Perhaps it was a mistake to name her Wattpad account after her YouTube channel. She went to go change it, but she saw she had received a reply from this Coolrena.

Whatever. They didn't seem to be taking the account seriously, which was good. It still was probably a bad idea to name her account what she did, but at least she can look for fanfiction without anyone really questioning her presence. People probably pretended to be Hermits on this website all the time and people here just had their guards down.

Then the Rena person messaged again:

"RP account," huh? So these people were pretending to be Hermits to.... roleplay?

Interested, Cleo clicked on this Mag1c_Mak3r's profile picture and was instantly taken to their page. At the bottom of their bio was the note that this account was for "Hermittpad Roleplay." Hermittpad? She looked it up in the Wattpad search bar and found an account called HermittpadRecap.

Sounded like a good place to check out.

five minutes later

So from what she understood, Hermittpad was the Wattpad community of Hermitcraft fans, who were all probably insane and in love with roleplay. They have taken roleplay so far, in fact, that their characters that were originally based off of Hermitcraft jokes were practically their own characters. That their character arcs were more complex than half of the fanfictions Cleo had read. That their villains were realistic, that their backstories were heart wrenching, that most of their plotlines were made up on the spot but still incredibly intense.

Maybe this would be a cool community to join.

So she does.

She doesn't change her name, and instead roleplays as herself. People compliment her on how realistic her dialogue is.... oh, if only they knew. But she knew that if they knew, they would run screaming and hide all of their wonderful fanfiction from the world. They even said this themselves.

Oh....

How hilarious this would be if it actually happened.

And who knows....

.... maybe it already has.

Just with a different Hermit.
