I did a one shot collaboration with @Seth189 ! They're my favorite author on this funny little Internet place called Wattpad so it was an honor. Hope you enjoy, and thanks Seth!

"Tango! There you are!" Etho jogged over to the Dungeon Master, who was currently working on Decked Out 2.

Tango turned and smiled. "Heya, Etho. What's up?"

"Is it okay if I bring a friend with me? He's interested in playing." Etho said.

"A friend? Sure! What's their name?""Joel. Joel Beans."

"Joel... have I met him before?" Tango rested his chin on his hand.

"Yeah, he was my, uh, soulmate." Etho scratched the back of his neck.

"Oh. Right. Him. Of course he can come, anyone's welcome!"

Later-

Tango watched as everyone got set up. He started the game and he kept glancing at Joel and Etho.

Joel was whispering something to Etho, which made him laugh.

Tango bit his lip, trying to ignore his feelings of being left out.

Tango watched as Etho and Joel chatted about nothing in particular.

They both looked so....happy.

Tango sighs.

'Maybe my chance is gone. Dammit I should've asked Etho out earlier'

Etho looked at Tango and stopped talking with Joel.

 He walked over.

"Hey, you ok? You look down."

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." Tango had a small smile.

"Of course! I care about you." Etho hugged Tango. He pulled down his mask slightly. "A lot. I care about you a lot."

He gave Tango a small peck on the cheek before pulling his mask back up and going back into conversation with Joel, giggling slightly, leaving a very flustered Dungeon Master who was now sitting on the floor.

Tango stood there, he felt frozen. His heart was beating a thousand miles and hour, and Tango felt like he was going to explode.

"Oh my cod." He whispered.

He put his hand on his cheek and smiled. He jumped up and punched a fist in the air in celebration, trying to hold in his squeals.

Joel saw this from afar and chuckled, nudging Etho with his shoulder.

"Aw, look at your boyfriend! He's all flustered."

 Etho blushed under the mask.

"He's not my boyfriend!"

 "You just kissed him, Etho."

"On the cheek, yeah! He probably thinks it was platonic." Etho hid his face in his hands.

"Because when it's platonic, you punch the air and squeal while blushing? 'Cause that's what he's doing." Joel pointed to Tango, who was doing all of the above.

"Hey, Tango!!" Joel yelled. Tango turned to look at them, Etho still hiding in his hands.

"Come over here!" Joel motioned for Tango to come closer.

Tango looked behind him before realizing Joel was talking to him.

Tango nervously walked over. "He-hey guys, what's up?" He asked, stuttering.

"Etho here has a c- mmph!" Joel's mouth was covered by Etho's hand.

"Shut up Joel! Uh. Hi Tango." Etho smiled with his eyes.

 "Hey... what's up?"

"Nothing, what about you?" Etho took his hand off Joel's mouth but shot him a death look.

"Not much, but, uh..." Tango fidgeted.

 "But what?" Etho asked.

Tango felt confused. Etho had just kissed him and now he was acting like nothing happened. Was- was it just a platonic kiss? Did it mean nothing?

"Oh uh...nothing, nothing." Tango's voice trailed off and it got quieter and he looked at the ground.

"... Tango?" Etho was worried and grabbed Tango's hand.

Tango looked up at Etho. There were tears in his eyes.

 "Tango, what's wro-"

"Was it platonic? The kiss? Because..." Tango wiped a tear from his face. "Because I like you, Etho. And you just took my heart and snuffed it out!" He let out another sob while running away.

"Tango! Wait!" Etho shouted but Tango just ran faster. Etho felt terrible and he ran after his crush. "Tango!" Etho shouted, trying to catch up to Tango, who was running surprisingly fast.

"How is he... so fast..." Etho pulled down his mask to breathe, still jogging. He saw Tango launch a firework and fly off to the west.

Etho knew what was to the west.

 That's where they met.

Later-

Etho softly landed in. Tango was sitting under a tree near a lake. He was skipping stones, unaware of Etho being behind him.

Etho walked quietly, closer and closer to Tango. When he was close enough he walked and sat down, with more noise, next to Tango.

 "Etho..." Tango's voice was sad.

 "It wasn't."

 "What?"

"It" Etho pulled down his mask "wasn't platonic." He leaned forwards and kissed Tango on the nose, softly.

Tango flushed red and he felt like his face was on fire.

"I- wha- not- not platonic?" He asked, wincing as his voice cracked a bit.His hands were shaking and he felt like his heart was about to explode.

"Nope. Not platonic." Etho smiled at Tango, who was a blushing and blabbering mess.

"I- but you-" Tango looked Etho in the eyes.Etho smiled, looking at Tango like he was his whole world.

Tango felt his heart melt.

"It's not platonic, Tango." Etho whispered, gently leaning in and kissing Tango softly.

Tango's heart raced and he slowly kissed back, feeling Etho move his hand to his cheek.

Etho cupped Tango's face in his hands, caressing Tango's chin softly. Tango wrapped his arms around Etho's neck, careful to not squeeze.

They eventually leaned back gently. They looked at each other, their eyes full of love and embarrassment.

"I- I really like you Etho, a lot." Tango said and Etho smiled.

"I do too."He softly kissed Tango's cheek and Tango giggled.

I love you
