You're currently walking in the park with Hermione for her birthday. She requested some fresh air and claimed it was "romantic" though you'd rather be inside with her...

"Hey Hermione" you say, holding her hand as you walk through a park

The sun is setting over the cliffs in the distance. You peer down at Hermione who smiles up at you

"Yes, y/n" she questions as you both sit down on a near by bench

You squeeze her hand even tighter, looking off into the distance

"I love you. You know that right"

She laughs

"Yes, I know. I love you too" She laughs, kissing your cheek softly

You turn and look her in her eyes "No, I really love you. You're my world 'mione" You paused, grabbing the box in your pocket

"I want you to know that I promise to love you forever; through whatever the world has for us. No matter the ups and downs...I'll always be here"

"I promise to be the one for you... the one to make you laugh and smile. The one to make sure you're happy and safe"

She smiles joyfully, her cheeks a shade of pastel pink

You take out the box from your jacket and press it into her hands

She gives you a confused look as she begins to open the box

"Happy birthday, Hermione" you say as she opens the box

Her eyes widen in shock, quickly looking up at you then back down to the gift that lays before her. She laughs nervously to make the situation less awkward for her. Then, she shines her ring in the remainder of the sunlight, it still shimmering in its box

"It's a promise ring. I told you...I promise to love you foreve-" before you can finish she interrupts you with a passionate kiss

You caress her cheek as she runs her fingers through your hair. She kisses you like the world ends; she kisses you with such passion and longing that the world seems to stop

You pull away and smile at her, taking the ring out of the box and placing it onto her slim finger

"I love it. I love you, y/n"

"I promise I'll love you forever. Happy birthday 'mione"
