More than just a bot
Iskall was surprised when there was no retaliation for his tampering with Grumbot. Hell, he hadn't even seen Mumbo and Grian for a long while. But since their bases we're still being expanded and built upon he didn't think much of it.
So when Stress came to him with a worried face he didn't think they had anything to do with it. "What's wrong Stress?"
"It's the voting poll! There's a lectern in front of it with a book in it and I can't move it!" She was wringing her hands together nervously. "I wouldn't mind it normally, but the things written in the book..."
"Let's see what's up then." Iskall said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We'll fix this, don't worry. Afterall, there's nothing IskallMAN can't do!"
This got a giggle out of her, which he considered a win.
It didn't take long to get to the shopping district, and as soon as he was out of the portal the lectern became very apparent. It was sitting innocently in front of Stress' poll, but he knew there was something up with it. Iskall decided to see what was written in it, see why Stress was so distressed.

Literally
"What - what is this?" Asked Iskall, reading it over and over again in his head. "Who wrote this?"
"I think it's one of the others who're running. But I can't understand what they mean!" Cried Stress, brown eyes wide as she looked around the area. "And why would they say such a thing, we haven't done anything!"
Iskall was about to agree with her when he realized something, and with wide eyes he looked towards the red concret, Mambo's poll. "You haven't. But I have."
Stress looked up at him weirdly. "What do you mean luv? Do you know who it was?"
He nodded. "It was Grian and Mumbo. I may have tempered a bit with Grumbot, but since they didn't say anything I didn't think they were mad at me. I guess that wasn't the case."
Slow clapping came from where the nether portal was and they both whirled around to come face to face with - a...tall robot copy of Grian? Well the hair was also shorter too, just reaching below his ears, but that's besides the point. "Congratulations, you figured out you messed up."
"Who are you?" Growled Iskall, hand reaching for his swords. Though he didn't take it out just yet.
"I am Robot Grian," he introduced, standing formally with a straight back. "But you may also call me RG." His robotic face formed a sharp grin as he stared them both down. "And you killed my brother, Iskall, and I can't stand for that."
"Grumbot? I just altered his code a bit! I'm sure Mumbo can just fix him up right as rain!" Iskall defende, shoulders tensing up as he stared right back at the metallic man in front of him.
RG's face turned furious. ""Fix him up right as rain"? Are you such a fucking fool that you can't even think right?! You messed with his motherboard! You carelessly replaced it and kept everything else! Mumbo and Grian thought you had actually replaced everything correctly so they re-replaced the motherboard again and didn't look into anything else!" As he'd been ranting he'd been stalking closer, and he was now face to face with Iskall. "Your carelessness caused Grumbot to short circuit! You fucking fried his brains! You killed him! And for the past week Grian and Mumbo both have been spending countless nights moving him to their private world and fixing his A.I there, have you not noticed their absence on the server?"
"But, but their bases are still being worked on..." Iskall stuttered, eye wide as he looked up at the droid in front of him. "So-so assumed they were still here."
RG, scoffed. "No, they're not here. I have been the one working on the builds, doing what I was made to do basically."
"But why don't we know they left?" Asked Stress, stepping out from behind Iskall. "It would have said that they left in chat."
"Grian has his ways." Was all RG said to her question.
By now other Hermits had arrived in the shopping district, some coming from setting up their portals again, and others from going out and hunting for netherite. And as they saw the situation - Iskall and Stress cornered by a tall, red eyed angry looking Grian robot - they drew their weapons.
"Hey! Step away from my friends!" Shouted Ren, ears pinned against the ideas of his head. His bow was drawn in warning, but RG didn't look worried at all.
"No, I don't think I will. At least not from Iskall." He turned to address Stress. "You may leave if you wish, you had nothing to do with this other than to recruit this killer."
"Hey! He's not a killer!" Stress argued, feeling the need to stand up for a friend.
The androids glared at her. "His actions say otherwise."
"Grumbot is just a build! You don't need to get violent over that!" Iskall said, making sure to keep his distance with RG. "If you miss him so much just rebuild it!" Maybe he wasn't right, but he had no other options then to argue like this to at least try to get away. Not that he was very successful.
"And Doc and Cleo are just mobs, right? Just two entities that could be replaced easily!" Shouted RG, hands raised and waving at the two Hermits talked about. "You'd say otherwise, because they have sentience right? Well guess what, so did Grumbot! So does Jrumbot! As do I! Your argument is nothing but you trying to avoid and deflect, even you must realize how weak it was!"
Xisuma stepped in here, full netherite armor glinting with heavy enchantments. "I know you are angry, whoever you are, but attacking Iskall isn't a good idea."
"Why not?" Hissed RG, fists flexing. "He can respawn, he'll live. Grumbot can't, so why shouldn't he suffer a temporary death to amend for what could have been Grumbots permanent one?"
"Wait "could have"? So he's not dead?" Asked Stress.
"No. No way in hell would we ever let that happen."
"So why attack me?! Why make it sound like he was dead!" Cried Iskall, throwing his hands up in a "the fuck?" gesture.
It was X who answered, and not RG, though he was more addressing the android than Iskall. "It's to teach him a lesson, right? To teach him his actions have consequences even though everyone was fine in the end?"
That got him a confirmatory nod from RG. "I'm glad at least someone here gets it." He then looked down at the watch he had on his wrist and then walked over to an ender chest and pulled out a small orb before throwing it down on the floor. When it hit the ground a frameless nether portal appreard. The Hermits assumed he'd walk through, but instead two people walked out. Mumbo and Grian to be more exact.
Grian nodded at RG with a smile, Mumbo doing much the same. The two mostly didn't look any different as to when they disappeared, though Mumbo's hair was all over the place and Grian's wasn't any better by even a smudge. The android nodded back before walking through the portal, the solid purple mist disappearing behind him.
As soon as RG was gone Grian's violet eyes snapped to Iskall and he just stared the Swede down without saying anything. "The only reason you aren't waking up in a bed right now is because I've had time to calm myself." The dirty blond growled, Mumbo made for a terrifying looming shadow over him, with his stony and cold demeanor looking down from behind Grian. "But don't think this is over and that you're forgiven, because you aren't, not by a long shot."
Iskall gave them a shaky nod, not willing to take any risks. He'd forgotten how truly terrifying Grian and Mumbo both could be, Mumbo more so than Grian in forgetfulness level.
"Good!" Grian chriped before dragging his ebony haired partner to the Nether portal. "Now come on Mumbo! I want to go exploring the new Nether!"
When the duo were fully gone through the portal Iskall fell into a boneless heep on the ground. Stress immediately dropped to his side, but he waved her off. "I'm fine. I'm just catching my breath and trying to slow my heart a bit."
"Sooo, can we all agree to never mess with anything of Mumbo or Grian's from now on?" Scar asked, hand raised to forward his idea. Others followed him and False even asked, "Is this a mayoral promis you're making?"
Safe to say Iskall lived in fear for about a week before he was forgiven (he had been forgiven earlier, but since he'd been avoiding the duo like the plague he didn't know that) and soon everything was back to business on the server. And in a different world four robotic beings safely lived peacefully.
<If canon won't met my baby be happy then fiction will fix it! So Grumbot and Jrumbot will both be safe in Grian's private world from no one no matter what happens to them on the server. And RG and NPG are both free roaming too, I want happy Grian family of robots only. And yeah, that's about all I wanted to say!
So stay safe and have a wonderful time everyone!>
