OK, you wanna make a PJO/ HoO fanfiction? Just fellow my advice to making a perfect OC!

First, who's her godly parent? Hahaha! That's easy! It's obviously Poseidon! Despite the pact he made with his brothers, he's still randomly making babies with mortals 😏

Now let's give your OC a name that doesn't hint out her heritage. Hmmm...How about Ocean Rivers! That's totally a non obvious name.

Now, let's start the first chapter:

Ocean Rivers lived in an apartment with her mom (Cuz why does she need to be original? Let's make her backstory just like Percy's!). She had abusive stepfather that hits her and blah blah blah...And then she ran away into the woods (without getting eaten by monsters, yes) and suddenly came across CAMP HALF-BLOOD! (because clearly satyrs aren't needed).

"A camp for demigods!?" Ocean Rivers gasped, and then the second she crossed the border, a glowing trident appeared above her head.

"What? A child of Poseidon, how does that make sense?" Annabeth pointed out (thank you, Annie).

Chiron shrugged. "Idk."

"Nice to meet you, Ocean!" Percy said to the new camper.

"Thanks, you're hot!" Ocean said.

Percy made finger-guns towards her. "You too, and I'm madly in love with you, even though you're technically my sister."

"Cool!" Ocean said.

"What is happening!?" Annabeth said, for once, confused.

OK, firstly: I don't ever want to see another OC who is a child of the Big Three! There's still the rule they made!

If you do have an Big Three OC, don't make their life easy! They can't stroll in the forest WITHOUT getting attacked by monsters. The more powerful the demigod, the more they attract monsters.

I swear, almost every Poseidon child has a mermaid name. I seen it all: Ocean, Oceanus, Aqua, Marine, indigo. Please stop, give them normal names.

There are other gods besides the Big Three. Try the other Olympians, or the minor gods. There are some pretty cool minor gods out there.

I don't think this needs any pointing out. But if you make a Percy x OC fanfiction, don't make the OC the child of Poseidon. I don't like incest.

Satyrs still exist.
