I sat on the muddy forest floor as Chloe clung to me and sobbed on to my shoulder as I tried to comfort her. I knew what it's like to see my parents die, although at least she didn't see her father get tortured like I did, I know that it's going to be a while before Chloe will feel better and I was going to do everything I could to help her.

The others were stood a few feet away looking like they didn't know what to do. I saw Seth being slightly held back by Jared, and that's when it finally clicked in my mind that Chloe was Seth's imprint, I wonder if he's told her. I know that Seth has taken her on a few dates and that they were quite close. As I looked at Seth, I could see that it hurt him to see Chloe so vulnerable and distraught. I motioned for Jared to release his hold on Seth and nodded for him to come over to Chloe and I.

Seth knelt down beside me and I carefully pried Chloe's arms off of me and allowed her to launch herself at Seth and hugged him with all her might. I patted Seth and smiled at him as he began whispering comforting words into Chloe's ear.

I silently stood up and walked over to the death eater that I killed last and picked up his broken wand. I then looked in his jacket and dug around in his pocket until I found what I was looking for, his wallet.

"What are you doing?" Asked Carlisle.

"Looking for ID so I know which death eater attacked us." I said.

"Wait so you don't recognise these death eaters?" Asked Sam.

"No I don't recognise them." I replied.

"So how do you know they're death eaters for sure?" Asked Rosalie.

"Well, they're wizards, they attacked us, they were working with vampires who I presume are part of the Volturi, but the main thing is this." I said as I showed them the man's forearm that had the familiar dark mark on it.

"What is that?" Asked Jacob.

"The dark mark. Lord Voldemort made all his followers wear it to show that they are death eaters. It was also used to summon Voldemort before he died." I said as I stood up and looked in the death eaters wallet, it turns out this guy was called Augustus Rookwood. I recognised the name he worked as an Unspeakable at the Ministry of Magic, using this position to spy for Lord Voldemort. Rookwood was imprisoned in Azkaban, having been betrayed by Igor Karkaroff in exchange for his freedom. Rookwood later escaped during the mass breakout but was re-incarcerated after participating in the illegal break-in and battle of the Department of Mysteries. He escaped once again during another mass breakout and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, but he managed to escape with most of the other death eaters and he wasn't found, until now.

I looked up when Harry and Sirius appeared next to the others.

"It looks like we've finally gotten Augustus Rookwood." I said to Harry and Sirius who nodded as I threw the wallet and the broken wand at them to examine.

"Are you okay?" Asked Harry.

I just nodded. I was practically unharmed compared to others, I glanced over at Chloe again. I really thought the war was over but now a whole new war was breaking out. I glanced at John's ashes and tried to fight the tears that were threatening to escape my eyes. John's death and the death eater/Volturi attack kept reminding me of my own parents deaths and when myself and my parents were tortured. Harry walked over to me and pulled me into a brotherly hug. I sniffled as I buried my head into Harry's shoulder.

"I know this is hard for you and I know that this brings up some bad memories, but it's going to be okay." Said Harry as he stroked my back.

"How do you know that it'll be okay?" I asked.

"To be honest I don't know that it'll be okay, but we've already fought these guys before and we can do it again." He said.

"Thanks." I said as he released me from the hug.

"Anytime, you're like my sister, 'Mione, and I'll always be here if you want to talk." He said. I nodded and smiled.

"We should be getting out of the woods now." Said Sam.

"I agree. We'll organise larger groups for patrols and we'll start tomorrow, but for now we need to get back." Said Sirius.

We nodded and began following him. I walked over to Chloe and helped Seth pull her to her feet. Seth picked her up and carried her after the others. I turned back to the bodies of the death eaters and the Volturi that attacked us. I flicked my wand and set their bodies on fire to make sure that they were dead.

I caught up with the others and found myself walking with Carlisle.

"I was wondering if Chloe could possibly stay at your house, my house is basically full and staying at her own house is probably too painful for her after what just happened?" I asked Carlisle.

"Of course. We have plenty of rooms so of course she can stay. Will you be staying as well? I'm sure she'll be needing a friend to comfort her." Said Carlisle.

"Yes please. I want to make sure that she's okay." I replied.

Carlisle nodded and smiled before he went to tell Seth to take Chloe to the Cullens house. I nearly jumped when Paul walked up to me and held my hand.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." I said.

"I was seriously worried about you." He said which made me smile.

"I promise that I won't go on patrol without you with me." I said.

"Good." He said as he kissed my cheek.

"I won't be staying at my house for a while because Harry and the others are staying there so I'll be at the Cullens instead. Chloe needs me right now." I said.

"Of course." He said. "I'll come over to the Cullens every day with Jacob and Seth to visit you."

"Thanks Paul. By the way will you come to my house with me to get some clothes and then to Chloe's house to get her stuff. Please." I said.

"Of course." He said.

"Thanks." I said.

We all walked in comfortable silence until we split to go our separate directions. The Cullens, Seth and Chloe walked to the Cullens house, Sam and the rest of the wolves went back to Sam's house and Harry, Sirius, Paul and I walked back to my house.

After an hour Paul and I arrived at the Cullens house with two large bags, one filled with my stuff and the other had Chloe's stuff. I knocked on the door and smiled when Esme answered.

"There you are, Hermione. Hello Paul." She said. "Come on in."

We followed her into the living room where Carlisle, Edward, Bella, Jasper, Emmet and Rosalie were sat.

"Where's Chloe?" I asked.

"I'll take you to her." Said Bella.

She stood up and grabbed my hand before she began to pull me up the stairs towards one of the spare bedrooms, Paul was following close behind me.

Bella led us into the large spare bedroom that Chloe and I would be sharing. As soon as she opened the door I immediately saw Chloe laid face down on her bed crying, Seth was sat next to her stroking her back. When Seth saw Paul and I, he walked straight over to us and helped Paul with the bags whilst I walked over to Chloe.

"Chloe? Are you alright?" I asked.

She slowly raised her head and began shaking her head as a 'no'.

"Come here." I said as I climbed on the bed and pulled her into a hug. "Everything will be okay, I promise."
