Viktor pulled Oli into the dark classroom, and shut the door as quietly as he humanly could, before turning to his panicked friend. The male was trembling, hands covering his mouth, presumably to stop himself from screaming. Viktor couldn't blame him. The creature outside wasn't pretty.

"Do you know where Charlie is?" As Oli shook his head, Viktor felt a massive surge of dread. If their friend wasn't with them... where was he? "Okay... stay here, I'm going to find him."

"Are you crazy?! Your going to get killed out there." Oli hissed, grabbing Viktor's shoulder. "You've seen that creature! Face it, Oli. If we don't get Charlie out of there..."

Before either could say anything else, the door crashed open, making Oli release his grip on Viktor to resume a fighting position. A blonde boy, shorter than both of them, burst in, slamming the door behind them.

"Charlie! Oh my gosh, never do that to me again!" Oli yelled. Viktor grabbed his friends shoulders. Charlie rolled his eyes. "Yes, I was getting chased by a giant monster, sorry I took so long though."

Viktor narrowed his eyes, looking closer at his friend. Charlie raised an eyebrow. "You okay there, Vik?"

Oli stood nearby, very confused. Viktor pushed Charlie away from him, grabbed Oli's wrist, and pulled him backwards.

Those were not Charlie's eyes.

His eyes weren't a splash of lots of colours, they were bright blue.

'Charlie' giggled. "Welp... I tried... You two are smarter than you look." His figure slowly started turning black. It turned into a slime, and formed a different body.

Oli cried out as Viktor pushed him behind himself, getting into a battle position.

The tall, black, slimy creature hissed, showing two menacing fangs as green slime dripped out of it mouth. Every step it took left a puddle of toxic slime behind.

Whoever this creature was, it was not their friend.
