Footsteps thudded behind him as he ran, the downpour soaking his clothes and plastering them to his body. He went faster, eyes scanning the alleyway. "After him!" all the doors were jammed shut, windows boarded up. Damn. He thought, shoving a small box in his pocket. Guess I'll have to exert myself a little. He thought, clipping a corner. As soon as he turned he leapt onto a building and crouched on top, stilling his movements. The men chasing him kept running. "He's getting away!" the one in the lead shouted. The cries faded into the distance as they ran further away. Killua sighed, sitting down and opening the box. A shiny ring glinted teasingly at him from inside the velvet padded box. He smiled. That was easier than I thought.
