" Shameeka is a bitch......she is not so easy to defeat. " Deepika sighed.

" No guys! You got to stand up for yourselves. You can't let her step on you.....she is immature and we need to put her in place. "

" But how? " Maya countered.

" Making her wish she never messed with us . " I answered with a smirk.

" What do u mean? " Natasha asked as her eyes held confusion.

" What is the thing she likes to do the most? " I asked them back.

"Dance." Mehika answered. " She dances very well. Hell she is the head cheerleader! She has won many trophies and stuff for the school."

" Okay lets start with a small prank. " I suggested.

They all looked at me taking in what I said. " We will put itching powder in her gym shorts in which she practices. So her dance will look something as of a struggling seal. If dance means that much to her....she cannot handle the humiliation. "

They all looked at each other with an expression I cannot put a finger on.

"Okay.....when do we start? " Natasha was the first one to break the silence.

" A few days after school starts. " I answered.

" Speaking of school....its due on next Monday." Deepika answered with a groan.

" We have to go for shopping! " Natasha squealed. " Oh god! I have yet to bring my tops and boots. why does it have to start so soon?? "

" So how is our school? " I asked. My mom had already admitted me to ' Cambridge International '. It seems like a fancy school when I checked its images online.

" Our school is the definition of the word cliche. You will have your nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, bad boys, average students, the un noticed, the drama clubs people, the government body and the social workers." Mehika gave an introduction.

" hmm " I nodded my head in understanding.

" Shamika is the head cheerleader as we said. Rohan is one of the football players, the most charming boy of the school .... but he is still in junior year. Sam, Shoaib and Ayan are the heart throbs of the school. Sam had that bad boy aura but he is definitely the hottest boy of the school...." Mehika was was rudely interrupted when Deepika snorted. She gave her glare and continued " Shoaib is a happy go lucky guy whereas Ayan is the calm and collected guy. Rahul, Rohan's brother lives in the shadow of his brother.....but he has his own personality. He is nice and shy and kind......" She went into her lala land and we had to snap our finger in front of her face.

She cleared her throat as she came out of her trance and continued " Our school doesn't give homeworks usually but we have a lot of projects and assignments and extra curricular activities. "

Sounds good.

" OMG!!! We have to go shopping!!! " Natasha exclaimed for the second or third time.

" We will go tomorrow or on Sunday. " Deepika said.

" Lets go tomorrow. Sunday we will enjoy our last day of vacation. " Maya said conforming our plans.

" Okee dokees. " Natasha said squealing. Is she always this hyper??

We paid for our order and left the cafe.

The rest of the day passed in a blur.

" Get up Ari! " I heard someone shout.

" Goafay " I groaned and burried my head in my pillow.

" Get your ass out of your bed. Right. Now. " Some other person said in a stern voice.

" Some heavy sleeper she is Dips. " I heard the first person say.

" Go fu hwell lemme leep. " I groaned again, throwing a spare pillow towards the noises.

" Seriously? Disney Princess bra and panties? " I heard a male voice say.

I know that voice. Sam. What is he doing in my room?? And he found my Disney princess bra??? And panties?????

I got out of my bed in a nano second and searched frantically for him.

Dips and Nuts had amused grins on their faces and Sam was trying to control his laughter. He no longer could control it so he burst out laughing.

" You. You have Disney princess bra?? I just said that to wake you up. Found out my guess was true. " He said in between laughter.

" Its not mine....Its Sia's " I blurted out.

And then my senses came back to me and I face palmed myself for being so stupid.

Meanwhile everyone was laughing their heads off and my cheeks were redder than a tomato. I was embarrassed beyond compare.

" Donkeys! " I retorted with a lame comeback and headed to the bathroom.

I heard laughter in the living room and I headed there. All of them were present.

Sam and Shoaib were pulling Maya's hair, Natasha was going on about something to some guy I haven't seen before, Mehika was pinching Rahul's cheek and Deepika was giggling about Rohan said. Whoa. Wait. What are Rohan and Rahul doing here?? I thought they hated them.

I cleared my throat to gain their attention.

" Hey ! Ariana! " Rohan exclaimed with the biggest smile on his face.

" Hey Rohan. " I greeted him with a groan.

" Hey! So you are the new girl! Sam has been talking about you. And you are as beautiful as he described. Anyways I am Ayan. " The new guy said sticking his hand out,  giving me a genuine smile. He was also as hot as Sam and Shoaib. I blushed at him comment. 

" I am Ariana. " I said shaking his hand and giving him a smile.

" Took you long enough princess. " Sam said calling me a ' princess ' referring to the earlier incident.

" Jerk "

" Ooh someones in a bad mood today. What got your panties in a twist? " Deepika said smirking.

Bitch. She had to use the word panties.

And then Natasha, Dip and Sam burst out laughing while the others looked at us in confusion.

I gave them a deathly glare and they seemed to calm down. The others were still looking at us like we had become mentally retarded.

" So where are we going? " I asked them.

" To infinity mall. We have to shop for clothes and shoes and books and pouches. " Natasha was too excited to go shopping.

" What are Rohan and Rahul doing here? " I whispered to Natasha so that others don't hear.

" It is our ritual. Every time before school starts we go to shopping together. We may hate Rohan but Dips doesn't. He was her best friend after all. And that is why we still go with them. He was my ex but I let go off the past for Dips. She adores him you know. " We turned to saw Deepika giggling about something Rohan said and he had a big smile on his face.

I nodded in understanding and picked up my wallet, phone and keys from my table.

" Whele ale you guysh going? " I heard someone say.

If she embarrasses me in front of all of them I swear no chocolate for her for the rest of the year! Yea chocolates so mean that much to her!

" Hey Sam  " she gave him a toothy grin.

" Hey " he smiled back. A genuine smile. He bent down on his knees to come to her level. " How are you? " he asked giving her a full blown grin.

My heart literally melted there and then. Awww hes so cute!

He maybe a jerk but he is a hot, cute and sweet-to-children kinda jerk. He is a good jerk.

" Is the bad boy getting all mushy? " Rohan asked with a sly grin.

Sam gave him a deathly glare and he knew it was better to keep quiet.

" Oh! Itsh you again! Remember me? The one who told you the truth about your ugly face? " Sia said giving Rohan an honest smile. " Did you change your antique name yet? " 

" Sia that is rude! " I shouted at Sia for being such a brat. Sia can go to any extent if people annoy her and I don''t want to test her limits.

Everyone was watching with their jaws dropped to the ground and Rohan was standing there with a stunned expression on his face.

Sam was the one to burst out laughing first. " Pretty  badass sister you got there. " He said between laughs.

 He high-fived Sia . 

" Where do you learn all such things Sia?? " I asked her. I surely didn't teach her that.

" I goth brains. " she said feeling proud oh herself. " Oh and you were the one who used to say such things to Josh. " 

Yeah. I was pretty angry on him that time. He cheated me and kissed another girl in front of me. Because of a bet! But I moved on.

And Sia definitely learned something.

" Who is Josh? " Sam was the first to ask. 

" A friend from Boston. " I simply answered. Didn't want to talk about him now.

Everyone was just taking in what they saw. They were still recovering from the shock.

" I am going to the mall Sia. I have to do some shopping. Mom has gone for work so I guess you need to come with me. Get changed. " I ordered.

" She can stay at my house if she wants. I have two younger siblings oh her age. A brother and a sister. "  Natasha suggested.

" That is fine by me. " I shrugged. I trust them enough to know they are not some kidnappers or murderers.

" Okay lets get going! " she said her voice full of excitement.

We got tired after shopping for so long. Well we shopped while the boys offered us to hold our bags. Oh what gentlemen! How can we refuse such an offer?

We sat in the food court and ordered MacDonald's. 

" My hands hurt! " Deepika exclaimed. 

" You weren't the one holding bags. " Rohan said with frown and a groan.

After the few hours I spent with him I have come to know he is not so bad after all. He does this ' player ' act but he is a good soul. He still considers Deepika as a good friend.  Its cute to see them together. Why did he choose Shamika over her?

Speaking of Shameeka " Won't Shameeka get angry to know you are with the losers " I said quoting the word looser.

" She doesn't have to know. " He said with a wink.

Everyone rolled their at his statement.

We paid and left the mall. We had come walking because the mall was near to our building and we decided to go home walking. Mehika was not feeling well so she called a taxi and Rahul offered to drop her home. We didn't want to walk with the luggage so we passed them our bags and they went.

The walk home was fun. We got to know each other a lot better. It was already six by the time we reached the building.

We sat in the public canteen for some evening tea and coffee. After chatting a while about school we decided to go home.

" I am going to stay for a while. " I said waving good bye to them. I wanted to enjoy the cool and fresh evening air so I headed to the garden.

I sat down on one of the benches and closed my eyes taking in the fresh smell of mud and grass. Call me weird but I love its smell.

My phone rang and the caller id belonged to my mom. Shit. I  forgot to tell her Sia is at Natasha's place! I picked up the call holding my phone away from my ear cause I knew damn well she was going to shout. After I felt safe and secure about my eardrums I put my phone to my ear.

" Sorry Mom! Forgot to tell you Sia is at Natasha's place. Pick her up from there. " I said all in one breathe.

" Where are you? " she asked.

" In the garden. Be home soon."

She hummed in response and disconnected the phone after a good bye.

I sent a quick text to Mehika saying I shall pick up my bags later from her house and lay my head back down again.

" May I? " I heard someone say.

I knew from the voice itself it was Sam so I nodded my head but didn't open my eyes.

" What are you doing here? " I asked.

" This is my favorite place to come in the evenings. " he replied smiling.

The Bad Boy has a soft spot for nature. I smiled at the thought but decided against teasing him and ruining the moment.

" It feels so calm and refreshing, doesn't it?"

I nodded in response.

We stayed quiet for a while enjoying the nature.

After a while he stood up and I followed him.

" So, how does it feel here? " He asked referring to India.

" Its good so far. "

We removed our shoes and started walking on the cool grass.

" Lets play 20 questions. " He suggested.

" Good idea. " 

I came to know a lot about him. He liked the colours orange and purple. He loved his sister to death. Never had a girlfriend before. 

I told him about Josh being my ex too. Though I didn't tell him he cheated.

It was close to 10 and we were still talking. Not in the garden but in the lobby. He is funny and hilarious and smart. Its not bad being friends with him after all.

I bade him good bye and hurried and rank my doorbell.

" Good bye Princess " was the last thing I heard from him.

I smiled at the new nickname he gave me. I was too tired and full to eat so I went straight to bed.

I checked if I had any notifications from my friends. I replied to their messages and closed my laptop.

I missed my old friends.

But this change is not a bad thing too. And after knowing and being friends with the bad boy its definitely not a bad thing.

With that thought and a smile on my face I drifted off to sleep.
