    Jazz & Lizzie rarely ever knew what they were doing, they just knew whatever trouble they were getting into didn't matter as long as they were in it together.  Like clockwork, trouble falls into Jazz's lap and almost every week she's dying to drag Lizzie along for the ride (and Lizzie can't say no, like the people pleaser she is).  

     When Jazz finds an old mixtape in the attic ⸺ "Jolene"⸺ and notes how Dolly's hit is the first track on the tape, she thinks her mom was just being sentimental and forgot to throw away some old stuff from her youth... until the hears a message after the last track meant for an actual girl named Jolene James.

     Strange name, she thought, but an even stranger secret that her mom kept it hidden away all these years.  Who was Jolene, and why did she never receive her moms killer mixtape?

     It's all fun and games for Jazz until she and Liz accidentally bring Jolene and her friends (slash bandmates slash found family) back from the dead ⸺ the girls having absolutely no recollection of the night they died.  So with the resurrected girls, Jazz's family dilemma, and a curly-haired girl Lizzie is dying to impress, they do the only logical thing they can think of... and get the band back together.  Too bad Sunset Curve and Shake It Up are sworn enemies!
