One shot (don't mind me-)
Season 8, right before the moon crashes
The moon is going to crash.
That's what everyone in Hermitcraft Season 8 thought, as more and more blocks launched into the air, and the gravity became more and more conflicted. The huge moon took up the entire sky, making the night so bright it was as if it was still day.
Everything would be gone.
Everything. All the projects they had worked on. Everything that they haven't finished. All gone.
Most knew that they had to flee. There was no way of saving the server now.
It was just...too late.
A tremor ripples through the ground. Hermits floated and dropped back down like puppets.
One question rang through their minds:
Why?
It couldn't be a natural disaster. Someone—something—caused this.
Still. It. Was. Too. Late.
They couldn't even flee. There was nowhere to flee to. The continued was surrounded with water for thousands of blocks in every direction. No one could fly fast enough to another mainland.
The moon tore up the ground, sucking them in, as if eating them. It grew stronger and larger and brighter, leaving nothing left of the night sky. It was so close, so close, it was just too late.
The moon was going to crash.
And nothing could stop it.
The world was coming to an end.
And it was too late to save it.
The moon was going to crash.
And it did.
*dramatic jazz hands(?)*
Yayyyyyyyyy
Oh wow.
Ugh.
That—that's bad.
