Here's part 2 and that song was what I was listening to when I was writing

It took you for ever to finally pick what you were going to wear. Harry breathed a sigh of relief now that he could finally leave and do anything other than help you pick out clothes.

You head back to school and get dressed. You then find Hermione and you blush as you see her in the dress from before

"Why are you reacting like that? You've already seen me in this." Hermione says as she turns to face you and sees you blushing.

"Yeah...but you looked really good." You reply, taking her hand into your own. You then kiss her softly, a subtle reminder that she's loved and beautiful.

She was blushing now too. "I hate you. Let's go already" She says.

You chuckle as she says that and then walk down to the ball hand-in-hand

-Time Skip-

You were talking to Harry cause Hermione was getting drinks for the two of you.

"Harry...I'm really nervous about asking her to dance." You say.

"You're so nervous about everything today. Just go dance with your girlfriend and stop talking to me about your problems." Harry retorts. He was already worn out from helping you pick out your outfit.

Harry got up and walked away. Hermione comes back with the drinks and hands you one.

You blush as you take it and drink, your eyes scan the room and eventually they land on Hermione and your heart skips a beat.

"Hey...'mione." You say

She turns and looks at you

"Y-you...." You take a deep breath, "Do you want to dance with me?" You blurt out quickly, you're entire face now red.

She smiles brightly. "Took you long enough..." She gets up and takes your hand. Then, she pulls you onto the dance floor with a big smile on her face

As you two get there a slow song starts to play. You continue to blush, but this time Hermione was blushing too.

You take another deep breath and put your arms around her waist, gently pulling her closer. Her arms trail up to your shoulders and the two of you start dancing.

You couldn't do anything except look deeply into her gorgeous brown eyes.

The song ended. It was the perfect dance...the perfect moment. You caress her cheek and lean in, kissing her deeply.

"I love you Hermione." You said quietly. It's all the words you could think and manage to say.

"I love you too, Y/N"

"So you want to get out of here?" you ask

"Thought you would never ask." she says and then you take her hand and you both head upstairs.
