Outside of Fort Perseus
Third Person POV:

Outside of the demigod fort, a battle raged as the poorly prepared demigods fought off hordes of monsters. Two hooded figures danced between the monsters, a trail of golden dust behind them. But upon closer inspection one could tell they were tiring as they were fighting nonstop for the past several days. Suddenly, a blast of bright golden energy hits one in the chest knocking them to the floor before a golden titan like figure leaps into the air and aims a killing strike at the downed hooded figure.

Shad's POV:

I watched as Hyperion leapt into the air as my body refused to move as I had no sleep that past two days. The titan had a large smirk on his face as he descended on me and I closed my eyes waiting for my death. However, as I waited, I heard the sound of metal on metal that was accompanied by a large explosion of force that forced me to open my eyes. What I saw standing over me made me smile slightly, the glint of Aieon metal was unmistaken as Lunar held Hyperion at bay easily with his crescent blade.

"Hey Shadow, I would like to apologize for being an ass earlier" Lunar said as Hyperion tried to overpower him

"Apology accepted, now" I started as I forced myself up and looked around and I saw Umbra get knocked to the ground "Let's show them who they messed with"

"With pleasure" Lunar said and he swung his blade to the side before it disappeared and he grabbed a mace canister which turned into a spear that he threw into Hyperion's temple

Lunar then turned around and used his hidden blades to deflect a sword swipe from a monster before he lunged forward and brought his knee into its stomach. He then kicked it away as he pulled a pistol off of his chest and shot a cyclops that was about smash Umbra.

He holstered the pistol as he bent backwards as a spear was thrusted over him. He reached up and grabbed the spear and twisted to the side as he straightened up and pulled the dracaena toward him before suddenly a trident appeared skewering the snake lady.

"Ew get off my property!" he said as he grabbed the three prongs and pulled the weapon out

I was so lost in watching Lunar fight that a hellhound jumped onto me and tried to bite me. However, it was blasted off by a beam of pure silver as Lunar spun his trident around. Before it disappeared and he pulled a gladius off of his back and parried a cannonball that was thrown at him. He suddenly became a blur of limbs as he threw his gladius into a hellhound then his two throwing knives into a cyclops and empousa, he also threw his two daggers into a giant causing it to burst into golden dust but not before he ran at it and used it to launch into the air before he pulled his bow off of his back and notched three arrows causing them to glow a bright silver before releasing them into the monster army where they exploded.

Lunar then landed as he shouldered his bow and summoned what looked like an AR-15 and started to unload mag after mag into any monster that got within range which was almost everything. At this point the monster army looked like they were about to leave as he willed the gun away and pulled a pocket watch out. He spun it around a few times before I saw the chain wrap around his hand and when the timepiece hit his hand and the top opened, it elongated into a large scythe that had a pit metal and Aieon blade.

"Nice blade" I said as I stood up and walked over and grabbed the top card off of my deck and flung it to the side summoning Realm Splitter

"Same goes to you" He said and on impulse we crossed the blades and the weapons glowed faintly as we faced the retreating monster army

"REALM RIFT!" We shouted as we swung the blades forward toward the monsters and a blast of grey energy launched out and formed a long horizontal line as it rocketed through the remaining monsters turning them to dust

Once we finished the strike we both stumbled back and had to catch ourselves as our energy nearly made us pass out.

"Hey! You two alright?" A kid that I had come to know as Nich ran up and looked at us

"Yeah Nich, were alright, hey, how's that book of yours coming along?" I asked and he smiled

"It's coming along great! Still don't have a title for it though" He said and I chuckled

"It'll come to you don't worry" I said as I pulled out a card and handed it to Lunar "Here man, take care alright, and destroy that castle you were in for me" I finished and he nodded as he grabbed the card and gathered his weapons and gear

"Will do, and Shadow" He said as he looked at me and I tilted my head "Thanks brother" He finished and I smirked under my hood

"Anytime bro" I responded as we shook hands and he vanished in a flash of silver light

I turned around and saw everyone staring at me and I looked around.

"What?"

A/N: I know it was a short chapter and wasn't that good, but need I remind you that this story started off as a damn dream that involved will smith?
