Hi, yes! So hehe- it's been a lil bit... mostly because I was working on a Hex but it turned out way too ooc and angsty, plus I watched Xisuma's Season V Christmas episode and EX fangirling over the Wormman shop was just so wholesome. Now I want Wormman x EX and to ditch the Hex oneshot. Welp, that's a problem for future me! Right now, I have decided to make a one shot based off the following prompt: Person B is busy all the time so Person A gets a pet as to not feel lonely. Person B then becomes jealous of the pet. Person A is Hypno, Person B is xB, and the pet is a mini mooshroom.

It was a very boring day. Hypno didn't have any projects, was bored of a lot of activities, and most terrible of all of it, xB hadn't come home in 103 hours, 17 minutes, and 5 seconds. He did that sometimes, the hardworking builder often forgetting to check the time and becoming engrossed in his work. However, in the past couple of days, he had started leaving the house for long periods of time. The house had started to feel rather lonely without xB's rambling  filling it. Hypno missed having someone else to talk to or snuggle with or watch movies with. 

"I dunno dude. Maybe you should get a pet? I've heard those help." Jevin drawled on a call between the two. "You seem kinda lonely over there." 

"I do feel a little lonely," Hypno admitted, tapping their fingers on a countertop. "But what pet?"

There was a pause, then Jevin continued. "I feel like I'm gonna regret this, but have you ever seen a mooshroom? They're like, tiny little mooshrooms the size of your palm." 

Hypno could already feel excitement bubbling in their stomach. "You know where I can get one?"

"Uhm... here wait I have it marked on a map." A bit of shuffling in the background. "Oh yeah, we bred one up right behind... actually I'll get him for you, it's pretty far out. We were experimenting and accidentally made the little guy."

"Alright then. Thanks Jev."

"Yep."

A little while later, a familiar bright blue slime floated down with a little bundle. 

"Hey Hypno! I have him." 

"Nice!" They took the bundle from him and carefully unwrapped the blankets. Resting inside was a very, very, very tiny little brown mooshroom. "Aww, he's so cute!!"

"Yeah, I have no idea how we made him. He's super rare, being a brown mooshroom and all."

A buzz came from both of their communicators, and Hypno whipped theirs out to check their messages. They were greeted with the sight of a very distressed message from Wels.

Welsknight: Will give 64 diamonds to whoever finds my Jevin! PLEASE HES BEEN MISSING FOR 4 DAYS!! Contact me if found

"That's my cue to leave, I guess..." Jevin quickly said as the chat was spammed with promises of hunting him down. "Oh, and Hypno?"

"Yeah??"

"You smell. BYE-" He flew away before Hypno could yell at him. Hypno shook their head and walked back into the house with their brand new mooshroom baby.

xB nervously paced at the door, biting at his fingernails. This time, he'd left Hypno alone for more than four days just because of some stupid build that seemed oh so important when he'd started it. Slowly, he creaked the door open and slipped inside, worried sick about his poor poor joyfriend. After a quick scan of the room, he didn't see Hypno anywhere, so he moved silently to their bedroom. He peeked in and saw Hypno sitting on the bed with something in their hands. 

"xB?!" Hypno gasped, carefully placing whatever they had in their hands and leaping forward to embrace him. xB caught them and held them tightly to him. "Where did you go, I missed you so much..." they mumbled into his chest, tearing up slightly.

"I lost track of time... I'm so sorry darling." xB whispered softly, pulling away from Hypno slightly to examine their face. Suddenly, the warm moment was interrupted by a low growl from the bed. 

"Oh! xB, meet our brand new little boy!" Hypno bounced over to the bed and picked up a small brown mooshroom. "Isn't he lovely?"

"Mm, yeahh." xB said, staring into the little cow's black, empty eyes. "He's just lovely." 

Hypno gingerly passed the mooshroom to xB, and it snarled quietly. "I'll be right back, alright?"

The blond walked away to the kitchen leaving xB with his new child. As soon as Hypno stepped foot into the hall, the mooshroom was biting his hands and leaping out of his arms. He growled and ran off onto the bed again, leaving xB with a shocked expression. "W-what the-"

"I heard a commotion, is anything wrong??" Hypno poked their head into the bedroom and xB found that the mooshroom was now innocently sniffing his leg from the bed. "Aww, you two are so cute! Guess there's no problem." 

"No Hypno wait-" But they were already gone, shutting the door. As the mooshroom angrily growled at him again, he knew that it was going to be a tough couple of days.

Tough couple days was a severe understatement. The mooshroom seemed to want to make xB's life as terrible as possible and ruin his day. The mooshroom, dubbed Muffin by Hypno, always took up xB's side of the bed, pooped in his shoes, tossed his stuff into the wilderness, jumped on him, tripped him, ate his food when he wasn't looking, and was overall just awful. Worst of all, Hypno always chalked it up to 'oh he's like a toddler xB! Its what toddlers do!'.

"Why?!" xB yelled at Muffin after one week of torture. "What did I ever do to you??"

Muffin stared up at him as if he could understand what xB was saying. He ran up to a picture of Hypno, nudged it, ran to the box of tissues on the couch and nudged it, then stared at  xB. He was clearly still confused. Muffin once again nudged Hypno, then nudged the tissues, then glared at xB. 

"Tissues? As in crying?? Wait you wouldn't know that... umm boo hoo, like that. Do you mean... Hypno was crying? When?!" 

Muffin went to another room and dragged along a picture taken of Hypno and Muffin the day Jevin gave them him. "The day you were brought home... oh." He felt guilt pooling in his stomach. "You've been trying to protect Hypno because I made them cry, haven't you." He didn't need any sort of reply from Muffin. 

"I'm sorry Muffin. I swear, it was an accident, and I really love Hypno. I love them a lot, more than you think I do. I would never mean to hurt them, they're my everything. If I weren't with them, I don't what I would do." He bent down to look at Muffin, and Muffin looked up at him. "I promise that I'll always take care of Hypno, no matter what." 

Muffin seemed to approve, jumping up into xB's lap and curling up. xB gently stroked the small mooshroom, happy to have finally sorted everything out.

Tango: Better grab my popcorn!

Tango: Hi Jevin! What are doing in my base

Grian: yeah but still

Tango: I don't even care about the diamonds, watching Jevin get chewed out by Wels is rewarding enough. Wels is currently screeching 'aND ANOTHER THING MISTER-' and I'm trying not to wheeze and failing

Wels: let this be a lesson. Never leave your significant others alone at home for long amounts of time without warning
