it was the right thing to do. He would have betrayed Olympus sooner or later" Zeus said as a tendril of fire wrapped around his neck

I looked at the source of the flaming tendril and I notice the normally peaceful goddess, Hestia, seething in anger as her eyes were aflame.

"You have No Right to say that 'Brother'!" Hestia

"Thank you, sister" Poseidon says as he turns towards Tracy and I "Let me tell you a story. The story of the Legendary hero, Percy Achilles Jackson"
