All Keralis could remember was almost burning to death and ending up having to run to the portal all while Xisuma attempted to bring him back to the overworld. Once he had woken up, he was met by a new world, but it look nothing like the one he was used to.

Unfortunately, his first calls for help was met with Scar and Doc assuming that he was an alien instead of the actual Keralis. Despite his efforts of trying to convince the two hermits that he is the real Keralis and not just some imposter or alien trying to do some Evil X shenanigans, Doc ended up dragging him to Area 77. Keralis looked at Scar and Doc with helplessness, trying to pull his arms out to escape.

"Guys, I am the real Keralis! Remember me?" Keralis pleaded, as Scar still had his sword out.

Doc sighed, staring at Keralis' eyes which were permanently widen and every time he had to convey emotion it doesn't feel right especially when he's angry. Scar could tell that Keralis was confused, but my god he couldn't take him that seriously due to the lack of expression from his eyes.

"Whatever the hell you call yourself alien, we're going to have to put you on hostage." Doc replied, using his robotic arm to prevent Keralis from escaping.

Keralis still tried to change Doc and Scar's mind. "I swear, we met before! Doc, it's me!"

"This alien is insane..." Scar mumbled softly to Doc. "Doc, what do you think?"

"We should put him in the spare room, Scar." Doc replied back.

Scar? Who the hell is Scar? Keralis thought to himself. And why is he wearing a policeman uniform? He looks almost like a cowboy? Joehills' brother?

Doc knew, this has to be someone he knows from the past. It was all blurry though, like a lost memory to the mad scientist. Either way, this mysterious looking man does look like an alien more than human.

"Scar, you put him in the empty spare room we got for our aliens. I'll deal with the salmon ghost trying to escape again."

Keralis panicked. "What? No, you can't let me do that! I-I only got out of this porta-"

As Keralis was about to say another word, Scar had thrown his trident at the already terrified ex-hermit.

Keralis couldn't feel anything, he was blacked out immediately after Scar's trident hit him. Upon waking up once again, he was in different clothes. An orange jumpsuit and a singular yellow bed. He was surprised, coloured beds? This was strange.

Him being curious slowly walked up to the random boxes. As he was about to take a closer inspection at them, the sounds of blaring alarms whirred. Keralis panicked, noticing the sudden flash of a red light and realising that it was stuck on his chest, glowing red.

WARNING. SUBJECT #01 HAS BEEN AWOKEN. AREA 77 EMPLOYEES MUST BE EVACUATED, OFFICIALS DOCM77 AND GTWSCAR PLEASE GO TO ROOM NO.77.

"What?" Keralis suddenly said out loud, but there was no response. It felt lonely, even though he had just woken up just a few minutes ago. This room was empty, nothing except those boxes Keralis is wondering what happened while he was gone and the single yellow coloured bed he was lying down upon.

He just wanted to see his friends back, especially Xisuma. Sadly though, most of the people he has hung around with in the server are either dead or were unwhitelisted due to personal reasons.

"Okay, chill Keralis! We'll surely find a way out here..." Keralis assured to himself, looking around the room. It was hard not for him to have a crisis, he wished that he still got his admin powers and was able to go onto creative. "Thank god it wasn't at least built with obsidian."

Keralis was then disrupted by the gates outside Room No.77 opening, proceeding to sigh out of annoyance as Doc and Scar approached him.

Scar began to point out at the two suspects, "You know, we're nice people. We just want this to be a safe server and-"

"Calm down, whatever you are I promise I'm just a Hermit." Keralis tried to calm Scar and Doc down, putting his arms out just in case Scar was going to do something worse other than throw his trident at him again.

Doc chuckled slightly. "You know, it's pretty adorable that  you are trying to act so cute because you want us to feel sympathy?"

"Just get me out of here, please." Keralis urged, pretty much desperate to get out. "I'm not an alien, even if I'm probably not even human I didn't do any harm for me to be here."

Scar shook his head out of disagreement. "We don't know how you even got here. You could be the one hiding about the Nho's disappearance!"

Keralis couldn't believe it. He doesn't even know who the Nho was, this was just Scar assuming he was someone else or maybe Evil X as a disguise.

"What's with you and Doc anyway?" Keralis brought up, but was quickly cut off by Doc's coughing out of nervousness. The wide eyed hermit could tell that Doc and Scar had something.

Scar dismissed it, wanting to change the topic. "Anyways, can we just talk about how this might just be an alien in front of us right now?" Keralis could tell that Scar had a suspicious feeling for him, maybe because of his wide eyes that look like it belonged to an alien.

"They're not classified as alien, Scar." Doc corrected him, being the smartass scientist he was. "We put them under the category, NSFS."

"What the hell does that stand for?" Keralis asked in disbelief.

"Not Safe For Server." Scar disclosed.

"Either way, you can't go anywhere unless you prove to us that we can trust you." Doc said in a serious tone. "Unless..."

Doc's voice trailed off, Keralis watched as Doc just didn't say anything else but mumbled quietly to himself.

"What?" Scar sputtered out, nudging Doc's shoulder. "Doc, we can't just waste our time here!"

Doc didn't respond, completely ignoring Scar.

"Okay, whatever. I'll leave you to deal with whoever this big eyed idiot is." Scar snapped, he wasn't really angry but more annoyed as he wasted so much time on having to deal with Grian and Ren's hippy business, plus Impulse joining in the mix. Now with Keralis and maybe Ren and Grian being more insane and smelling like they just came out from the sewers, Scar is not having a good time.

"Scar, you can't just leave me with Doc! If you think I'm fake, bring Xisuma then!" Keralis cried out loud, he doesn't know who Scar even is yet!

"Why not build a house for me? Prove that you are that Keralis guy." Scar objected. "Besides, we're in charge of Area 77 and Xisuma is at least giving us free diamond blocks."

And with that, Scar had shut himself up and left Doc and Keralis to deal with themselves.

Keralis looked down on the ground, feeling helpless now he's basically stuck with a person he hasn't been talking to for ages. He just woken up from a coma, this was his payback?

"If you don't get me out, can you at least tell me why Scar doesn't like me?" Keralis grumbled out in a soft tone.

"He just doesn't want another Evil X and Wormman to ruin the server." Doc shrugged it off, still not maintaining eye contact with Keralis.

"Who's Evil X and Wormman?"

"Nevermind."

Still a bit of an awkward silence, Doc continued on though, due to the fact that he still has a feeling he saw this strange "creature" before wherever that's through Xisuma (Xisuma pretty much knows everyone that has been on the Hermitcraft server) or himself.

"Look, if you do what I ask you to do, maybe I'll remove you from the NSFS list."

"I'm pretty sure I'm the only one on that list." Keralis added on, now sitting down with his legs crossed, he was getting tired of standing up for a long period of time.

"Actually no, there's also EX, Wormman, Biffa..."

"Biffa?!" Keralis heard Biffa's name, one of Xisuma's closest friends. Now that's a name he hasn't really heard of forever, he could say the same for Joe and Bdubs. Biffa though, why was he on the NSFS list? Did something happen? Keralis was far gone for too long so it shocked him to see that Biffa would've commit such crimes (To Keralis, Biffa was just a British fella who helped Xisuma around).

Doc looked around, making sure Scar and any other hermit who was spying on them which was impossible but Doc was paranoid that Grian would be overhearing their conversation. He looked down out of gulit, not wanting Keralis to know what happened to Biffa.

"Well, he is still on the server, I believe he's on leave for a vacation..." Doc uttered out of his mouth, he then proceeded to press a dispenser which popped out a few boxes.

But there weren't any normal chests or enderchests to be exact, some patterned coloured boxes instead. Keralis attempted to interact with these boxes, opening up upwards. Now there were boxes that you can store items without having to carry an enderchest around? Keralis was living a dream, this was he was missing for the pass few years.

Inside these boxes were materials, the stuff Keralis would use to build for. There were also a few food items, decorations and other things he couldn't even recongise. Everything was advanced, Keralis couldn't believe it.

"So Scar wants me to create a building and then I get out of this hellhole..." Keralis guessed, holding a block of quartz.

"Not just building though, I have a special request too." Doc snickered.

Oh please, don't tell me I have to help you get together with Scar or whoever that bitch is. Keralis thought quietly, his palms begining to sweat.

"Listen, erm there's a hermit that I really like and-"

"Okay, I get it. He's cute to you, I guess." Keralis suddenly interrupted.

Doc's face was suddenly turning into a redish tone, his face was warmer than Sahara.

"Listen man, Scar's pretty cute. He's on my mind since we started this Area 77 project, and I really need your help."

Keralis bursted out of laughter. "That's so cute, but why me out of all hermits?"

"I did my research, Xisuma kept all of the previous hermits activities and sure enough, you are a good builder."

The wide eyed builder smiled, finally someone at least believes that he's the real Keralis? Or maybe he was looking at someone else? It just made Keralis feel a sigh of relief, it was better than being burned to lava.

"But, regardless you still need to build some sort of restaurant or house that would suit me and Scar's date." Doc recited.

"You want me to do all of that? What kind of date?"

"We don't usually have time here, I want to make sure Scar isn't overwhelmed about all this alien bullshit."

Keralis could already tell though, Scar was definitely doing this because he wants to get admin role from Xisuma. He felt bad that he wasn't an alien nor an evil version of himself, Doc was really his only other partner he worked closely to due to the fact Area 77 was isolated from the rest of the hermits in Hermitville.

Finally, Keralis nodded.

"Just give me half an hour, Doc."

Tweaking and more tweaking, Keralis had never spend this much time just building a small little building for Doc to either confess his love for Scar or just have a little date with him. It took him long to figure out what a shulker box is, or how to use redstone because the game kept changing stuff about redstone.

Occasionally, Scar would take another quick look at the building before heading back to his duties. He was quite impressed, Keralis was definitely a hermit back in the day.

Once Keralis had finished, he only called out Doc, who was eating another cookie from the cookie jar as well as being half asleep. Upon seeing the building, Doc was amazed by how much detail Keralis put into it. It was a simple build, few flowers were planted and there was even a little table and chairs for Doc and Scar to sit down at. There was two glasses of wine, and bread which Keralis just put down at the last second.

"Keralis, this is amazing!" Doc observed excitedly. "I can't believe it, you really are such a good builder! X was right after all."

Scar was behind Doc, still on his uniform with the exception of his hat being off. He was also in love with the building, whatever Keralis was going for. It wasn't perfect, but the two didn't expect Keralis to put so much effort into trying to get out of Area 77.

"I mean, I did a lot of building even when I'm off the Hermitcraft server." Keralis scratched his head out of overwhelmingness. "Fank you, so happy you two love this."

Doc's hand pulled the lever, which alerted Scar to attack Doc because you weren't suppose to open the lever when there's an "alien" in the room. But Keralis didn't move an inch, offering Scar to come inside the building. Doc smirked, taking his glass of wine as Scar moved down to where they were going to sit.

Eventually, Doc was able to convince Scar to let Keralis out of the building, this was their personal break after all. Keralis was thankful that Xisuma had finally arrived, having brought in a few gifts and starter shulker boxes for him to relearn how to do things.

"If this goes well, I'll make sure to give you a few diamond blocks." Doc whispered to Keralis' ear, as Keralis waved him and Scar a thank you and goodbye.

Once met with Xisuma, Keralis was met with his first hug. Xisuma removed his helmet, Keralis had never seen X so happy before.

"Oh my god, I'm so glad you're alive!" Xisuma chuckled, his voice was way different than the previous years. The same accent, but such enthusiasm which was a nice surprise from Keralis.

"Glad we got to see each other again, Shishswamy!" Keralis beamed out, holding Xisuma's hand with the biggest grin.

Xisuma couldn't be more grateful, his close friend was here in front of him for the first time in years. "So sorry, Scar and Doc were misunderstood but you're now removed from the NSFS list so no more Area 77 patrolling for now."

Keralis nodded, walking out of the Area 77 building with X.

"Now come on, let me introduce you to the stores and other things you need to know."

The next day, Keralis realised that his letterbox was full of a bunch of books. After mining for more diamonds, he found that most of these were books for mending, a few letters from hermits he had never met which were mainly welcome letters, one pamplet about a hippie group and an organisation called Concorp advertising their building blocks. However, out of everything in his mailbox, one had caught his eye. It dropped down on the floor, seeming as Keralis' letterbox was full.

Keralis ripped open the envelope, he didn't recongise the handwriting, but continued to read it anyway.

Dear New Hermit,

I want to say my thanks because I haven't seen anyone so shy and confused as you. Even though you're part of the early Hermitcraft crew, I can't imagine what it's like in that portal, for years trapped there.

Because of your building, I was able to tell Scar how I truly felt. The moment you left, I've never seen Scar so relaxed for a while. He's been busy, I feel like he was so stressed about being a half convex and human, or just simply trying to capture an alien. I understand for him, he's trying his hardest to protect the server.

You can say that night ended well, Scar did had some sort of liking towards me. I don't know about you new hermit but, it felt strange because Scar was only like that to his bald man. I'm rambling, sorry about that. I also want to say that, I'm glad you're settling in. It's hard, trust me I've been there too.

But we're here for you at the end of the day, because of how your building can save me from being single. I really hope you enjoy your time here, even if time is running out for this world. Me and Scar are sorry for what we did, you aren't a threat after all anyway. We should hang out sometime, Scar is grateful you built it. It helped the two of us remember those times where we didn't have to worry too much.

I hope you are able to make new memories here, like what we always do with the other hermits.

Oh, and here's the stack of diamonds I have, Xisuma warned me not to give you multiple blocks of diamonds.

Have a good day, thanks for helping me out.

From, Docm77.
