As soon as Xisuma stepped through the portal, he could tell the shorter figure beside him was already nervous. All the new faces and actually being on a populated server was going to be an adjustment for the guy.

The Admin turned and glanced down at his little friend. "Hey, don't worry. All these guys are really nice." He confirmed.

The young one merely held onto Xisuma's hand tighter and hid behind him.

The group of brand new hermits were standing around, talking with some of the older members. Chatting and smiling and getting to know each other. X smiled and cleared his throat, hoping that they would include his little friend as well. "Ahem, may I have your attention please for a moment?"

The crowd stopped talking, all turning and looking at their Admin.

With a smile hidden behind his mask, Xisuma spoke. "I would like to introduce you to the final new member of hermitcraft!" He said.

The others all perked up in excitement.

Xisuma then turned and glanced back at his friend. "Its ok Mumbo, they aren't that scary." He whispered.

After a brief pause, a small and scrawny looking kid stepped out from behind Xisuma. Looking up at the crowd. The small boy had a vest on with white long sleeves on for an undershirt and he had black shorts on and small black dress shoes on his feet. He had black messy hair and red colored eyes.

Cleo was the first to speak up, kneeling down at the kid's level. "Hi! Aren't you just an adorable little thing?"

False then soon joined Cleo in squatting at the little boy's level. "What's your name sweety?" She asked politely, smiling innocently.

The little boy looked at the two women in front of him, he looked down sheepishly before speaking up. "I'm Mumbo Jumbo."

Xisuma's heart warmed at the interactions. This kid will get along perfectly with them all.

Xisuma later found out that Mumbo was an absolute genius. From Tango telling him how Mumbo helped fix one of his farms to Mumbo actually helping X out with one of his own Redstone contraptions.

Time Skip
To say that X was furious was a complete understatement. He was at a point where words could no longer describe his anger. Or at least not in an appropriate manor.

Anger swelling inside his chest, Xisuma went and punched a stone block with his fist, yelling out in frustration.

"Shashwammy, calm down. We're all pissed off." Keralis called out, watching as the Admin continued his mini assault on the caves stone walls.

Xisuma pounded his fist against the stone block again. "I should've known that the Watchers would've been able to break down that barrier!"

Joe and Biffa were also watching their admin continue to mercilessly beat the block. "You can't blame yourself, X..." Joe started, trying to calm the Admin down.

The Admin then snapped towards the three. "What are you talking about?! I'm the Admin! I could've prevented the breech! I could've prevented all the glitches and errors from getting to Mumbo as fast as it did! I could've prevented the kid from having to suffer through-"

Xisuma stopped talking when Biffa suddenly came up and embraced him in a tight hug. Its force was telling X that there was no preventing the hug either. Biffa stood in silence for a moment before speaking. "Let it go... the past is past, unfortunately."

Xisuma choked, tears running down his scard face. He simply hugged Biffa back, knowing that his friend was right.

Time Skip
Xisuma observed how Mumbo mildly squirmed when around new Hermits that joined at the beginning of their third season. He couldn't blame the young one though. Mumbo, who stood taller than False now, was still short compared to the new hermit Doc. It also didn't help that Doc appeared fairly threatening.

At least the two appeared to be on ok terms.

As the season progressed, Xisuma kept tabs on all the Hermits. He also noticed that Mumbo seemed to be moving a lot slower, seemingly holding at his stomach and mildly hunched over whenever he walked.

It was worrying, but X didn't bring it up.

One day, Mumbo went up to his Admin and brought the subject up. X checked the coding around the younger hermit. The coding was all glitched out around his height and such, an after-effect of getting caught in the Glitch and error storm.

Xisuma had fallen to his knees, tears running down his face as he and Mumbo held onto each other in a tight embrace.

Time Skip
Xisuma had never seen a pair of people who had just met become friends as fast as Mumbo and Iskall had.

Iskall had a lot of perky fun things about them. They were funny, they were charming and a down right cool person to be around.

They also related more on a personal level then most.

With Mumbo appearing to be a fully grown adult, while only being 19 years old was challenging. Mumbo felt like a stranger in his own body, and with his body still growing at a rapid pace it was painful.

With Iskall it was a bit different. They were non-binary and they preferred to go by them/they pronouns. A thing that Mumbo grasped a bit easier than others. He also got permission to call Iskall bro, dude or man.

The two were unique and the two were experiences. Which was understandable.

There was even a moment in time where it was Iskall who had rushed to Mumbo's aid when Mumbo had gone through another pain spike. Something X still regrets not being able to prevent.

Time Skip
Season 5 was a hectic one. Everyone choice sides and everyone fought. There was no question. You either fought or died.

With some of the newer Hermits, they were frightened by the sudden change. Luckily the new hermit Stress was able to take refuge with Mumbo and Iskall, creating a bond with them.

The three became a trio and they helped pull each other through season 5's chaos and destruction.

Season 5 was also when Mumbo's body decided to stop growing. The pain spikes ended and he ended up being trapped in a body he hardly knew since X couldn't change him back. Not that the 20 year old complained a lot. He was now the second tallest hermit in the hermitcraft server.

Time Skip
Then came Season 6 brought Grian, an actual gremlin compared to the quiet and timid giant that was the now 22 year old Mumbo Jumbo.

Funny thing is, Grian never knew that Mumbo was short, he just thinks that Mumbo has forever been tall.

(Whoooooa- I finished this really late at night sooooo- I kinda forgot what I was doing with this story?

Maybe a headcanon that Mumbo use to be really really short and underweight when he first joined at age 17 in season 2. Then due to glitches and errors later in season 2 he could start to grow at a rapid rate or something?

I might draw some more away from this and make this an actual headcanons since- small 17 year old Mumbo is valid.)
