Shad's POV:

I smirked as everyone was sent into a stunned silence at my proclamation. I looked at Reyna to find her staring at me and I smirked more.

"Like what you see Reyna?" I said sarcastically and Reyna glared at me but I saw a light tint of red in her cheeks

"Shut up!" Reyna said and I laughed "How did you jump from ballista bolt to ballista bolt anyway?" She asked and I shrugged

"Yeah, how did you do that?" Nico asked "It wasn't shadow travel at least from what I know"

"It's a form I am able to take, it allows me to move extremely fast. So it is like shadow travel, but altered" I lied and I knew they bought it except for Leo and Reyna who was looking at me more

"Shad, come on, let's head back to the fort with the others" Leo said and I nodded as I picked Frank up and slung him onto my left shoulder to avoid my bow, armor and all causing everyone to look at me

"What?" I asked

"You just picked up a soldier in full metal armor with as much ease as you had fighting Reyna" Ron said and I laughed

"Little do you know that I only beat her because she got unlucky, she was about to perform a disarming move which would have landed if I didn't have the advantage of a longer sword" I said and Reyna's eyes widened with surprise I then started walking back to the fort when a flash of light blinded everyone except me and the other immortals

When the light died down, Apollo was standing there and was looking around until his eyes landed on me. He narrowed his eyes and I smirked.

"Lord Apollo, what brings you here?" I said with a light bow as to not throw frank off of my shoulder

"We were watching the battle, and we want to bring all immortal campers and you to Olympus, again, to talk about it" He said and I sighed

"My Apollogies mi lord, but I have to respectfully decline, I need to contact my sister to see how she is holding up, I miss her dearly" I said and Apollo's eyes glowed golden trying to find any lies in my words, when he found none his face split into a grin before nodding

"Apollogy accepted, though if you tell me who your sister is, then I would gladly pick her up" He said and I chuckled

"No offense, but she would probably castrate you, then me if I did that, and I know we both like being intact males" I said and Apollo laughed

"Sounds like she would fit in my sister's hunt very well" He said and I held back my massive grin

'You have no idea cuz' I said mentally before chuckling and saying aloud "Maybe, I'll talk it over with her"

"Alright, I'll notify my sister" he said as the other immortal campers took Frank and surrounded Apollo and he glowed a bit

"Cya later Cuz" I said before cursing mentally just as he flashed away

I turned to the other demigods from Fort Perseus and sighed.

"What do we do now?" Sarah asked as she skipped up to my side causing me to groan mentally

"Everyone, were staying here at Fort Sherman, does anyone have any idea what the schedule for this fort is?" I called out and a kid from Fort Sherman walked forward nervously

"I-I do S-sir" She said hesitantly and I kneeled next to her and smiled as I took my sunglasses off

"What's your name?" I asked kindly and she fidgeted slightly

"I-It's S-Susie" She stuttered "I'm a daughter of A-Apollo" She said and my smiled widened

"Do you trust me Susie?" I asked and she nodded hesitantly and I picked her up and put her on my shoulders where I held her legs "Hold on" I instructed and looked at everyone "Come on, let's get settled in" I said and everyone made their way into the fort as Susie held onto my head

We all walked in and everyone was milling about or practicing sword play when I spotted a particular group of older demigods trying to spar but failing. I sighed and walked over to them and smiled

"mind if I give a few pointers?" I asked and they stopped and looked at me with a grinning Susie on my head

"Why would we listen to a beginner like you?" One of them said arrogantly and I smiled

"Because, if I remember correctly, I was the one who literally walked up to the gates of your fort and after I was thrown off, I jumped from ballista bolt to ballista bolt to get back onto the wall, I also defeated Reyna and the other commanders" I stated calmly as the second guy chuckled

"Sure, we would love some pointers, don't we Chad?" the guy said and Chad grew red faced

"Fine, but if it's some stupid theory crap like what Tracy teaches then I'm going to throttle you into next week Don" Chad said and I chuckled as I put Susie down and Sarah picked her up into her arms

I rolled my eyes as I summoned Realm Splitter and let the tip rest on the ground.

"Alright, Chad face me and hold your sword in a ready position" I said and Chad nodded as he spread his feet far apart and held the sword high above his shoulder and I sighed "Don't move" I said and I planted Realm Splitter into the ground before walking over and moving his feet closer together and then bringing the sword down so it was in front of him "There you go, now in this position you are able to block or attack with relative ease, let me demonstrate" I said as I picked my sword back up "I want you to block this attack, I'll go slow so you can react but remember, in a real fight the enemy won't hold back" I said and Chad nodded while Don watched along with a few others

I swung my sword above my head and used the basic overhead downward strike, I then brought the sword down and Chad moved his word to block.

"See? Now step to the right and bring your sword down to move mine out of the way" I instructed and Chad did what I said and in a moment my sword hit the ground and I smiled

"Wow, this is already better than class with Clarisse who just beats us until were out of breath" Chad said and I chuckled as I remembered Clarisse's way of training

"Don't be so hard on her, she probably has a reason for her lessons, she teaches you endurance does she not?" I ask and they looked shocked before nodding slowly

"I guess..." They said and I smiled

"Now, let's work on offense" I said as I took a few steps back "I want everyone to attack me at once" I said and the five demigods raised their eyebrows

"You'll be slaughtered, you would be outnumbered" Don said and I chuckled

"Outnumbered? Yes, but am I Outskilled? No, no I am not" I said as I took a stance and motioned them to attack "Now, come on" I taunted and they rushed forward using the most basic and choppy attacks

I easily blocked and pushed them back. After a few minutes I held up my hand and they stopped except for Chad who was mid swing.

"SHAD!!!" I heard Sarah yell and I raised my left hand and stopped the sword with the underside of my forearm

"Yes Sarah?" I asked as I looked at her nonchalantly

"W-what?" she asked and I smirked before looking at Susie who had her eyes shut

"Rule one of combat, never let your guard down, Rule two, always stay prepared" I stated as Chad moved his blade and I lowered my arm before looking back at Susie and tapping her shoulder

She opened her eyes and smiled but as she opened her mouth when a loud roar sounded through the air and I growled.

"Battle stations!" Don yelled and everyone scrambled around but I strode toward the gates and looked out and saw Echidna and the Chimera

"HALT!" I yelled as I saw demigods assemble ranks preparing to march out "This is my fight, you all just sit back and watch" I say as I calmly stride out of the fort and within yelling distance

"Well, they send a sacrifice to try and please me and my Sonny" Echidna mused and I scoffed

"Right, of course they did, now let's just get this over you ant eater and chihuahua" I called out and the Chimera growled as it's throat glowed

I smirked as I rest the tip of my sword on the ground behind me.

"Sonny, show this disrespectful demigod who he's talking to" Echidna cried and the Chimera leapt forward and swung its claws at me only to swipe air as I had shadow traveled behind it before sidestepping its snake tail

It turned around and lunged again but I rolled to the side and swung my sword into its side cutting a deep gash. The gash almost immediately healed causing me to growl.

'Think Shadow THINK!' I yelled at myself mentally when an old memory surfaced and it involved the Nemean lion and a silver packet of space food causing me to smirk 'That's right, the only thing that can kill the Chimera is it choking' I thought as I backflipped out of range of another swipe and quickly shifted my sword into my left hand before grabbing three cards from the deck and throwing them in front of me

The cards melted into the ground and shadows formed around the spots as three warriors rose up slowly. Once the warriors were formed they charged the monster buying me time. I knelt and grabbed my bow off my back as it turned into my back pack. I rummaged through the bag cursing until I found three silver packets.

"Thank you" I said as I took them out, slung my bag onto my back and willed it back into a bow I looked up to see the three warriors all get taken out in one swipe

I charged forward with my sword in my left hand and silver packets in my right as the Chimera's throat glowed and a moment later fire shot out and engulfed me. I smirked as I made the packets fireproof and kept moving. As I got closer I leapt into the air out of the fire, causing the Chimera to be shocked and stop breathing fire while keeping its mouth open. I quickly chucked the three packets into the monster's mouth where it swallowed them and started choking. I landed with a roll before shifting my sword into my right hand and quickly severing the snake tail from its body. I then grabbed the appendage and jumped onto the monster's back and putting the tail under its throat and pulling up as hard as I could using the expanded space food to completely block off the Chimera's air passages. The monster started thrashing violently but I held sturdy due to my thousands of years of training. After a few minutes the beast went stock still and fell to the side before dissolving into dust. I turned to see Echidna trying to run away.

"Bitch, get back here, I aint finished with you" I yelled before using my full Hermes speed and launching towards her and thrusting my sword into her spine "Lovely day, maybe we should go to Saint Louis and see the Arch" I said and her eyes went wide with realization "Revenge is a bitch wouldn't you say? Have fun with my good pale Tartarus, he hates you as much as he hates Gaia" I growled before I ripped my sword out of her back and she turned to dust

I turned around and found an ivory white bow where the Chimera was at and raised an eyebrow.

"What in the name of my father caused that to drop?" I asked no one in particular when I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end as I felt the cold feeling of metal on my neck

"I don't know boy, but you have three minutes to explain what you just did"
