After awhile, I stopped to take a break. I looked back, no one was following me. I sat down, and looked out at the view. "Hey man, watcha doin' out here?" I turned around and saw Wither. "You haven't heard?" I asked. He shook his skull and sat next to me. "The children of Notch came here, and I was told they were monsters." "They are," Wither added. I shook my head. "No, they're so nice. They actually care about others." He looked at me with a curious grin. "I've heard that one of them was a girl." "So?" I asked. He shrugged. "I just thought you would have had, you know, the feelz for her." I looked at him shocked. "After what happened, I highly expect." He patted my back. "Well, I gotta head back to my family. See ya' later." He jumped off the edge. "3.....2.....1." Then, he went away, flying on a ghast. I waved good-bye, then sighed. "You okay?" I heard a voice, again, say behind me. I didn't bother and turn around, I could already tell who it was. "What do you want?" The person sat next to me. "I just, wanted to make sure you're-" "I'M FINE! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" "Well, I, um," The person stuttered. "Alex, just leave me alone." She sighed. "Here, this will help." "Nothing will-" I was cut off by her putting her arms around me. "What are you doing?" I asked. "You've never heard of a hug?" I shook my head. "But it's nice," I said, 'hugging' her back. "You've got to be kidding me!" A booming voice shouted from all directions. I stopped hugging her and stood up. "What now?" "You're coming with me right now!" He boomed once again. "Fine, bye Alex." Father took out his hand, I grabbed his hand before looking back at Alex and smiling.

Alex's POV

I watched as Herobrine teleported Brine away, but I swear I saw Brine smile to me before leaving. "Sis!" I heard Steve shout. I turned to where he shouted and saw him running to me. "We gotta get out of here!" He shouted once again. "But what about Brine?" I asked. "He's a Herobrine...a monster." I shook my head. "No, he's the nicest guy I've met!" Steve sighed and grabbed my hand. "Let's get home to father, okay?" "Okay, just give me a few minutes." He nodded and started walking back to the portal. I started walking around a bit, and then found the fortress. "He's got to be in there," I whispered to myself. I walked closer to the fortress. "Now where's the entrance?" I scanned the fortress and saw a roof top. I started climbing the wall, using my two iron swords for support.

Once I was at the top, I went down the staircase. "Brine," I whispered. I heard something around the corner. I hid in a small hole in the wall. A blaze passed by, without noticing me. I got out of the hole and continued.

Eventually, I found a huge Nether Brick door. That must be his room... I knocked on the door lightly and hid behind a wall. "Hello?" I heard a familiar voice say. "Brine?" I asked, still in a whisper. He nodded and motioned for me to come in the room. I ran into his room as he closed the door behind me. "What are you doing here?" He asked me. "I-I was thinking...would you like to come to my house?" I asked, blushing as hard as an apple. He blushed, but then had a shocked look on his face. "You mean up there, to the OverWorld?" I nodded. He jumped up and down, clapping. "Yes, yes please," He said happily. He hugged me, I hugged him back. "Mr. Brine?" I heard a voice on the other side of the door said. He pointed to his closet. I nodded and hid inside. "Yes?" "Your father wishes to speak to you," The person said, but it sounded like a mob though. "Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes," Brine replied. I heard the door open, then close. I opened the closet door and peeked my head out. Brine nodded that I could come out. "How do we get out?" He asked. I took out my diamond pickaxe. "We pick our way out." I started to break the wall. It eventually broke and I made an exit big enough for us to fit. "Let's go," I said to Brine. Just as I was about to step off, Brine grabbed my hand. I looked down and saw that it was lava below. "Oh, that makes sense." He chuckled and pulled me back. As I touched the ground, I tripped on something, causing me to fall into Brine's arms. I looked up, making my face inches from Brine's. I blushed again, so did Brine. "I, uh, got some Netherrack we can use to make a bridge." Brine let go of me and nodded. You're so stupid...why did you do that Alex?! I took out the stack of Netherrack that I have and started making a bridge.

Once I finished, we started heading to the portal. "Why do you want to take me?" Brine asked while we were walking. "I, don't know. I just have a feeling you deserve a chance," I replied. Then, it was just silence, until we got to the portal. "Alex! Where have you-" Steve stopped and looked at Brine. "Why is he here?" He asked. "Can he come with us brother? Please!" Steve sighed. "What if his father finds out?" "My father can't leave, he would have years ago," Brine answered Steve. Steve nodded. "Okay, only because of that reason." I clapped my hands and hugged Brine. "Now come on...loverplayers." I blushed and let go of Brine. "We're not loverplayers!" I shouted back. "Now, ahem, let's go!" I exclaimed, grabbing Brine's hand and going to the portal. Right when we were two blocks away, Brine stopped. "What's wrong man?" Steve asked, walking up next to Brine. Brine looked down. "It's just, I've dreamed of this for so long but now, I'm not ready." I giggled. "It's not hard, just jump and you'll be there!" Brine nodded, but didn't move. "Do you want me to hold your hand?" I asked. He nodded, but in an embarrassed way. I sighed and grabbed his hand. He looked at our connected hands, then at me, but, was he blushing?! I blushed and started walking slowly to the portal. "You ready?" I asked both of them. They both nodded and I jumped in, still holding Brine's hand.
