With a new rising sense of vigour, as well as a sun rising behind her as if Fate puppeteered the very sun to give her a more grandiose showing of her emotion, she utters "Just as Sir Shirou is Lady Rin's sword, I shall be yours as well!" Naofumi then absentmindedly nodded saying "Very well." barely containing the overwhelming guilt he felt within for forcing a child to not only physically and mentally grow up faster, but also send them into their possible doom. Then he quietly muttered out "I'm sorry I made you my sword... Raphtalia..." as he went to check up on his supplies while forcing himself not to cry.

Suddenly, the final countdown has begun...

They were all then teleported away and into a cliff overlooking the forest. The sky turned red as psychedelic portals opened in the skies. Naofumi grits his teeth as he says "Those are..." which Shirou continues "The waves of catastrophe..." as he takes out his bow.

After a couple seconds, they then see the other heroes run towards the source of the waves. Naofumi calls out to Ren and asks "Where are you three going?" to which Ren hurriedly replies "We're going to stop the waves at the heart of it! We're gonna kill the boss!" Motoyasu then says "Haven't you guys seen a game that does this, there's always a boss in the middle".

Naofumi then says "Isn't the safety of the pe-aaaand they're gone... Figures."

Shirou then says "Iwatani, look." and points at the direction of Lute village. He then says "I'm currently using my Reinforcement magecraft on my eyes and what I see there is not good. The village is being overrun."

Naofumi then says "Wait, I thought they'd have evacuated the village already?!"

A signal flare then appears as Naofumi says "By the time the knights appear, they would be too late."

Rin then pulls out her Archer card and says "Look, here's the plan. Naofumi, Raphtalia, you two, go ahead and clear the village. Shirou, you go and help evacuate the villagers, as for me..." She then chucks the card in mid-air, as it explodes in a fiery explosion. Shortly after, Archer EMIYA came out. "Archer and I are going to help take down the big boss."

Everyone then nods to the plan and moves accordingly. Shirou uses reinforcement magic on his legs to barely keep up with Naofumi and Raphtalia whose physical ability actually scaled with their levels as the three ran towards Lute.

Rin climbs Archer's arms as he then uses his servant level(albeit significantly nerfed) stats to rocket upwards only to throw Kanshou into a faraway tree and then zipped there by supercharging Bakuya's attraction to its partner. While magnetizing himself, Archer then says "A word of warning Rin, due to me existing as a mere extension of your Heroic weapon, I'm limited to very few of my Noble Phantasms." to which Rin says "As long you can still fight, I'm fine with that." Archer nods and says "That I can''.

Meanwhile at the village, a man was just thrown into a tree like a rag doll, and as he recovers, was forced to see death in the eyes, as a giant zombie was about to strike him down with a giant sword. Suddenly...

*thwip thwip thwip thwip thwip*

the sound of something sharp rotating in the air was heard before-

*SQUELCH* *CRACK*

Just like that, the sound of something embedding itself into flesh and bone was heard. The man looks up to see the giant zombie drop dead, as a red haired man dislodges a black falchion from it's head. The man then asks him "Are you okay? Can you stand?"

The villager could only nod absentmindedly before the man tells him "Help me here. I want you to round up the villagers so we can evacuate everyone."

The man feels a renewed sense of vigor as he nods firmly before running off. Shirou then follows on with his swords in hand.

While that happened, Raphtalia and Naofumi were currently at the very middle of a very intense battle against several undead and wasps. Since earlier, Naofumi used one of the 3 headed bear shield's abilities, [Debuff Roar] attracting the major populace of the undead to both of them due to it's sheer sound. Some of the villagers then came back to try and help only for yet another giant zombie to appear, making Naofumi scream out "Get out of here!"

One of the villagers hesitantly said "But-" only to be cut off by Naofumi blocking a strike from one of the large undead, saying "Think of your family! I'll be fine here! I am not a hero for nothing! Raphtalia!" She then quickly slices the monster's head in half. Naofumi then says to the man "Go! Focus on protecting your family first, we'll be fine here!"

Naofumi then sees Shirou come back, saying "I have secured a safe route for the rest of the villagers, we need to search for stragglers." speaking out of experience, as this event was very similar in constitution to the very thing that birthed Emiya Shirou. Something he would rather have a child not go through.

Naofumi, while searching for stragglers, then gasps as he sees a child walking amongst the flames. A boy about Raphtalia's supposed age, with crimson red hair, trying to limp out of the flaming debris with eyes who have given up everything only to live. The boy then gets covered by debris as he holds out his hand, hop- no, he had given even hope up just to take one more step. And just as he was about to accept his demise, at the hands of a zombie, something registered in his vision, a man with jaded eyes and black spiky hair, tackles the zombie away and pulls him out.

The man then pants, saying "Oh thank God, thank God. Don't worry, I am here." The man holds his hand with such joy and relief, he couldn't help but feel jealous of that smile. Before passing out, he then faintly hears the man's voice call out to someone else, before everything went dark.

Naofumi was that man and the person he was calling out to was Shirou, saying "Emiya! Lend me Avalon! We need to stabilize this child." Shirou quickly runs over alongside Raphtalia and then pulls out Avalon and places it in the boy.

Naofumi then asks Shirou "Dude, are you okay? You're crying." Shirou notices this and dried his eyes, before saying "It's probably nothing, just... memories..." while looking at Naofumi hold the unconscious boy up. Shirou then continues, saying "We need to get him to the shelte-'' before getting cut off by the formation of a spell. Suddenly various fireballs started raining down on them. Naofumi quickly shields Raphtalia and the boy while Shirou, projects multiple nameless swords and intercepts the fire. Each fireball was actually quite deadly as Shirou's swords merely derailed the fireballs off course.

Suddenly, a loud and haughty laughter was heard, saying "Hahahaha! Got em. Burned all those creatures in one fell swoop. Oh what is this?" Naofumi, Shirou and Raphtalia's eyes all land on a squadron of knights as a man, presumably their commanding officer, then pales before saying "False hero?! I-I'm... forgive me! I did not know you were here! I thought only the Shield Hero's team went here."

Shirou then glowers at the man, saying "So... You would kill an important hero anyways, due to some petty grudge? For shame knight. For shame."

Naofumi then shouts out "Oi! Don't you know there was a child here?! Do you know people were here earlier?! I don't care if I got caught, I'd have the necessary defense to tank it. But these people are civilians!"

The knight was about to retort but then backs away after looking right at Shirou's golden eyed glare, one that shows disgust, contempt, and hate while shaking his head slowly in extreme disapproval.

The knight then kneels in front of Shirou saying "F-forgive us Sir Hero! W-we-"

Shirou holds the knight's shoulder and says "The only way I'd accept your forgiveness is this, band with me and the Shield Hero and cut down the enemy horde long enough to make sure of the villagers' safety. Then, have some of your knights aid in escorting the villagers."

The knight then spat quietly on the ground before saying "R-right! Half of the knights! Escort the villagers! Other half, go to my second in command, you will aid the two heroes in cutting down the enemy!"

A grouchy black-haired knight with a scar running down his face then smirks as he says "To me! Phalanx formation!"

The commanding knight then regains composure, but instead of helping, he then says "They've got it under wraps here, soldiers, follow me and support the other heroes, after we escort the villagers."

The united front then starts to drive back the horde. Meanwhile, Rin is fighting her own battle.

Currently, Rin and Archer were busy not only fighting the Chimera, but also saving knights from the heroes themselves, who, for all their claims of greatness, have already almost killed soldiers through friendly fire at least twice per hero.

"WIND ARROW!"

"CRIMSON BLADE!"

"LIGHTNING SPEAR!"

They fire off an attack only for the chimera to jump away. It then charges at Ren making him close his eyes while holding out his sword to block. Suddenly-

*CLANG!*

When Ren opens his eyes, who he sees was a man with a red coat whose back is facing him, staring him down with a condescending glare, muttering out "Hero my ass." before scoffing and looking back at the foe. He then tells Ren "Snap out of it! If you want to continue, fine by me. But be warned, fights like this will only start getting harder from here on out."

Ren, instead of faltering, quietly nods before standing up and flanking the creature. Suddenly, Rin raises her arm and chucks yet another card, saying "Artoria come forth!" as a speeding blue blur comes out and decimates a zombie that tried to sneak a stab on Motoyasu.

Motoyasu, the entitled scumbag he is, then puts on his pretty boy face and leans on a tree trunk beside her, saying "Hey there, thanks for the save there, miss. What's your name?"

Artoria then gives him a dead panned look and points at the chimera and says "There are more important things at stake here! Also I have a boyfriend already.", while pointing at Archer who briefly smirks at him, before rushing at the chimera to aid Ren in melee combat.

Motoyasu sighs deeply before continuing the fight. Archer then brings out his black bow, something Itsuki tried to scan but instead only got [Wooden Bow(Black) +1] greatly confusing him. He then looks on as Archer mutters out "Trace... On..." Archer then summons a sword into his hand, confusing Itsuki even more, before drawing it like an arrow confusing him even more.

Archer notices the younger archer and looks at him coldly, saying "Are you gonna help or what?" Itsuki soon snapped out before nodding and saying "R-right!" Both then drew their bows side by side as they shout out "CALADBOLG!!/METEOR ARROW!"

Two beams of light, one faster and brighter than the other then launched themselves at the chimera, as the smaller arrow merely wounds it, the larger, vortex covered one mutilates it's arm by spinning it grotesquely in a counter clockwise form making various squelches and cracks as it did. It wasn't as powerful as how it usually can fire but the fact it could still overshadow the performance of a legendary weapon was something else.

This then gave the melee fighters their opening as they then fired off their attacks. "Crimson blade!/Lightning Spear!/Hammer of the wind king! STRIKE AAAIIIIR!!'' With the fiery blade igniting the creature, the spear stunning it in place and air not only punching a hole through the creature's guts but also turning the fire and lightning from the two other attacks into a dust devil of flames joined with lightning bolts. Itsuki then mutters out "So this is the power of a gacha whale summon..." to which Archer's eyebrow twitches as to how far their delusion went, even calling him a such a thing. Heroes of myth and legend... reduced to a gambling type game packed with abysmal drop rates and the like.

After that dies down, the heroes are about to grab their spoils but then Archer and Saber then block their way.

Motoyasu was the first to speak, saying "Hey! What gives?!" to which Archer said "Before you start cutting apart the pieces, me and my partner here would like to take the lion head as compensation for our aid. Ren then says "But you two are just summons. You shouldn't take part in the prize." to which Saber replies with "Yes, this is our master's spoils and since we both act as our master's hands, therefore she must take the biggest piece since the combined effort of Archer and I count towards her contribution." pointing at a pale Rin heavily panting from the sheer consumption of mana from all those attacks which literally started to eat her health.

Motoyasu and Itsuki were about to protest but then Ren then steps in front of them and says "It's only right that you do. I hate to admit it but she's right..."

After they take the head, they bow out of politeness before heading out. The three heroes then look on at the unconscious Rin being carried by Archer, as they all say in unity "What kind of cheat level strength did her class have..."

After a bit, the knights from earlier finally arrive, panting and exhausted from the amount of running they had to do to make up for time used for helping the Faker. Alas, the fight had already concluded.

Motoyasu then says "If you guys came in to help fight, then you came in too late. You just missed the gore fest. It was actually almost too easy. Especially with those two summons around" The knight then says "Hey now, don't be like that, we're just here to tell you that the king has already set out a reward for your swell jobs!"

Artoria then bows and then waves the guard off.

Rin then says "Saber return. I can't sustain both of you at the same time, even with Archer's Independent Action. At least not yet."

Both then share a quick kiss before Archer help Rin up as Saber turns into her spirit form.

As they walk towards the remaining villagers, Naofumi, Raphtalia, Shirou, Rin, Saber, Archer and the people of the village all collectively, mentally sigh in relief. The second wave of disaster is over.

They have survived.

Rin then huffs in exasperation saying "Wait, those were beasts and undeads... why didn't I summon Cu." palming her own face.
